On Tenth Anniversary of Aggression… Yemen Confronts America & Strikes Heart of Zionist Entity

Saba Yemen26-03-2025

Sana'a – SABA – Report by Yahya Jarallah
As Yemen marks the tenth anniversary of the unjustified American-Saudi-Emirati aggression and blockade, the Yemeni people complete a decade under siege and bombardment—an aggression that has been the primary cause of the crises, suffering, and hardships that have affected all aspects of life in the country.
Despite the devastation and destruction of Yemen's infrastructure and economy, and the denial of 30 million Yemenis of their right to basic goods and services, the aggression has failed to break the spirit of the Yemeni people or derail their path to liberation, which began on September 21, 2014.
The True Purpose of the Aggression: Crushing the Revolution
From Washington, the capital of evil and the source of global terrorism, the war criminals announced their brutal aggression against the Yemeni people on March 26, 2015, under false pretexts that had no basis in reality.
It was never a secret that the primary objective of this aggression, spearheaded by Saudi Arabia and joined by over 17 nations, including the U.S. and the UK, was to crush the Yemeni revolution that had begun on September 21, 2014. Their goal was to subjugate Yemen once again, restoring it to the American-Saudi-Emirati sphere of influence, as it had been for decades.
All the false slogans and deceitful justifications used by the coalition to launch this war were merely a cover-up for their true aim:
- To kill Yemenis
- Destroy and occupy their country
- Eliminate their dream of freedom and independence
- Prevent them from building a sovereign Yemeni state
However, lies have short lifespans, and over the years, the truth has become clear. The coalition achieved nothing except:
- Killing, impoverishing, and starving Yemenis
- Occupying parts of Yemen
- Plundering its resources
- Wreaking havoc upon its land
Yemen: An Indomitable Power
Ten years of relentless bombing, destruction, and blockade have proven one undeniable fact: Yemen cannot be conquered. These years have also exposed the weakness of the aggressor nations, particularly Saudi Arabia, which believed it could:
- Crush Yemen with mercenaries
- Buy victory with billion-dollar arms deals
- Win the war in a matter of days
But the outcome was humiliating for them. Instead of achieving victory, they faced a resounding defeat, exposing their military incompetence and failed war strategy.
The aggressors miscalculated badly—they thought Yemen would be an easy conquest, but they were met with unshakable resistance from a people who only submit to God Almighty.
Achieving the Balance of Deterrence
Contrary to expectations, the aggression and blockade strengthened Yemen's military capabilities, leading to:
- Acquisition of advanced military expertise
- Development of indigenous weapons production
- Transition from a defensive stance to an offensive one
- Possession of strategic deterrence weapons capable of striking deep into the aggressor states
As a result, the Yemeni Armed Forces successfully defeated the coalition, and Yemen now has the capability to:
- Strike any vital target within aggressor states
- Regain full control over its territorial waters
- End American-Israeli dominance over regional seas
The coalition leaders never imagined that Yemen would reach this level of military strength. Now, after achieving a historic victory, Yemen is at the forefront of defending the Palestinian cause, engaging in direct confrontation with the U.S. and targeting the Zionist entity in support of Gaza.
A Global Shock: Yemen's Role in Supporting Palestine
Yemen has emerged as an unwavering pillar of support for Palestine, defying expectations by directly challenging the U.S. and Israel. It has not only confronted the Zionist entity but has also engaged in direct military confrontation with the U.S., despite its global naval supremacy.
Observers and analysts worldwide have acknowledged that under the leadership of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, Yemen has set an extraordinary example of courage and sacrifice, inspiring liberation movements across the region and beyond.
America's Failure: A Desperate Attempt to Save Face
Today, America continues its aggression by targeting Yemen's civilian infrastructure and economic facilities, but this is nothing more than a repetition of past failures. The U.S. will gain nothing from these desperate strikes, except further disgrace and defeat.
The Yemeni people and global free nations view the American aggression against Yemen as clear evidence of Yemen's influence in supporting Palestine. Despite U.S. and Israeli efforts, they have failed to stop Yemen's strategic blockade of the Zionist entity or prevent direct strikes on its occupied territories.
From a Dark Anniversary to a Day of Resilience
Thanks to the heroic resistance of the Yemeni people, March 26 has transformed from a dark anniversary into a national day of resilience. It is now an occasion to honor the sacrifices made by Yemenis and to share their stories of triumph despite unimaginable suffering.
From military advancements—including ballistic missiles, drones, and advanced defense systems, to economic self-sufficiency in agriculture and industry, Yemen has emerged as a pioneering model of defiance against global imperialism.
Yemen: The Graveyard of Invaders
For ten years, the Yemeni people have proven their unyielding resolve, drawing strength from their faith in God and their deep connection to their land. History has long known Yemen as "the graveyard of invaders," and this reality remains unchanged.
Today, it is evident to all that the Saudi-Emirati-American-Zionist war on Yemen has failed miserably. The aggressors' dreams of subjugating Yemen have crumbled into dust.
There is only one path forward for the aggressors:
1. Withdraw from Yemen
2. Lift the blockade
3. Pay reparations for the crimes and destruction they have committed
Otherwise, they will continue to face more humiliation, defeats, and devastating losses at the hands of a Yemen that refuses to bow to tyranny.

Decline in Humanitarian Funding in Yemen Signals Imminent Famine Threatening Millions

Aden – International aid organizations have warned of an imminent humanitarian catastrophe in Yemen, following a sharp decline in humanitarian funding. The funding shortfall risks plunging the country into an unprecedented famine amid ongoing war and economic collapse. The World Food Programme (WFP) announced the suspension of its support for moderate malnutrition treatment in Houthi-controlled areas due to depleted supplies and lack of funding—placing millions of children and women at risk. UN agencies are also facing major difficulties in delivering aid because of sanctions on local banks and a crippling liquidity crisis. As a result, more than 75% of humanitarian assistance has been halted since the beginning of the year. Yemen's Prime Minister, Salem Bin Buraik, urged the international community to increase support for the government's response plan and provide sustainable funding to bridge the financial gap. He warned that more than 20 million Yemenis are struggling to secure their daily food needs. This funding decline comes as the country continues to reel from over a decade of war, with no comprehensive political solution in sight—bringing the threat of famine closer than ever before.

Yemen : Houthis Launch Arrest Campaign in Sana'a over Use of "Starlink" Internet

Sana'a – June 11, 2025 The Houthi group has carried out a wave of arrests targeting dozens of civilians in the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, over the use of "Starlink" satellite internet devices, according to local human rights sources. Reports indicate that at least 54 people, including electronics shop owners, university students, and academics, were detained during raids across several districts such as Al-Sabeen, Ma'een, and Azal. The campaign also involved extensive searches and seizures of electronic equipment and the imposition of hefty fines on citizens. A human rights activist in Sana'a—speaking on condition of anonymity—stated that 'the Houthis aim to fully monopolize the communications sector and suppress any means of accessing the internet beyond their control.' In a controversial move, students and professors at the Faculty of Computer Science at Sana'a University were forced to attend events warning against the 'dangers of satellite internet,' a step that observers say violates academic freedom and amounts to a form of censorship. International and local human rights organizations have called for the immediate release of the detainees and the end of what they've described as a 'repressive campaign,' labeling the measures a blatant violation of human rights and freedom of expression. It's worth noting that satellite internet services like "Starlink" have gained popularity in regions suffering from poor connectivity or monopolized internet access, offering a vital lifeline for residents to stay connected with the outside world.

The graduates chanted slogans of allegiance to the Prophet and Imam Ali, alongside chants against American and Israeli enemies, and denouncing traitors and agents. The parade, attended by local and social figures, showcased the graduates' acquired skills, faith awareness, and readiness to confront "forces of global arrogance." The graduates renewed their mandate to the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to make choices supporting the Palestinian resistance. They affirmed their readiness to sacrifice everything to support the oppressed in Gaza and wage the battle of "the promised conquest and holy jihad" until the liberation of all Palestine.
