Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship has hit a 'turning point', report claims

Daily Mail8 hours ago
The romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce has reportedly reached a 'turning point' as the 14-time Grammy winner and NFL superstar have spent plenty of low-key time together in recent months.
A rare period of calm after Swift wrapped her worldwide 'Eras Tour' last December, combined with Kelce being in the NFL's offseason since February, has given the lovely couple more time than ever together.
That period may be coming to a close as training camp looms for the Kansas City Chiefs later this month.
For now, Kelce and Swift have elevated their relationship, per PEOPLE, with life as quiet as it can get for one of the most popular celebrities in the world and her beloved sportsman partner.
'It's been a turning point for their relationship in a lot of ways,' PEOPLE reported. 'They're incredibly happy and in sync. There's a calmness and ease to their relationship right now that's been really grounding for Taylor and Travis.'
'Taylor and Travis are soaking up every minute of this slower season together. They've been splitting their time between New York, Nashville, and a few quiet getaways, just enjoying each other's company without all the usual chaos. This kind of downtime is rare for both of them, and it's really allowed their bond to deepen.'
It has not been completely quiet for Kelce and Swift over the last few months, attending an event together for the first time as a couple several days ago.
At the Tight End University event, Swift and Kelce were clearly locked in on each other, including sharing some PDA in front of cameras.
Swift also regained control of her masters last month, a move to gain further control of her career, which has been years coming.
'Reclaiming her masters has been emotional and empowering,' PEOPLE reported. 'She's proud, relieved, and finally feels like a chapter has closed in the best possible way.'
'Having Travis by her side for that milestone made it even more special. He was honored to support her and he wouldn't have wanted it any other way.'
Swift has attended 23 NFL games since she started dating Kelce, all while having touring commitments.
That number should skyrocket as Kelce's time in the NFL may be dwindling with the 'Anti-Hero' singer on his arm.
'Taylor is really looking forward to the upcoming NFL season,' PEOPLE stated. 'Not just because she loves supporting Travis, but because for the first full season since they started dating, she's not juggling a packed tour schedule.'
'This fall will be completely different. It's the first season where she's not constantly flying back and forth or working around an entire touring calendar.'
'The past two seasons were a whirlwind between performing across multiple countries, long flights, and trying to squeeze in alone time together wherever possible. It wasn't easy but they made it work.'
Last season, outside of the Super Bowl, Swift only attended Kelce's games in Kansas City.
With more free time on her hands, and only seven chances to watch Kelce play not in Missouri, but in the United States, that may change as this 'turning point' has occurred.

Long before Diddy's sex-crimes trial, he almost became an NFL owner

It wasn't long ago that Combs attempted to join one of the most exclusive clubs in American society: NFL ownership. Here's a look back at Diddy's dalliance with "The Shield." Sean 'Diddy' Combs wanted to buy Carolina Panthers Combs first voiced his desire to buy the Carolina Panthers via social media in December 2017. The Golden State Warriors' Stephen Curry responded that he wanted to be a part of the ownership group. Combs' ownership push came amid the Colin Kaepernick protests that he inspired across the league. In May 2018, however, owners unanimously approved a new national anthem policy that requires players to stand if they are on the field during the performance and extinguished Combs' desire to own a team, apparently. "Man, I really wanted to go in there and be a part of the NFL and try to be a positive change," Combs said, via Billboard. "This last move, though, I don't even want to own an NFL team no more." The team eventually went to David Tepper. During an appearance with "The Breakfast Club" following his failed attempt to buy the team, Combs said: "It was never about me buying the Panthers. It was always about 'we.' It was always about 'we' need a team," he said. "I jumped out there to make sure that they understood that they have to consider some Black ownership right now with 80%, 70% of the league being African American. It's just time." Robert Kraft wanted Sean 'Diddy' Combs to own NFL team During a run-in with gossip website TMZ, Patriots owner Robert Kraft voiced his support for Combs when asked about the prospect of the 55-year-old buying into the league. "I hope so," he told TMZ Sports. "I'm a big fan of his." Combs later told TMZ that "it's time" for him to own a team.

Darren Waller joins list of NFL players to come out of retirement

One day later, they've made another deal to fill Smith's shoes. On July 1, Miami agreed to trade a sixth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft to the New York Giants in return for newly un-retired tight end Darren Waller. Waller retired following the 2023 NFL season, citing a health scare he suffered in November of that season. That was his only year with the Giants following a five-year stint with the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders. He last played a full season in 2020 when he made his lone Pro Bowl appearance. Waller is entering his age-33 season as he attempts a comeback. He's not the only notable NFL player to un-retire in recent years. Notable NFL players who have come out of retirement This list includes players since 2010. QB Teddy Bridgewater Bridgewater announced his retirement following the 2023 NFL season. He'd spent that year with the Detroit Lions backing up starter Jared Goff as the franchise made a run to the NFC championship game. He then transitioned to coaching at his alma mater, Miami Northwestern High School, and led them to a state title. Less than two weeks later, he came out of retirement to join the Lions once again ahead of the NFL playoffs. He spent the final three games of the Lions' season as the third-string quarterback behind Goff and Hendon Hooker and did not play. QB Tom Brady After one of the greatest careers in NFL history, Brady announced his retirement on Feb. 1, 2022. He was one season removed from a seventh Super Bowl victory with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and had just thrown for a career-high 5,316 yards and league-leading 43 touchdowns. That retirement lasted all of 40 days. Brady announced on March 13, 2022 that he'd be back for the 2022 NFL season. The Buccaneers went 8-9, his first losing season as a starter in the NFL, and Brady called it a career for good in February 2023. S Eric Weddle Weddle was one of the top safeties in the league in the early 2010s. He made five All-Pro teams - two first-team, three second-team - with the then-San Diego Chargers and was a three-time Pro Bowler in three seasons with the Baltimore Ravens. He weighed retirement after the 2018 season before ultimately signing a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Rams ahead of the 2019 season. He played out the 2019 season but announced his retirement in February 2020. He also made the move to coaching by taking over his son's Pop Warner team. That changed in January 2022. The six-time Pro Bowler re-signed with the Rams after multiple injuries in their safety room. He started all four of the Rams' playoff games, including Super Bowl 56. He announced after the game that he'd torn his pectoral muscle and would be retiring for good. TE Rob Gronkowski Gronkowski was selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame's All-Decade team for the 2010s, thanks to his impressive run with the New England Patriots. The tight end was a first-team All-Pro four times and won three titles from 2010 to 2018. He announced his retirement in March 2019 and later cited the toll injuries had taken on him over his nine-year career. That changed one year later. Gronkowski followed Brady to Tampa Bay as the Patriots traded him to the Buccaneers for a pick swap in the 2020 NFL Draft. He spent two seasons with the Buccaneers and won another Super Bowl in that 2020 season before retiring for good in June 2022. TE Jason Witten Witten set multiple franchise records for the Dallas Cowboys over a 15-year stint with the franchise starting in 2003. The former third-round pick made 11 Pro Bowls and four All-Pro teams (two first-team, two second-team) by the time he called it a career following the 2017 season. He made the transition to the broadcast booth to call "Monday Night Football" games on ESPN. That only stuck for a year, though, as he returned to the Cowboys for the 2019 season on a one-year deal. He made 16 starts and caught four touchdowns. The Las Vegas Raiders came calling for his services in 2020 and he spent a season there before retiring again in January 2021 and taking up coaching his sons' high school football team. RB Marshawn Lynch Lynch went from being a solid starter in Buffalo to a tone-setter in Seattle in the early 2010s. The Seahawks' dominant teams of the decade featured a historically good defense and Lynch's powerful running on offense. He racked up four Pro Bowls and two All-Pro honors from 2011 through 2014 but dealt with injuries in 2015 and announced his retirement during Super Bowl 50. That changed a year later when Lynch learned his hometown Oakland Raiders would be relocating to Las Vegas. He wanted Raiders fans in Oakland to see a homegrown star play for the team and he spent two seasons with the Raiders before retiring again after the 2018 season. That didn't stick for long either, as he returned with Seattle late in the 2019 season following injuries to the Seahawks' running back room. Lynch had three touchdowns in the postseason and that was the last of his NFL career. WR Randy Moss Moss tied for the league lead in receiving touchdowns in 2009 but things were much different a year later. He started the 2010 season with New England before the Patriots traded him to the Minnesota Vikings for a third-round pick in Week 5. Minnesota waived him less than a month later and he spent the final eight games of the year with the Tennessee Titans. The future Hall of Famer announced his retirement in August 2011. That changed a year later as Moss signed a one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers. He had 28 receptions, 434 yards and three touchdowns as the 49ers made a run to Super Bowl 47. That Super Bowl loss was the final game of Moss' career.

Meghan Markle's As Ever wine goes on sale for wild price per bottle... but it is already SOLD OUT

Meghan Markle 's As Ever rosé wine is now available for purchase for a steep price - but it is already sold out. On Tuesday, the sales for the wine went live, with customers able to purchase three bottles for $90, six bottles for $159, and 12 bottles for $300. If you bought the six bottle package, Meghan promised that you were receiving 12 per cent off, while a 12-pack gets you a 17 per cent saving. Daily Mail exclusively revealed this week that the alcoholic beverage is made by Fairwinds Estate, a California winery that creates bespoke wines for celebrities, as they've now added Meghan to their list of clients. When FEMAIL in New York went to purchase a bundle of the wine, we weren't asked for proof of ID - only our birthday. In New York State, there are strict rules about the shipping of wine, as 'manufacturers in other states can make direct shipments of wine, distilled spirits, cider, mead, and braggot to New York residents with an Out-of-State Direct Shipper's License,' per the state's website. The state also requires that the manufacturer must require the customer to represent that they are 21 or older at purchase (and on delivery provide proof that they are 21 years of age or older) and that the alcohol is being purchased for personal use only. Wine shipped to New York must also be labeled in a specific way, as the package must read, 'signature of person age 21 or older required for delivery.' So, in New York, you may be able to order the wine online, but you will need to show proof of identity and age in order to accept the package. But while it may be simple for anyone of age to get their hands on Meghan's As Ever wine, a supplier like Total Wine won't even ship wine to New York State. Other websites, like Wine Access, however, follow As Ever's lead and only ask for a birthdate upon ordering. The As Ever wine is the first alcoholic product to be sold under the brand, and will join her current rolodex of raspberry and apricot spreads, cookie mixes, flower sprinkles and herbal teas - all of which received a less-than-perfect review by FEMAIL. However, Caitlin Jardine, a Social Media Manager at Ellis Digital, previously shared with Daily Mail that The Duchess could risk 'alienating' some fans with the boozy introduction. Jardine noted that Meghan will be 'entering a highly competitive and established market' that is 'most likely to appeal to a more expansive audience, particularly those who see wine as more than just something to drink but an accessory to their lifestyle.' 'However, having already associated herself with all things wellness, this could alienate some of her fan base who feel as though she is going against her core wellness-centered brand image, different to her existing line of products, with the potential to contradict her values around mindful living,' Jardine explained. But it is not all bad news for the entrepreneur. 'What it does do is add versatility to her current line of As Ever products, reflecting a more modern, balanced lifestyle,' she shared. 'Rather than one that is more rigid and "clean," it reflects one that is more in tune with her diverse audience and how they live.' Jardine noted that in the past, Meghan has faced criticism from the public about her lack of relatability - and thinks this new line of rosé could help recover her image. Meghan's July 1 wine launch is her second in just a matter of weeks. On June 20, she released a new apricot spread and limited-edition orange blossom honey - but unfortunately, her infamous raspberry spread was nowhere to be found.
