Structure Fire in Lynchburg
It happened at the Lakeside Plaza Apartments, where people were trapped inside the building.
LFD says the occupants were safely removed and no injuries have been reported yet.
However, two pet cats were killed in the fire.
Firefighters arrived on the scene Tuesday evening to find heavy smoke coming from the second floor of the building.
LFD says the residents of the building will be displaced, as the building is without power.
