Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell talk 'Thunderbolts*'
Sebastian Stan and Wyatt Russell tell USA TODAY what it was like returning to the Marvel family in 'Thunderbolts*.'
The Avengers need more time to reassemble.
Two upcoming Marvel films, including the highly anticipated films "Avengers: Doomsday" and "Avengers: Secret Wars," have been delayed, Reuters and Variety report. Disney announced on May 22 that "Doomsday" would be postponed from May 1, 2026, to Dec. 18, 2026, while "Secret Wars" would be pushed back from May 2, 2027, to Dec. 17, 2027.
"Doomsday" is set to bring Robert Downey Jr. back to the franchise as villain Doctor Doom, Marvel revealed at Comic-Con in July. Downey now joins a star-studded list of returning names, as seen in a more than five-hourlong livestream in March.
Marvel's 'Thunderbolts*' stars are ready for their 'Avengers' close-up
The cast list indicated "Doomsday," now in production, will be an ambitious crossover between Marvel's "Avengers" franchise and the "X-Men" series, with numerous original "X-Men" stars returning to reprise their roles for the first time in years. But the stacked cast includes actors from virtually every corner of the Marvel world, from the Fantastic Four to the Thunderbolts and everyone in between.
The cast, so far, includes Channing Tatum, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Kelsey Grammer, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, Pedro Pascal, Simu Liu, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Winston Duke, Paul Rudd, Danny Ramirez, Wyatt Russell, Florence Pugh David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen and Lewis Pullman.
Marvel reveals star-studded 'Avengers: Doomsday' cast in live stream: Who's returning?
Reports previously indicated Captain America actor Chris Evans would be returning for "Doomsday," but he was absent from the announcement stream. Other Marvel stars notably missing from the list included Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.

Frank Grillo Talks About Why His DC Character Has Been So Much More Fulfilling Than His Marvel Role Ever Was — GeekTyrant
Frank Grillo is one of the few in the club of those who have played characters in both the DC and Marvel Universes. He played Brock Rumlow, a.k.a. Crossbones, in the Marvel movies Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War (2016). He returned to voice the character in the series What If…? , and appeared in Avengers: Endgame . Though his appearance was brief, he's kept himself busy in other franchises, namely DC, and he's a lot happier with this arc over there than he ever was at Marvel. During a recent appearance on the Tulsa King panel at Fan Expo Dallas, moderated and hosted by ScreenRant, Grillo looked back on his time with the MCU, while sharing why he is having a better time being part of the DCU franchise. After discussing the MCU's Crossbones, Grillo explained what the upside is to playing a character like Flag Sr. in the DCU while working together with James Gunn: 'Rick Flag Sr... It was unfortunate because Crossbones isn't onscreen that much, and this is years ago. People love that character, and Marvel seems to have reused every other character except Crossbones. 'Now he's popping up in Spider-Man comics and Daredevil comics because he's a great villain, so I was expecting to have a lot of fun with it. But unfortunately, he perished kind of quickly. But I love working with James Gunn. ''I did the voice for Creature Commandos, and then I'm in Peacemaker, which is coming up in August. And before that, it's Superman with Rick Flag. So, it's different; it's more of an adventure than the Marvel stuff was.' Grillo's Flag Sr. makes his live-action debut with Superman in July, before returning in Peacemaker season 2.

Vision: Schitt's Creek Star Joins MCU Show, Character Has Connection to Iron Man
The upcoming MCU show has added a new cast member. Emily Hampshire is best known for playing Stevie Budd in Schitt's Creek, the CBC Television series that aired from 2015 to 2020 and also stars Dan Levy, Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, and Annie Murphy. She also has a leading role in Amazon Prime Video's The Rig, which has so far run for two seasons. Now, Hampshire is officially joining the MCU as she'll star opposite Paul Bettany in the forthcoming Vision show, which serves as a spin-off to Marvel's WandaVision. Per Deadline, Hampshire is believed to be playing 'the sophisticated artificial intelligence E.D.I.T.H. (Even Dead, I'm The Hero), Tony Stark's augmented reality security and defense system. In the MCU, E.D.I.T.H. was originally created by Stark and bequeathed to Peter Parker following Stark's death. It provides access to Stark Industries' global satellite network along with an arsenal of missiles and drones.' The E.D.I.T.H. character was originally voiced by Dawn Michelle King in Marvel Studios' Spider-Man: Far From Home. During that movie, Peter briefly let Quentin Beck/Mysterio access E.D.I.T.H. before reclaiming the technology for himself; however, it was then confiscated by the United States Department of Damage Control. Whether or not Hampshire will physically appear in the show or is just voicing the character remains unclear at this time. In addition to Bettany and Hampshire, the cast of the Vision MCU show includes James Spader as Ultron, T'Nia Miller as Jocasta, Faran Tahir as Raza, Todd Stashwick, and Ruaridh Mollica. Plot details for the Marvel Television show remain under wraps at this time, though it will presumably follow the White Vision character who emerged at the end of WandaVision. A premiere date has not yet been set.
