On The Work Front
Tiger Shroff was last seen in Rahul Shetty-directed Jahaan. This short film explores the stark realities of climate change and human apathy, combining poignant storytelling with arresting visuals. Up next, the actor is all set to reprise his role in Baaghi 4. After five years of waiting, Tiger Shroff's action franchise Baaghi is returning with another action-packed instalment. Directed by A Harsha, Baaghi 4 casts Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa, and Harnaaz Sandhu alongside Tiger Shroff in lead roles. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on September 5.
On the other hand, Krishna Shroff is an entrepreneur and television personality. Although she did not follow her brother's footsteps and join the film industry, she too shares a passion for martial arts like Tiger Shroff. Krishna is the founder of Matrix Fight Night, a mixed martial arts promotion company. She is also a well-known face on television. In 2024, Krishna appeared in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 and finished as a runner-up. Currently, she is seen on the rural reality show Chhoriyan Chali Gaon.

Khan Sir's Patna Raksha Bandhan: 15,000 sisters, colourful rakhis, and a 156-dish feast
Synopsis Khan Sir's Raksha Bandhan celebration in Patna drew over 15,000 students. Young women tied rakhis to their teacher, whom they see as an elder brother. The event took place at SK Memorial Hall. Khan Sir arranged a feast with 156 dishes and gifted each student a course. The celebration fostered a sense of community among students away from their families. Raksha Bandhan in Bihar's capital took on a grand, heartwarming twist this year when popular educator and YouTuber Khan Sir celebrated the festival with thousands of his students. Over 15,000 young women, many far from their own brothers and families, came together to tie rakhis to the teacher they affectionately call their elder brother. The scene — arms laden with bright threads, laughter echoing through the hall — quickly went viral, melting hearts across social media. For many participants, the day offered comfort and connection that distance from family often denies. Travelling from different corners of the country, they gathered at SK Memorial Hall not just for the ritual, but for the sense of belonging. 'It is my good fortune that my students tie rakhi. We have to protect our rich culture,' Khan Sir told PTI. He spoke of Raksha Bandhan as more than a yearly custom — calling it a thread of love, duty, and trust. Playfully, he added in a video clip, 'I am not able to raise my hand,' as hundreds of rakhis piled up on his wrists. To make sure no one left without a memory, Khan Sir organised an elaborate spread — 156 different dishes — for his 'sisters.' Each was also gifted a crash course worth ₹99, a symbolic token of appreciation. Between the teasing banter and shared meals, the event struck the perfect balance between joy and sentiment. His lighthearted quip, 'Now, how will we get up?' after the marathon rakhi-tying session, drew cheers and chuckles from the crowd. While many know Khan Sir for his viral lectures and down-to-earth teaching style, his annual Raksha Bandhan celebrations have become a tradition of their own. Year after year, he transforms the classroom into a cultural space where values and connections matter as much as lessons and exams. For students far from home, the occasion offers a reminder that family bonds can be built, not just born. This year's event, once again, left an imprint online — with admiration pouring in for his humility and the genuine affection between teacher and students.

Divya Dutta recalls barging into Sonu Nigam's room, crying during moments of emotional vulnerability: ‘One doesn't forget such things'
Are celebrity friendships truly real? Or are they all simply faking their attachment to or affection for each other to make headlines or for personal gain? From the expansive world of music to Hollywood, Bollywood and beyond, fans and observers have long had this doubt. Although it's impossible to provide a blanket answer to this question — and yes, publicity stunts are quite common — there certainly have also been friendships that transcend the boundaries of the flashy world. Although they are probably far and few, they do exist, and renowned actor Divya Dutta's recent social media post for her 'bestie', legendary playback singer Sonu Nigam, stands as a testament to this. Sharing on Instagram a video comprising pictures of them over the years, Divya, on the occasion of the singer's birthday on July 30, had opened up about how their bond has 'stood the test of time'. Recalling Sonu's warm gestures, including being there for her whenever she's in an emotionally vulnerable state, she described him as her 'constant', underscoring their deep camaraderie. In an exclusive interview with SCREEN, Divya Dutta elaborated on their relationship and how her friends, in general, keep her anchored. 'I began with him. I still remember those beautiful times when I would barge into his room while he was doing his makeup for shows, saying, 'You continue with your work; I'm going to sit here and cry.' He would be like, 'Okay, sit and cry.' One doesn't forget such things,' she recalled. Sharing how he's been there for her and has always had her back, Divya said, 'I now love speaking on stage, but there was a time when it used to make me very nervous. He taught me how to interact with the audience.' She continued, 'In life, I think you're all about friends. They keep you sailing, especially when you're working (in such a field) and are away from your families for long periods. Even otherwise, it's your friends who keep you aligned with yourself, grounded, make fun of you, and tell you who you are. Particularly when you enter this make-believe world, chances are that you could get swayed by all the love and attention. It's your friends who keep you anchored by making you realise what you actually are, saying, 'Listen, you're this. So, shut up and sit down.' That's very important.' Renowned for her work in Bollywood and Punjabi cinema, Divya Dutta recently made her Telugu debut in a key role in Mayasabha, the political drama streaming series created by Deva Katta.
