Married At First Sight's Awhina Rutene and Billy Belcher continue to fuel romance rumours as they appear to go Instagram official on date night
Married At First Sight stars Awhina Rutene and Billy Belcher have sent the rumour mill into overdrive after enjoying a cosy date night in Perth.
The former TV bride, 30, shared a series of loved-up snaps on Instagram with her co-star Billy, 31, during an outing to The Garden in Perth on Wednesday - further igniting speculation that their friendship has turned romantic.
In one mirror selfie taken in an elevator, Awhina looked sensational in a figure-hugging black mini dress with long sleeves, her sleek brunette hair cascading past her shoulders.
Beside her, Billy cut a rugged figure in a sleeveless black top that showed off his tattooed arms, as he embraced Awhina from behind and beamed at the camera.
Another photo showed the MAFS beauty sipping a glass of red wine at the trendy bar, while a cheeky Billy hid behind a drinks menu.

Awhina captioned the post with a telling phrase: 'I'll keep this one', suggesting she's holding on tight to her new beau.
Fans of the reality show erupted with excitement in the comments, thrilled that the pair many felt should have been matched on the show might have finally found love with each other.
'OMFG this is everything I love u two!' one follower gushed.
'The wife swap worked,' another declared, cheekily referencing the controversial partner-swapping scandal that unfolded during the experiment.
'We are absolutely HERE for this!!!!' added a third, as dozens more expressed their approval.
Many viewers have long suspected Awhina and Billy's chemistry, noting that the MAFS experts got it wrong by not pairing them in the first place.
This flurry of fan enthusiasm comes after months of speculation about the duo's relationship.
Both Awhina and Billy are based in Western Australia, and they struck up a close bond during the marriage experiment.
Their respective on-screen marriages famously imploded when it was revealed that Awhina's TV husband, Adrian Araouzou, and Billy's wife, Sierah Swepstone, had been secretly meeting up behind their backs during filming.
The betrayal left Awhina and Billy heartbroken, and the pair chose to leave the experiment separately amidst the drama.
It comes after Awhina opened up about what it was really like being married to her TV husband Adrian following the shock finale.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail Australia, the single mum did not hold back as she revealed just how uncomfortable she felt around her match.
'His behaviour before the show was questionable. His behaviour during the show... very questionable! Poor, poor, poor!' Awhina explained.
She said she was finding it difficult to permanently cut ties with Adrian because after the dating experiment finished he kept trying to contact her on social media.
'I blocked him, not the other way around... Then he added me on Snapchat and I blocked him! Then he added me on TikTok. I'm grateful I've closed all that,' she said.
Awhina added she believed it was a failing of the production staff for pairing her with such an ill-suited match - and she felt pressure to remain on the show despite wanting to leave.
'I feel like they failed me. When I chose to stay, I genuinely felt peer-pressured into making that decision,' she said.
She said she was working hard to completely cut Adrian from her life and hoped to never speak his name again.
'After this week, I will never mention Adrian's name again. We did this experience together and it was hard... I will happily never speak of him again,' she said.
Awhina said her 'final straw' was when Adrian went online and made comments about both her and her twin sister Cleo.
'He's not a child. Stop looking at this man like a child. He would go online and attack my character and my sister. It's relentless,' she said.
'He's choosing every day to make these poor decisions, he has zero self-awareness. You are rewarding bad behaviour by helping him, if he wants to drown, let him.'
Awhina described Adrian's behaviour as selfish and emotionally manipulative.
'He told me what I could and couldn't say. I felt alone,' she explained.
'There were moments of kindness – but they only came after he'd done something wrong. It felt performative... I kept giving him lifelines.'
Awhina admits that viewers missed some of the high points in their relationship, but insists the low moments were deeply hurtful.
'It wasn't all bad. We had some real highs. But the lows were so low. Unfortunately, what aired didn't show any of the good. So people didn't understand why I stayed,' she said.
After filming ended, Awhina says she tried to remain kind and supportive, keeping communication open because she felt sorry for Adrian.
Now removed from the chaos of filming and away from Adrian, Awhina says she's begun to heal.
'I think I've got my glow back. It's amazing what cutting off someone toxic can do for your soul,' she said.
She also revealed she had originally applied for the show alongside her twin sister Cleo, who pulled out due to work commitments.
'We went through the whole casting process together. That made it exciting. I truly believed my forever person was waiting at the end of the aisle,' she explained.
Instead, she says she was paired with someone who didn't align with her values or desires for a future.

Andy Lee and Rebecca Harding spotted jetting into Melbourne after New York trip...as the comedian goes straight back to 'work' on mammoth mansion project
Andy Lee cut a casual figure on Saturday, when he was spotted with partner Rebecca Harding, jetting into Melbourne after a New York jaunt. The funnyman, 43, and Rebecca, 35, were in the Big Apple to pay a visit to Andy's Aussie-themed Manhattan pub, Old Mates. With Andy at the helm of the venture, it is backed by an owner's group that includes the likes of Hamish Blake, tennis star Ash Barty, surfing legend Mick Fanning, Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins and Hollywood A-lister Hugh Jackman. Andy was dressed for on the long haul flight, wearing a pair of loose-fitting navy blue tracksuit pants. He also wore a crisp, white long sleeve polo shirt, and a pair of well-worn white sneakers. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Finishing his flight ensemble, the Hundred host wore a brown and white Cherry LA trucker cap. Rebecca, meanwhile was similarly attired in a pair of grey track suit pants and a white top that she wore under a thigh-length coat. Wearing a black headband to keep her locks of her face, Rebecca was also spotted wheeling a silver suitcase and hand luggage. Andy, meanwhile appeared more interested in his phone, smiling as he scrolled and walked. He did not let jet lag get to him either, getting back on the tools at his ambitious Melbourne mansion renovation. He shared a photo to Instagram on Saturday afternoon that showed him happily posing with construction crew at the build site. While the workers, who appeared to have been rendering a cement wall looked suitably dirty, Andy, who offered a heart thumbs up, was conspicuously spotless. 'Me and the boys got the walls done in a day. I certainly don't want to take all the credit, it was a team effort,' he captioned the image. The funnyman, 43, and Rebecca, 35, were in the Big Apple to pay a visit to Andy's Aussie-themed Manhattan pub, Old Mates His followers were quick to flood the comments with suggestions that Andy was only there for the 'photo op.' 'Good to see the shoes are nice and dirty,' one offered, commenting on Andy's pristine footwear. Another chimed in with a cheeky: 'Andy rocking up just in time for smoko.' Hopefully they kept the noise down as Daily Mail Australia exclusively revealed, earlier this month, that some neighbours are less-than-enamoured with the protracted build. 'It's noisy. It's been noisy... It's frustrating because it's been going for a year and we've still got a couple more years to go,' one disgruntled person said. Though they went on to add the 'earthworks' was the noisiest portion of the build, the neighbour said nowadays it has 'actually settled down quite a bit'. Andy and Rebecca have grand plans for their Italianate manor, with the planned renovation worth an estimated $5million having begun in 2023. The comedian has been hard at work on the derelict Melbourne mansion, called Ravenswood, he bought for $8.5million in 2021, in a Block-style rebuild. The couple won council approval for their development application back in June 2023. Plans for the site include adding a second building which will be connected by a tunnel to the original Italianate mansion, which was built around 1876. Other highlights planned for the 1,950 square metre holding include a home theatre, a gym, a swimming pool and a 'mega bedroom'. In a statement to the Herald Sun, Boroondara Council confirmed it had issued a notice of decision to grant a planning permit for the Yarra Grove address. One neighbour told the Sydney Morning Herald in December the construction cacophony had caused the couple to lose 'a lot of community goodwill'. 'The noise is just horrendous,' the disgruntled neighbour told the publication.

I wed a Nigerian toyboy 43 years my junior – people think I'm ‘crazy', call me his ‘grandma' & say he's with me for cash
A 68-YEAR-OLD woman has revealed that she said 'I Do' with her Nigerian toyboy, who is 43 years her junior. When Kay, 68, and Ablack, 25, first connected on Facebook, they had no idea that a simple social media like would lead to marriage. 4 4 4 4 But now, the couple have opened up on their unique relationship and explained how just three days after meeting in real life, Kay's toyboy popped the question. Revealing all to Truly, on an episode of Love Don't Judge, the couple admitted that they are constantly stared at in the street and Kay has even been accused of being Ablack's ' grandma '. Opening up about how their relationship first blossomed, Kay recognised: "He liked something I posted. He went from somebody who liked my post to my very best friend, I could tell him everything. It just kept getting stronger and stronger." After three failed marriages, Kay was initially 'very leery about being scammed ' by the youngster. Not only was the mother called 'crazy' by many, but before long, the couple had tied the knot, with Ablack being Kay's fourth husband. Despite falling in love, the couple constantly face judgement over their age gap, with Kay being 43 years older than Ablack. But Kay beamed: 'I do not feel old when I'm around him. I feel very young, like a teenager.' With Ablack based in Nigeria and Kay over in the US, the pair have had to make the relationship work with the geographical distance. However, Ablack knows that the pair are destined to be, as he acknowledged: "A prophet told me that I'm going to get married to a white woman and here she is.' But although destiny brought them together, not everyone agrees with their relationship, as Ablack said, "Some people say, 'she's old enough to be your mum '. Some say, 'you're married to your grandma', 'she's too old for you'. I'm 20 and my man is 63 - people say he looks like Shrek and I must be in it for the money, but I'd still love him if he was a cleaner 'Anywhere we go, people take pictures of us.' Not only this, but people have even accused Ablack of getting 'married for a US green card '. Clearly unfazed by the judgement, Kay, who is often referred to as Ablack's 'sugar mummy', said: "I've never felt love like this before. "This is the one I'm supposed to be with, I just had to wait a long time for him to be born. 'He treats me like a Queen. I'm his priority.' Shortly after their engagement, the couple welcomed a son and married in 2000. Social media users react Social media users were left stunned by the couple's age gap relationship - and nasty trolls were out in full force in the comments on the YouTube clip. One person said: 'As a middle aged woman who's probably close to her age, this makes me uncomfortable.' Another added: 'The prophet"s name is Visa.' A third warned: 'Be careful girl. Scammers can be 'in love' too!' At the same time, someone else wrote: 'Hope she has a lot of money to feed his whole family, why else would a 25 year old be with a woman in her 60s.'
