Two alpha males go head-to-head as tensions rise

Perth Nowa day ago
In the wake of an explosive Couple's Cove catch-up, Sam and Emanuel are no closer to squashing their beef.
And fingers are being pointed at Sam's relationship with Jess after the pair departed lunch early to escape the noise.
However, standing up for her man, Jess earned back some respect from her husband who had earlier felt a lack of trust.
But that could be lost in an instant when photos from their past, and their phones, are delivered via the prickly orange crate.
Georgia is in hysterics when she sees confronting images depicting Chad's past life as a stripper.
'Who cares!' she says, 'We're living in the present, we're not living in the past.'

'I'll go deep. I'll be on their 2011 photos,' she admits, before doing just that on her husband's phone and failing to see any red flags.
Though the tables turn when Brie shows Byron her dating app profile, admitting she has probably '200 conversations open'.
'She's a classic example of not using dating platforms for the right seasons,' Byron tells producers, offered a glimpse into her commitment issues.
Re-visiting the matter hours later, Byron tells Brie he thinks she's not ready for a relationship. And she doesn't take it well.
'I'm pissed off,' she tells producers, 'Where's the flare?'
Initial concerns of inadequacy emerge for Dani, who peruses Emanuel's Instagram profile and is intimidated by his 'curated' feed and easy access to women through his music.
'It's the perfect environment for hook-ups,' she tells him.
But Emanuel insists he's passed sleeping with 'groupies' and says he can imagine Dani joining him at shows.
For Sam and Jess, who have had zero trouble landing dates on the outside, it presents an opportunity to learn how they sell themselves to the opposite sex.
Laughing along as Sam captions each dating photo aloud, he feels that relationship coach Jess shows a 'poor reflection of herself' online.
'I'm going to be brutally honest. If this was in the Hinge world and I came across it, I probably would hit 'cross',' he says.
After the initial shock, Jess admits to feeling grateful he was honest with her.
At Amy and Mike's camp, the discussion over dating apps leads to Amy considering her 'ammo' — X-rated intel passed on from Emily early on — when her beau insists he deleted his profiles months prior. Not everyone is happy at the girls' day, with some relationships attacked. Credit: Seven Network
With Boys and Girls day scheduled, drama threatens to re-ignite between Sam and Emanuel as couples split into groups.
Amid question marks over whether Sam will show up at all, the mystery man arrives with the best intentions and attempts to clear the air.
'I wouldn't mind getting the ugly stuff out of the way first so we can enjoy our date,' Sam says to the group, glancing over to Emanuel.
Explaining he needed to walk away at their previous encounter to avoid further conflict, he apologises to Emanuel and they put it behind them.
And Mike seeks counsel from Chad who advises him of an alternative route to winning over Amy's heart.
At the girls' spa day, Brie tells the group she was made to feel like a 'dirty hoe' by Byron for sharing her dating history.
Switching the spotlight to Jess, Amy expresses her concerns of Sam's many 'red flags' and implores her to see the light.
But Jess hits back, saying she doesn't feel 'heard' by Amy, ironically.
When the group probes Amy for her feelings towards Mike, she says she wants to see the best of him, but her gut is telling her 'something's really off'.
Returning to their respective camps after a day apart, Sam is fed-up with the constant nagging at his relationship, but it appears to be only strengthening his bond with Jess.
Byron apologises to Brie for reacting unfairly, and she promises to start afresh despite still feeling offended by his initial response.
Mike's attempt to push Amy into taking the next step backfires when she says she's aware he and Emily matched on Hinge the day of their speed dating event.
'Apparently one of the first things you asked her was what underwear she's wearing,' Amy says, with Mike almost choking on his mouthful of water.
Asking what he can do to fix the situation, without coming clean on the accusation, it leaves the pair at an impasse.
Will they try to find a way forward, or a way out? Next episode's ultimatum will force them to make a tough decision.

Oprah Winfrey called to assist with Prince Harry's 'duck problem'

Oprah Winfrey was called to help Prince Harry with a "duck problem". The 71-year-old media mogul lives close to the Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, in California and she recalled rushing to the couple's aid over the Easter weekend when they discovered ducklings in their back yard but had nowhere suitable to settle them. Speaking to Kelly Ripa on her Let's Talk Off Camera podcast, Opera said: "I get a call from Harry, Prince Harry, on Easter Saturday, and he says, 'Sorry to bother you, O, but we have a duck problem here.' "A duck had come into their yard and laid their eggs and had these chicks. "And he said, 'Our pond is a stream, we don't have a pond, so can we bring the ducks over to your pond?' " Oprah agreed but asked Harry to wait because her best friend Gayle King's grandchildren were coming to visit and would like to see the spectacle, but the 40-year-old prince - who has Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, with wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex - insisted he needed to move the creatures immediately. She continued: "I said, 'Wait until I can get the kids to come down to the pond so they can see you put the ducks in the pond.' And he goes, 'No, we're coming right away, we're coming over!' " But the cute scene turnned to chaos when the "mama duck" fled and the trio had to chase her, providing the "funniest thing" Oprah had ever seen. She said: "As he opens the door, the mama duck flies out. And he's got all the baby ducks in a box. "We're chasing the mama duck who is in the front yard and has flown to the other side. We've got her ducks. Harry's running after, Meghan gets out, she's running after, chasing the mom and trying to get her to come back to her ducks. "And for like half an hour, we're running around with the ducks in a box. We have video. It's the funniest thing I've ever seen." Kelly joked the duck had been very shrewd in choosing a nesting spot. She laughed: "The ducks also hit the jackpot. "They're like, 'Wait a minute, we show up at Prince Harry's house and now we're at Oprah's!' Excuse me. That duck knew what it was doing when it laid its eggs." Meghan had shared a clip of the ducks on her Instagram page over Easter. She captioned the video: "Wishing you a Happy Easter full of love….and surprises!"

‘I know who they are': Wayne Carey blows up over viral toilet footage

Wayne Carey has been left seething after being filmed walking out of a bathroom in an alleged toilet tryst. The footage, filmed at Toorak Cellars in Armadale on Friday, shows a woman leave the bathroom before Carey walks out around 20 seconds later. As the recording unfolds one voice behind the camera can be heard saying 'she looks embarrassed' before a second ponders 'what's he doing in there?'. Carey and the woman in the video have both hit out at the footage with the premiership star labelling it cyber-bullying. Watch the viral footage of Wayne Carey in the video player above The 272-game player spoke about the footage with Sam Newman, stating he had been in contact with Victoria Police and the AFL Players association. 'Annoyed is the wrong word, I've gone through 10 different emotions in the last three days. One has been disbelief, that's not an emotion, but I've gone through disbelief, sadness, I've gone through anger,' Carey said on Newman's You Cannot be Serious podcast. 'I've had empathy, I've had all sorts of things go through this body and this mind. 'This woman has been thrown into this just because I could kick a footy. And you've got two vile, disturbing women who want to do this to another woman. 'That's all they were doing, they were slut-shaming another woman. If two men had done that they would be raked over hot coals, it would be the biggest story going around if that had occurred. But because it's two women doing it to another woman … you don't know what's going on, this other woman has had all sorts of stuff going in her life I've since found out.' The former North Melbourne icon said his partner, Jessica Paulke, have been in contact with the woman in the video and they had teamed up to hold those behind the footage accountable. 'I know who they are, the police know who they are, my lawyers know who they are. I have contacted these people just like the footballers have contacted these people because they've been abused online,' he said. 'You talk about vile and disgusting, what they have done and who they have affected by a few shits and giggles drinking their chardonnay sitting up there doing whatever. 'Once again I'm not going to name them because that would be as pathetic as what they are. I'll let the law take care of it.' Carey said what had happened should be looked at on the same level as when racist abuse is directed at players. 'It's gone through my mind a million times, 'what did they want to achieve?',' Carey said. 'What middle aged women would want to sit and film someone and for what purpose? But then make up a story about what occurred. 'If they really wanted to ruin someone's life they could have contacted Jess personally and said 'guess what I've just seen your partner come out of a toilet and a female came out 30 seconds in between so therefore they must have been doing something in that toilet together'. 'If that's what they wanted to do, if they wanted to ruin my life and her life and ruin my kids' lives, why didn't they just do that' Carey said he would be following through 'to the enth degree' to ensure a penalty is handed down. 'I could sit there and film people going in and out of toilets. Who does she think she is, Morgan Freeman narrating a wild life (documentary)? (She said) 'I heard people grunting like pigs'. Completely made up crap. 'These two women think it's OK to film her and slut shame her online and post it online. What sort of penalty should these two women get? 'We are speaking and we will follow this through to the enth degree. I'm blown away that women in their 40s could think this was a good idea. How would they explain this to their children? 'This is women being cruel to another woman. They have shamed another woman and it is so wrong. It happens far too often and it doesn't get called out. Men do it and it gets called out as it should. Let's see where this goes to from here.' The woman in the footage has also come out and condemned the actions of those who filmed the moment and shared it online. 'Shame on you women, we are better than that,' she said on social media. 'It did not happen, but that's not the point. It's time this narrative changed.'
