Internet roasts Saiyaara, War 2 for using the same copy-paste romantic pose: ‘Do filmmakers think we won't notice?'
Same pose, different posters
The now-viral video featured the latest poster of Saiyaara starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan featuring Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor. Not to be left behind, even the upcoming film Dhadak 2, headlined by Siddhant Chaturvedi and Tripti Dimri, followed the same visual template.
Today, War 2 actors Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani joined this growing list. A picture from their upcoming song Aavan Jaavan was shared online, and fans were quick to notice that it too had the familiar romantic pose. In the image, the two actors are seen in a glamorous look, their chemistry obvious. But what really caught everyone's attention was that now-famous forehead-touch moment.
Kiara's posters repeating the pattern?
As soon as Kiara shared the same picture on her social media with a heart in the caption, eagle-eyed fans pointed out that this was not the first time she appeared in a similar pose. In November 2024, Kiara was featured in the song Dhop from the film Game Changer, opposite Ram Charan. That poster, too, had the same exact pose. And it doesn't end there. The poster of SatyaPrem Ki Katha, in which Kiara starred alongside Kartik Aaryan, also had a very similar look and feel.
Reddit reacts
The video soon made it to Reddit, where fans started sharing all the posters based on the same template and pointed out how similar they looked. While some fans loved the consistency, others found it a bit too much. One user wrote, 'Most posters follow a template. And there will be many film posters along these lines.' Another added, 'I mean how much innovation do you want for romantic films? There will only be a select few poses.' Another wrote, 'They are telling us, don't bring your brain and watch it with your eyes closed.'
Check out a few more posters from recent films
Recently, Sikander, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, and Sky Force, featuring Veer Pahariya and Sara Ali Khan, followed the same poster template. On the other hand, Devara, starring Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, and Sitare Zameen Par, with Aamir Khan and Genelia D'Souza, used another common style, the female lead hugging the male protagonist from behind, showing emotional support and intimacy. Fans online were quick to point out how these poster trends keep repeating across big-banner films.

PO on the mic: Singer who called govt house a jail busted after 10 years
1 2 Chandigarh: Declared a proclaimed offender in 2016, Sirsa resident Jagsir Singh evaded police for nine years by constantly changing his location and identity. However, his run ended with a dramatic revelation on Wednesday — he is Punjabi singer Baaz Sran, who just two months ago released a song likening a 'Sarkari Kothi' (govt residence) to a jail. In an irony of sorts, the lyrics of the song 'Sarkari Kothi' — which has 13 lakh views on YouTube — go: 'Jattan di sarkari kothi hundi jail kuddey (The official residence of Jatts is jail, lady).' Sran, who has 32,600 followers on Instagram and has sung duets with female singers like Deepak Dhillon and Gurlez Akhtar, was arrested by the Chandigarh zonal unit of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with the alleged seizure of 36kg opium in 2015. Sran hails from Malikpura village in Haryana's Sirsa district. An official privy to the case said Baaz himself penned the lyrics and composed his songs. In May 2025, NCB published Jagsir's details in leading newspapers and announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for information leading to his arrest. Based on inputs received thereafter, he was arrested on Wednesday, the NCB said in a statement. The statement added: "During his absconding period, he gained popularity as a singer on social media platforms like YouTube and Instagram, amassing millions of views under a different identity. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Learn More - How Donating Plasma May Boost Your Income SpellRock Undo " At the time of his arrest, Sran was accompanied by a woman, said an official. The official added that a co-accused in the opium seizure had already been convicted. The official added that though Sran had was facing a drug seizure case, he did not consume them. "He is a fitness freak. He had just finished running and was exercising when we nabbed him. While he was involved in the drugs case and promotes drugs and weapons in the songs, he himself does not consume drugs," added the official. 'Sarkari Kothi': A song about life of crime In the song 'Sarkari Kothi', Baaz Sran has also penned lyrics about facing charges under the Arms Act and an 'attempt to murder' charge against him. The lyrics go: "25, 54, 59 laggi naal 307 de ni, jail diyaan baahlian likhiyaan karman vich jatt de di (I have been charged with sections 25, 54 and 59, along with Section 307. Actor Darshan, Pavithra ask SC not to cancel bail in murder case
Bengaluru: Actor Darshan and co-accused Pavithra Gowda urged Supreme Court to uphold the bail granted to them by Karnataka high court in the sensational Renukaswamy murder case. The apex court had reserved its verdict after a lengthy hearing on Karnataka govt's plea seeking to cancel their bail. In his written submission, Darshan (accused no. 2 in the case) argued that bail should only be revoked in cases of serious violations, none of which apply to him. "Cancellation of bail is a harsh step that curtails personal liberty and shouldn't be taken lightly," his plea stated. The actor said he hadn't breached any bail conditions and there was no evidence against him when he was arrested in Mysuru for a crime that allegedly occurred in Bengaluru. In her written submissions, Pavithra Gowda, accused no. 1, said no exceptional circumstances exist to cancel the bail granted to her. Countering their arguments, the govt pointed to Darshan's post-bail behaviour: He was seen socialising with Chikkanna, a witness, after being granted bail. Further, although he received exemption from court appearance on medical grounds in April (citing back pain), he was spotted at a film screening the very next day. 5th suspect held in Ramya case Cybercrime police arrested 23-year-old Manjunath from Koppal in north Karnataka on charges of sending abusive messages to actor Ramya. Police said Manjunath, a daily- wage labourer, sent her the message from his Instagram account, forever_crickte_lover. This is the fifth suspected to be arrested in the case.
