EastEnders horror in early iPlayer release as a knife is pulled on major local
Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier) has turned on one of his own with a knife.
As viewers of the soap know, the newbie is in hot water with some vicious thugs, after he tipped off the police about their involvement in the car robbery.
The group's ringleader Mike (Tai Hilferink) had tried to petrol bomb Oscar's home, mistakenly targeting the neighbours instead. As a result he was kicked out by mum Tanya (Jo Joyner) and has settled in Albert Square since being released from a youth detention centre.
So far he's proved himself to be quite the troublemaker; trying to scam Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), flirting with just about every man or woman he's crossed, and causing undue stress for his sister Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) and her fiancé Peter Beale (Thomas Law).
After discovering that his nephew Jimmy is visually impaired, fans saw a softer side to Oscar, who later volunteered to babysit his two nephews.
Disaster struck when Mike let himself into the house, leaving a large kitchen knife jammed in the chopping board as a warning of what he was capable of.

In today's episode, Lauren found out about the altercation. Louie, who had spotted Mike chatting with Oscar, asked if he was going to return again soon.
A troubled Oscar was then forced to explain what had happened, and promised his sister that her sons weren't in danger.
Later, after heading to the market for a shift, he spotted Mike and his mate Harrison lurking in the shadows. Knowing that it was high time this stopped, he pulled the lads to one side and tried to find a solution.
Harrison swooped in from behind and punched him in the stomach, with Mike lifting a brick over Oscar's head. Luckily, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) rushed to his defence, but the violence didn't end there.

Real life Emmerdale couple's wedding date confirmed three years after engagement
A couple who met on the set of Emmerdale when they played on-screen siblings are set to get married next week, with Max Parker and Kris Mochrie tying the knot very soon Former Emmerdale star Max Parker has announced the date of his wedding to former co-star Kris Mochrie. Max, who began a romance with Kris after meeting on the set, has teased that their nuptials are now just days away. Kris, 40, and Max, 33, who played brothers Lee Posner and Luke Posner respectively on the ITV soap opera, have been together since 2020 after meeting behind-the-scenes. Although on-screen siblings, the two actors, who have both since left Emmerdale, didn't share any scenes together. They got engaged just over three years ago, with Max having proposed to his partner Kris in January 2022. They are now preparing to get married next week. The news comes after Corrie star Jack P. Shepherd married his fiancée in a star-studded wedding in Manchester over the weekend. Max announced yesterday that it's just a week until he married Kris. The actor shared posts on Instagram that confirmed that they are just days away from exchanging vows, three years on from the couple's engagement. Alongside a photo of them both dressed up in suits, Max wrote: "7 days and we're married." He tagged his fiancé Kris, whose tie he was adjusting in the photo, in the post that was shared with his followers on the platform this week. Max also shared a photo of them raising a toast with glasses ahead of their upcoming wedding recently. The photo, which featured a fire in the background, was accompanied by a caption that read: "1 week til we get HITCHED!" It comes after Kris announced last year that the couple would be getting married in August this year. Alongside an engagement ring emoji, Kris wrote in a post on the platform almost a year ago: "365 days to go & 365 things to do." The couple got engaged in 2022, with Kris sharing the news at the time after Max, who he described as his "best friend," proposed on a beach. He shared that the proposal had been "perfect" and said he was a "very lucky boy". Kris wrote: "The beautiful soul that is my best friend asked me to marry him yesterday. I can't begin to describe how happy I am. I love him beyond words, we laugh every single day and I'm so so grateful that he came in to my life." He continued: "I had no idea at all! But it was just perfect… I mean this film says it all. Max had asked my Mum for any jewellery that my Gran had. Mum still had my Grans locket and he has had it made in to the middle of the engagement ring on the inside. So so special." Kris concluded his post at the time by writing: "Thank you to the job that brought us together, our incredible family and friends. And the amazing love from you all. I'm a very lucky boy. WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!!!"

EastEnders confirms Elaine's future with exciting new job after the Vic
EastEnders' Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) may no longer be the landlady of The Vic, but she's back behind a bar with the most unlikely of partners next week. Forthcoming scenes on the BBC soap will see Elaine offered a new job by none other than her sworn enemy Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins). Yes, you read that correctly. Vinny confides in Emmerdale legend about trying to kiss Kammy as doubts grow
Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) has got himself in quite the pickle in Emmerdale, having begun to question his sexual identity after getting engaged to a woman whose last ex pretended to be straight in order to scam her into marrying him. Some weeks ago now, after a close moment between them, Vinny accidentally leant in to kiss Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah). Kammy backed off immediately and it clear he didn't like Vinny that way, but has since been supportive of Vinny finding out who he really is. His first proper relationship before Gabby (Rosie Bentham) was asexual, so until now he hasn't had the chance to discover where his true sexual identity lies. He's been in denial to the point that he stepped up his wedding with Gabby in a bid to convince himself that he's straight. But all that has done is increase the internal turmoil for the awkward lad who has no idea how to back out of it. Vinny goes full steam ahead on the wedding, still lying to himself, and chats about his impending nuptials with Mandy (Lisa Riley) hoping reassurance from his mum will quell his growing fear. Kammy gifts Vinny a watch for his wedding and again Vinny is left trying to convince himself he's making the right move. More Trending But, when Kammy is busy at the scrap yard, Vinny watches him work with a lustful gaze and it is patently obvious that Vinny is making a mistake marrying a woman.
