BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Vicky Pattison suffers painful health issue days into rehearsals and admits 'it's hard'

The Geordie Shore icon said "I feel like I've been hit by a car" as she said she's in a lot of pain just days into the gruelling practice routines.
Strictly Come Dancing's Vicky Pattison has been left in major pain just days into rehearsals for the BBC dance show after her feet took a beating during the gruelling early practice routines. The Geordie Shore icon has been busy preparing for the new season of Strictly, which is set to return next month, however it's already not looking good as she showed off her injuries.

The 37-year-old has taken to Instagram to share snaps of her feet in an agonising state after just one week of rehearsals. Uploading a snap of the back of her blistered pink heel, which looked worse for wear, she wrote: "And so it begins," along with a crying and laughing emoji.

Vicky's cut up feet had fans feeling squeamish as she explained how she was feeling in a second upload, admitting that she felt like she had been "hit by a car". She wrote: "Our first @bbcstrictly rehearsal... The start of the day versus... the end.

"It certainly was a baptism of fire lads... that's for sure! If I was doubting my ability before.. then I REALLY am now!!! Dancing is SO HARD!"
Vicky went on to heap praise upon Strictly's professional dancing team as she exclaimed: "No wonder those pros are all drop dead gorgeous. I feel like I've been hit by a car and I've already got blisters.. WTF???"
She added: "A serious newfound appreciation for everyone who's ever taken part! BUT... what an amazing day, the team are incredible, the celebs are so wonderful ,and the pros are an absolute joy.
"If I hang around long enough... I think I'll really love my new family. I'm off to think about my life choices and apologise to all the fellas I stepped all over today!"

Vicky's post came after Game of Thrones star Kristian Nairn was announced as the 15th celebrity on this year's Strictly line up.
The full line up of contestants for the upcoming series include former Love Island star Dani Dyer, actress Alex Kingston, EastEnders star Balvinder Sopal, legendary footballer Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, TikTokker George Clarke, Drag Race star La Voix, model Ellie Goldstein, and rugby star Chris Robshaw.

They will also be joined by Gladiators star Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, also known as Nitro, The Apprentice contestant Thomas Skinner, Good Morning Britain's Ross King, Lioness Karen Carney and Neighbours actor Stefan Dennis.
Meanwhile judges, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke are all returning to the panel for another year. Hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly will also be reprising their roles.

Strictly 2025 will come as the BBC programmes' 23rd series with the show set to return in September.
The show's return comes after Strictly has just faced a fresh scandal after claims of cocaine use by two stars with reports suggesting their substance use was an open secret on the show.
It follows a turbulent few years of controversial allegations including backstage bullying, misconduct claims and several stars being axed or suspended by the BBC as a result of their behaviour.

Sitting in his garden, the comedian and TV presenter shared a video showing multiple weeds that have grown up through the artificial grass in random spots as well as along the side of it. Paddy McGuinness calls out 'cow.l,boy' builders who worked on his garden Disclaimer: this TikTok video contains some strong language In the TikTok video, Paddy said: 'I had an artificial lawn put down about a year or two ago and I've gotta say, it's been brilliant. 'Kids have loved it, no mud, no mess, everyone's happy. But over the last four or five months, I've noticed a lot of problems with it.' After pointing out the several weeds, he goes on to show some patches that have appeared, saying: 'All these mad yellow and orange patches everywhere.' Sighing, he later says: 'Job's gone wrong.' He explained he'd tried to contact the company who installed the artificial grass but hasn't been able to get any response. Frustrated, he said: 'F****** cowboys. Why's everyone out to shaft you? Can no one just offer a service and it be right? 'Listen, if you've used a company who lay these kind of lawns and you're happy with it, let me know. I don't want to put it down again if it's gonna be screwed in another year or two and changing colour and weeds everywhere and dips in it and all that pony.' Recommended reading: He explained that he wasn't asking for someone to do it for free and that he'd pay for the service: 'I'll pay you, do a fantastic job, and be gone.' Paddy also requested that the company that fits it teaches him how to keep it looking nice in future. Check your wallets now for rare £10 banknote that could sell for £3,600

It's always worth checking your pockets as there could be a hidden gem worth thousands hiding in there. Now one collector revealed the £10 note which holds a value of £3,600 Whether you're an avid collector or check your stash sporadically, it's always crucial as you never know what the one penny that's "rarest in UK history" could sell for. Rare coins are always worth keeping an eye on since they could sell for £2,500. ‌ Now it's not just coins turning heads online, but even your banknotes too. Instagram user @CoinCollectingWizard, who boasts 30,600 followers on his social media platform, unveiled a series of coins, along with a £10 which you should look out for in your collection. He started the post: "Did you know that rare coins and error coins can be hiding in your everyday change?" ‌ In the caption, he continued: "Some coins are worth hundreds or even thousands if they have: ‌ "Low mintage – limited edition coins like commemoratives or special releases. "Minting errors – rotation errors, double strikes, missing details, or misprints. "Unique designs – special series." Other coins the collector mentioned in the post were the Kew Gardens 50p, the Wrestling 50p coin from the London 2012 collection and the bronze 20p. The collector claimed these coins might look ordinary at first glance but could be a "hidden treasure". ‌ He continued: "Always take a moment to check the date, design, and condition – it could pay off!" The Bank of England launched its £10 note featuring Jane Austen back in 2017. It's worth remembering banknotes are desirable when you find a specific serial number. For example, the £10 notes with AA serial numbers could earn you the big bucks. ‌ ChangeChecker revealed the serial numbers on a Jane Austen £10 note can be valuable for collectors, particularly if it matches specific dates related to the author. Key dates include: Her birthday - 16/12/1775 Her death - 18/07/1817 The publication date of Pride and Prejudice - 28/01/1813 ‌ Collectors are also interested in notes with low serial numbers, especially ones which begin with AA01. This serial number is when the first notes were printed, with AA01 000001 being the very first note. Meanwhile other notable serial numbers include: JA01 JA75 JA17 Any "ladder" or recurring number sequences (for example, 001122, 012345) can also be of interest Think you own one of these in your stash? It's always worth getting advice from a professional who can have it valued for you.
