Jenna Ortega's supernatural mystery comedy television series, Wednesday Season 2, Part 1, has been released after a long period of anticipation amongst the audience. The Netflix series' season 2's part 1 looked back at the unresolved events from season 1. It showcased Wednesday's return to Nevermore Academy with her family. There, the titular character, whose psychic powers are gone, meets a new threat called 'The Avian", who targets outcasts using crows. As she embarks on a journey to uncover the mystery, she is led to Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital.

Several cast members from season 1 of the series have reprised their roles in season 2, including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo. Meanwhile, Percy Hynes White, who played Xavier Thorpe, didn't return for the second season.
