Portola Reveals 2025 Lineup With LCD Soundsystem, Chemical Brothers, and The Prodigy
San Francisco's Portola has unveiled its 2025 lineup led by LCD Soundsystem, The Chemical Brothers, Underworld, The Prodigy, Moby (performing his album PLAY in full), Christina Aguilera, Peggy Gou, and Dom Dolla.

Organized by Goldenvoice, the San Francisco-based dance and electronic festival returns to Pier 80 on Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st. Other notable acts featured on the 2025 lineup include Anti Up (Chris Lake & Chris Lorenzo), Dev Hynes' Blood Orange, Mau P, The Rapture, Arca, Caribou, Duke Dumont, 2manydjs b2b Erol Alkan, The Blessed Madonna b2b Tiga, Magdalena Bay, Rico Nasty, The Dare, Brutalismus 3000, Bob Moses, Kelly Lee Owens, Boy Harsher, Kreayshawn, and Ravyn Lenae, among others. Plus, DESPACIO, the high-powered sound system and immersive audio experience designed by LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy and David and Stephen Dewaele of 2ManyDJs, will be on site at Portola for its San Francisco debut.
A ticket pre-sale for Portola 2025, including 2-Day GA ($starting at $399.95); VIP ($649.95); and VIP XL ($1,599.95), as well as one day passes, will go on sale beginning Wednesday, May 14th at 12:00 p.m. PT. Boston-based shoe manufacturer Reebok announced that WNBA star Angel Reese's first signature shoe with the brand, dubbed the Reebok Angel Reese 1, will release in stores globally on September 18, 2025. As previously mentioned by Reebok, the shoe is a product of a collaboration between its designers and Reese herself, with the Chicago Sky forward actively involved in its creation from start to finish. The result is a sneaker that is built not only for the grit on the court but also for style off of it. "My personality is me being unapologetically myself—that's what the shoes are as well: unapologetic. The versatility of being able to wear the shoes on and off the court was the most important thing to me. I really wanted to have a shoe that I can wear on the court, but also in the tunnel fits, fashion moments, events, and big things. I have a lot of great friends that also can wear the shoes for their events and music videos, and that's what I thought about too when I started creating the shoe," said Reese in an interview with "Elle." Not just a basketball shoe While the $120 sneaker was built for performance basketball, it has the look of a lifestyle shoe. According to the Reebok website, it uses the brand's patented ERS technology for cushioning and stability, plus their nitrogen-infused SuperFloat foam for shock-absorbing functions. It also has an Exoskeleton upper with molded TPU and cutouts with ventilated mesh panels, which make it lightweight and ideal for everyday use. Add the chic colorways that Reese and Reebok came up with, and you have a shoe that can be worn not just for basketball but for any occasion. "People are going to be wearing Reebok everywhere, just like how they wear Jordans everywhere. Katseye's Cool and Comfortable Denim Is All You'll Want to Wear This Fall

We may earn commission on some of the items you choose to buy. 2025 is shaping up to be quite the year for Katseye, the Los Angeles-based girl group consisting of Lara, Yoonchae, Daniela, Megan, Manon, and Sophia. Originally founded in 2023 through the competition series Dream Academy, the group has quickly amassed a global following, landing them on some of the world's biggest stages. Their schedules are currently jam-packed as they prep for their upcoming Beautiful Chaos tour, and festival season is no exception—the ensemble just got done making their Lollapalooza debut. It was their biggest event to date, and pre-performance nerves ran high. Sophia tells ELLE that even their managers could tell they were anxious, but the performers quickly channeled the audience's collective energy and seized the moment in what ended up being an incredible experience. However, it hasn't been all work and no play. They were recently spotted attending Blackpink's Deadline tour. 'We're all 'Blinks'—they're all over our Pinterest boards,' Sophia says. This summer, Katseye also teamed up with Gap and renowned choreographer Robbie Blue for the retailer's 'Better in Denim' campaign, the latest in a series that revitalizes the beloved dance-centric ads from the early 2000s. (Over the last year, Troye Sivan and Tyla have also starred in campaign spots.) To the tune of Kelis's iconic hit 'Milkshake,' the group channels peak Y2K pop star energy in denim mini skirts, low rise jeans, and custom bralettes. The singers felt cool, confident, and comfortable—their ideal style equation. 'I had the space to blend styles that wouldn't normally sit next to each other—Fosse technique, ballet, hip-hop, and jazz funk,' says Blue. 'It became a dance through decades, just like denim. The clothes moved with the choreography, never against it, and that freedom of movement allowed me and the dancers to tap into something bigger.' Below, the group opens up about finding their own rhythm onstage, their personal style, and the jeans they like best. Daniela: That crowd—let me just say, we were not expecting that many people to show up at all. But once I got on stage, I felt like I was free—like I was at home. We had been rehearsing for many, many weeks and we had never performed in front of such a large crowd before. It was our first festival and after getting off the stage, we had so much adrenaline we wanted to keep going. We were like, 'Let's do it again.' Sophia: It really felt like the six of us belonged there. We were so nervous coming in. I could feel it, collectively, the moment when we were all just letting go. Manon: We're about to do another two festivals—Summer Sonic in Osaka and Tokyo. Sophia: Our first tour ever is the next thing! Lara: Coachella would be a dream, or performing at the Grammy Awards or the VMAs—an iconic performance. Manon: I think 'M.I.A.' is our favorite. It's so high energy. Megan: I like to be very free, but at the same time I love showing a little skin and being hot and confident. Daniela: I love to incorporate my day-to-day style on the stage, like low-waisted jeans and tank tops. As long as I feel confident, that's all that matters. Sophia: I feel like I'm the opposite. There's a touch of my everyday, but when I'm choosing my onstage outfits, there's a different kind of silhouette and vibe. I love that 'Hannah Montana' double life. Daniela: We loved working with the Gap team. Everyone was so kind, such genuine people. Robbie is so talented—it was an honor to be able to work with him because he's so iconic. The moves felt so comfortable in my body. Manon: They had me wear a custom denim bralette. I loved the way it fit. I was about to steal it! Megan: I really liked the men's baggy jeans that I wore. They made me feel really confident but at the same time comfortable, which I really value in a pair of jeans. Daniela: For me, it was the SecondSkin Bodysuit—and you know bodysuits can be a little bit uncomfortable—but this one was so stretchy and flexible. I could dance in it so easily. Lara: I had this denim bralette, too. It was almost like a corset; it was really hot. Yoonchae: I also wore a custom denim top and racing jacket that was tailored directly on my body. Arizona woman beaten unconscious by man during concert at Rose Bowl
An Arizona woman who did not want to be identified is recovering after a brutal beating over the weekend at a sold-out concert in Pasadena's Rose Bowl Stadium that was captured on video and has since gone viral. The frightening ordeal unfolded Saturday night after the victim and her fiancé drove hours from Phoenix to see the Grammy Award winning electronic band RÜFÜS DU SOL. It's unclear what time exactly the incident unfolded, but the victim told KTLA that when she and her friend got to their seats, they accidentally spilled a bit of a drink on a man in front of them. 'We apologized immediately, but he yelled that it was intentional and ran off, leaving his companion behind,' she told The Festive Owl, a music news outlet who first reported the woman's story. 'We apologized to her and thought it was over.' Unfortunately, unidentified concertgoer returned about a half hour later, began screaming at the victim and her friends, threatening violence and while she said she tried deescalating the situation by apologizing again, the man punched her in the face, knocking her unconscious and causing significant bleeding. In footage of the violent attack, the man is seen launching into a group of people and throwing at least five punches, while someone behind him attempts to pull him out of the crowd. At one point in the video, the victim can be seen sitting on the ground, head tilted down as her fiancé, who also reportedly took some blows to the head, attempted to shield her. Missing California mother and baby found dead in SUV submerged in water No one is coming to a concert for that interaction,' Ethan Dubone, who was at the show that night, told KTLA. 'Everyone is coming for a good time.' Since the footage has gone viral, many have complained that the venue did a less than stellar job of managing the sold-out stadium show. 'Among the long laundry list of complaints was crowd crushing in tunnels, people pushing in overcrowded stairs, aggressive drunk people, arguments, fans blocking exits, incredibly long shuttle lines, and, sadly, assault,' the independent Los Angeles-based music blog Grimy Goods reported. Another concert attendee that evening was Christina Molina who, along with her daughter, was seated a few rows behind the victim. 'I literally had people pressed up against my back, all of them blocking that entire walkway,' she told KTLA. 'So, crowd control was nonexistent.' Not only were the aisles jam packed, according to Molina, she said she saw people openly doing drugs and wonders if crush of the huge crowd mixed with drug and alcohol use was a factor in the violent beating. 'I've never seen any venue that has allowed the people to stand there in the walkways. It's a hazard,' she added. 'There were multiple security vendors working the venue. It wasn't just one vendor, it was multiples, and the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing.' As for the victim who is back home in Arizona, she said she is seriously bruised and sore but expects to fully recover. She has also been in contact with police, who confirmed that they are actively trying to identify him. KTLA has reached out to Rose Bowl officials to ask about venue security policies and is awaiting a response.
