Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson had ‘strangest sex scene' in Naked Gun reboo

Metro3 days ago
Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson have left us all in total confusion over whether or not they are actually dating, after being hit with romance rumours.
The pair have shared the screen in the new Naked Gun reboot, which is released in cinemas on August 1, but are rumoured to have taken their chemistry off camera.
According to insiders, the Taken actor, 73, and the Baywatch icon, 58, are said to be 'enjoying each other's company' and are clearly 'smitten'.
Although they have remained coy about the status of their relationship, they did get up close and personal on the set of their new comedy, with writers Dan Gregor and Doug Mand sharing that it was probably the 'strangest sex scene' the stars had filmed.
Speaking to Metro at the New York premiere, they shed light on the most absurd thing they asked Liam – who plays the main role of officer Frank Drebin Jr – to do in the role, Dan didn't hold back.
'This is a spoiler, but he has a great … very strange love scene that I believe has to be the strangest sex scene of his life,' he told us.

'Every day was the strangest thing,' Doug recalled. 'Every scene is like, 'Liam Neeson is doing this?''
'We didn't even have an intimacy coordinator for that, no one knew how to do it,' Dan quipped.
Thankfully, there actually was an intimacy coordinator present for the shoot, with one particularly bizarre montage showing Frank and Beth (Pamela) taking their relationship to the next level – where they were joined in the bedroom by a snowman.
Despite the absurd set-up, Liam shared that those moments were actually his favourite to film, adding more fuel to the romance speculation.
In a photoshoot and interview with You Magazine, where they were reportedly 'all over each other' the Love Actually star admitted that 'the sex scenes' with Pamela were his highlight.
Speaking of the coordinator, he revealed: 'I'd never had one before. But she was in the background. There was no kind of, 'Okay, excuse me!'''.
'She knew when to walk away,' Pamela joked, pretending to be an exasperated intimacy coordinator, throwing her hands in the air and storming off, continuing the bit by adding: ''I can't take this!''
'She said, 'This is too hot for me. I'm going for coffee,'' Liam added, while also referring to his co-star's audition tape as 'incredibly sexy' and 'funny'.
Both have remained publicly single over the last few years, with The Last Showgirl star Pamela stating in September that she was 'much happier' on her own, but added that not being in a relationship after five marriages was 'tough'.
Meanwhile Liam hasn't seriously dated anyone since his wife, Parent Trap actress Natasha Richardson, tragically died at the age of 45 after sustaining head injuries in a skiing accident in 2009.
During a TV appearance on the Today show, they clearly had some fun with the speculation when host Craig Melvin asked: 'What's the deal here? You're both single right now. There's clearly chemistry. Are you two an item?'
'What?! I don't understand the question,' Pamela coyly replied while Liam jokingly shook his head.
However, a source shared with People Magazine that they are 'smitten', insisting: 'It's a budding romance in the early stages.
'It's sincere, and it's clear they're smitten with each other.'
They added that the stars are 'enjoying each other's company'.
'I'm madly in love with her,' Liam said of Pamela in a previous interview while promoting the film.
'With Pamela, first off, I'm madly in love with her. She's just terrific to work with,' he said. 'I can't compliment her enough, I'll be honest with you.
'No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She's funny and so easy to work with. She's going to be terrific in the film.'
Meanwhile Pamela described her castmate as the 'perfect gentleman'.
'He brings out the best in you… with respect, kindness and depth of experience. It was an absolute honor to work with him,' she raved, despite having entered the rehearsal room 'shaking' with nerves, intimidated to meet him.
'Once we got going he's such a gentleman, he's such a sweetheart. He's so giving and generous and we're very complimentary and supportive. You can't help but fall in love with Liam.'
Fans' eyebrows are sky-high at this point, with social media flooded with questions over whether they're the real deal.
'Are they in love or something?' asked @kingshagrin. That is the question.
Their overtly flirty interviews could be part of a whole marketing campaign for The Naked Gun, their sequel to slapstick 1980s and 90s comedy of the same name.
In it, Liam plays head of the police squad Frank Drebin Jr who must follow in his father's footsteps and save the world, with Pamela as 'femme fatale' Beth, who goes to the police for help after her brother's murder.
A previous promotional video for reboot showed them hamming up their off-screen flirtation, very much tongue in cheek.
When asked how they were building chemistry for the role, Liam innocently responded, 'Nothing out of the ordinary,' before a clip showed the pair in various romantic settings which were very much out of the ordinary. More Trending
He was shown putting his arm around her in front of an ocean sunset, the duo laughed in a fairy-lit restaurant over spaghetti, and danced in the moonlight, even going so far as doing trust falls.
After all these clips played out like a romantic comedy montage, it cut to Pamela sitting next to Liam in the interview setting, as she said: 'Yeah, just the usual.'

Emmerdale legend comes to Dylan's rescue - and he has a lot of explaining to do

Dylan Penders' (Fred Kettle) return to Emmerdale has been less than ideal for the lad – instead of getting himself clean in rehab as intended, he's returned as one of drug lord Ray's (Joe Absolom) lackies. He's immediately found himself in a life-threatening situation too – having been stabbed in the leg by Kyle (Huey Quinn) with a dirty pitchfork as he attempted to do over one of Moira's (Natalie J Robb) barns. Now that wound is infected and Dylan can't ask for any help. When pushed by April (Amelia Flanagan), he refuses to see a doctor, instead choosing to hide out at the Cricket Pavillion. As a doctor won't work, he and April concoct a dodgy plan B – to raid the vets for supplies and fix him themselves. Because who needs six years of a medical degree when you can watch how to sort a deadly wound on YouTube? They sneak into the surgery to get their supplies when they're caught red handed – by Paddy (Dominic Brunt). Thankfully, Paddy is in his good Samaritan mode and, shocked by the state of Dylan, sets to work sorting the wound. He then offers Dylan a bed for the night. But he's getting himself involved in something serious, risking his registration to help the homeless lad. And worse, he risks the wrath of Mandy (Lisa Riley) and Marlon (Mark Charnock) when they arrive. They've all got such faith in Dylan and have no idea the dark circles he's now mixing with. Later, Ray tells Dylan that he's got more work from him and when Mandy is busy, Dylan reveals a stash of drugs in his backpack. The next morning, while eating breakfast with Paddy, Dylan ignores Ray's texts, a dangerous move. In the Woolpack Paddy, Rhona (Zoe Henry), and Marlon discover that Dylan was the one stabbed by Kyle, and it puts a whole new spin on things. Now Paddy and Marlon have a new problem on their hands as they must work on Rhona to stop her telling Moira that Dylan was the one in the barn. More Trending Dylan shakes off April to do the drugs drop, which he plans to be his last as he tells Ray no to the next job on offer. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers? A bold move, and one that is strangely well received. It's a fair assumption to think Ray might be a bit miffed at Dylan's gall, but Ray seems to take it well. Or does he? Liam Gallagher 'doing everything he can to make sure he can go on' with Oasis reunion tour

Oasis' support act frontman, John Power, has opened up about Liam's vocal issues and his current relationship with older brother Noel. ‌ Oasis' support act Cast have opened up about what it's been like to warm up the crowd on the band's UK tour dates before Liam and Noel Gallagher take to the stage. Cast frontman, John power, is currently supporting the Oasis stars on their huge world tour, which is set to come to Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh for three nights next week. ‌ Cast have played the opening slot for the Oasis Live 25' tour since July ahead of Richard Ashcroft at all of the gigs so far in Cardiff, Manchester and London. Scotland is the next stop on the tour after the final two dates at Wembley this weekend. Oasis will play three shows in the Capital on August 8, August 9 and August 12. ‌ Speaking about Liam and Noel's relationship on tour and how their vocals are fairing in an interview with Vulture, the singer said there is currently a "positive energy" between the brothers. The former La's rocker told the publication that the pair 'seem to be in an absolutely wonderful place'. He added: 'They both genuinely … well, of course they want to be there, but you can feel the positive energy. It's all going hunky-dory.' ‌ John also applauded frontman Liam, who has suffered with vocal issues in the past, for "whatever he's doing" to keep his voice on "top form". ‌ He said: 'He's very, very focused at the moment. I know that this tour means a hell of a lot, if not the world, to him. "He's doing everything to make sure that he can go on. The worst thing is if you're tired, because your voice gets knackered and a bit strained. "He's in top form at the moment. Whatever he's doing, he's doing the right things because his voice sounds absolutely wonderful.' ‌ Liam and Noel have been walking out onstage hand-in-hand each night in a display of union and have even been seen embracing one another at the end of some sets, the M.E.N reports. The Gallagher brothers had a very public fall out which lasted for 15 years following a back stage argument at their final concert in Paris before they split in 2009. ‌ As for Liam's incredible vocals, he and Noel are said to be using straw phonation. The brothers are said to have been using a number of paper straws backstage to blow into to keep their voices warmed-up before each gig. A source told The Mirror: 'Noel and Liam are doing everything in their power to ensure they sound at their very best for these mammoth sold-out shows. It is well know that Liam has had issues with his voice in the past and he has found straw phonation to be a great way to warm-up his vocal cords. ‌ ‌ 'Noel has been an advocate of it for years since he had issues with his voice when he supported U2 on tour in 2019. It has made a huge difference to how he sings. There will be plenty of paper straws backstage for the brothers, but they won't be used to sip cocktails.' Noel has previously confirmed how he came to use a straw to warm-up his vocal cords. ‌ Speaking on The Matt Morgan Podcast in 2022, Noel said: 'When I was on tour with U2 there was a lot of parties. "At one point, when we were in Australia, my voice was shattered, it was in a bad way. We'd been out late the night before and we had a gig the next day and I woke up and my voice was f***** and wasn't coming back. 'So, I went to see a vocal specialist in Melbourne. I go in there and the guy says, 'Sit down Mr. Gallagher, so I believe your voice is a bit crook?' I said, 'Yeah. It's a bit f*****, I've been on the road for a couple of years.' ‌ "'Do you warm up before you go on stage?' I said, 'A bit, but I don't really like belting it out.' To cut a long story short he gave me this straw, just a normal paper straw, and he said, 'Half an hour before you go on, in your room, put some music on and put this straw in your mouth and just hum along to whatever comes on and your vocal cords will warm up. ' I went, 'Really?' And he said, 'Just try it mate, it will change your life.' I did and it's an amazing little trick. 'I was a bit sceptical, but it really does work." ‌ The Record also previously reported that Liam has been drinking one liquid regularly to keep his voice in check - apple cider vinegar tea. The Oasis star has been seen drinking the concoction on stage throughout the tour, which is mixed with honey. He previously said: "I drink a lot of funky drinks. I have this apple cider vinegar, the one that everyone bangs on about. Apparently, it's great for everything. Mam has it for arthritis and it's really good for her. "So I have vinegar, some honey and then I have some turmeric, some cayenne pepper, a squirt of lemon, hot water, stir it round and drink it. "It's really good for when you get a hoarse voice. I've got a thyroid problem - Hashimoto's disease - so I can get a really hoarse voice."
