During his guest appearance on "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" alongside his father Roi Vinzon, the teen star addressed the topic after getting teased by the King of Talk.
"Noong [GMA GALA 2023] siya lang po 'yung partner ko sa Sparkle teens. Kaya best friend ko na po talaga siya that time," he said.
As Anton and Charlie's undeniable chemistry grows, many fans can't help but ship them, giving rise to the TonLie ship.
At the sidelines of the GMA Gala 2025 on Saturday, the "Mga Batang Riles" star told GMA News Online that he felt honored to be shipped with Charlie.
"Ang masasabi ko lang, I'm really honored and grateful and privileged na nasabi sa akin mga fans 'yon," Anton shared, adding that Charlie and him were "really good friends."
The young star also said that he is open to being in a love team with Charlie.
"Kung anong mabigay sa akin ng GMA, I'll take that opportunity. Mayroon naman kaming connection ni Charlie as well."
Charlie and Anton are often seen doing TikToks together and sharing fun moments online.
Anton currently stars in the Kapuso youth oriented show "Maka."

Angel Guardian, Kelvin Miranda remain mum on possible ‘Sang'gre' romance between Deia and Adamus
Could there be a budding romance between Deia and Adamus in 'Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre?' On the sidelines of GMA Gala 2025, Angel Guardian and Kelvin Miranda first expressed their gratitude to the Kapuso fantaserye's supporters but remained tight-lipped about it. ''Di natin alam. Puwedeng panaginip lang 'yun, puwedeng totoo, so iiwan ko na sa inyo 'yun para panoorin,' Angel told GMA News Online. When asked about her chemistry with Kelvin, Angel said it came naturally. 'With Kelvin, hindi naman na bago for me na makatrabaho si Kelvin because siya actually 'yung pinakaunang love team ko sa GMA. So madali na for me since matagal ko na siyang kilala. Wala nang kailangan. Wala nang anything at all, so very easy,' she said. Kelvin, on the other hand, remained cryptic about the fate of their characters but acknowledged the intriguing dynamics.
