'Very silly of you all to assume that just because I have my hands full with many things that I plan to abandon singing and music,' she wrote in her Instagram Stories.
Grande described music as her 'lifeline,' emphasizing that while her career may be taking new directions, she is committed to making room for all her passions.
The Grammy-winning artist also hinted at a musical comeback, revealing that she is working on plans to reconnect with fans through live performances.
'I'm working on a plan to sing for you all next year. Even if it's just for a little. I love you,' she wrote.
She stars as Glinda in Wicked: For Good, the second part of the highly anticipated film adaptation set for release in November 2025. She's also set to appear in Meet the Parents 4 alongside Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller.
Grande will lend her voice to the upcoming animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss' Oh, the Places You'll Go! The film is slated for release in March 2028.

While she has her "everyday life" featuring casual clothes and settings, she also occasionally splurges at concerts, in yachts, and soaking up the sun at beaches. Why did she go viral at Wimbledon? Mia shared photos of her Wimbledon outing, with an inspirational message: "Your time will come. Keep showing up". Commenters agreed with her caption and engaged with her post. While Mia makes it clear on her Instagram profile bio that she is an AI influencer, several commenters remained unaware. Some ask for her outfit details, yet others wish her a good weekend. But in the AI era, one can not be too sure — are the commenters real, or are they a product of AI too? However, some individuals expressed their confusion at the discovery that Mia was AI, having just found out from the news after her Wimbledon post went viral. One Instagram user said "Wait, so you aren't real?! I'm so confused now". Another commented "AI; I just saw on the news." Mia has 165,000 followers, and even a "sister" — Ana Zelu, who boasts 266,000 followers. Ana, like her "sister", is a digital creator who posts "snapshots of her life". The AI debate The two AI influencers are part of a growing trend of humans connecting to chatbots, personalities who don't exist, and tech "friends". Other than not being real, what do they have in common is a human audience who seeks validation through these artificial characters who are instantly available, do not judge, and seem to always listen. However, experts have reiterated time and again that such a dependence on AI personalities will prove harmful in the long run, as they can only provide short-term gratification, and can not take any real action, or provide real support.

Massive Attack, Kneecap and others form musician alliance against 'silencing' by pro-Israel groups
British band Massive Attack have announced an alliance of musicians to take on "intimidation" by pro-Israel groups within the music industry. Acts including Kneecap, Brian Eno, and Garbage have signed up for the group, which was announced on the back of a documentary by campaign group Led By Donkeys about the work of a pro-Israel group that is silencing activism on the situation in Palestine. According to Led By Donkeys: "UK Lawyers for Israel Ltd [UKLFI] has tried to silence various voices supporting Palestine. Their charitable wing has made public statements rejecting international law." In a statement put out on Instagram on Thursday evening, Massive Attack said intimidation of pro-Palestine artists within the music industry had been organised by UKLFI. "The scenes in Gaza have moved beyond description. We write as artists who've chosen to use our public platforms to speak out against the genocide occurring there [and] the role of the UK Government in facilitating it," Massive Attack wrote.
