Eli Manning had a funny reaction to Peyton winning another Sports Emmy award
Peyton Manning has won yet another Sports Emmy.
Manning and his popular ManningCast program have won multiple Emmy awards in recent years, and that trend continued this week when the former quarterback took home a Sports Emmy in the Outstanding Event Analyst category.
Peyton, of course, co-hosts the ManningCast with his brother, Eli, a fellow two-time Super Bowl champion. Eli took to Twitter/X on Wednesday with some good-natured ribbing for his brother.
"Big congrats to Peyton on the Sports Emmy," Eli tweeted. "Amazing what a guy can accomplish with a solid co-host carrying him every week."
That's the Eli we know and love.
Manning and the Denver Broncos also won awards for their schedule release video in 2023. The retired quarterback should be poised to win another Emmy next year as the ManningCast is set to return this fall.
Manning retired from the NFL after winning Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos. He remains one of the most notable figures in the NFL landscape, and he probably won't be leaving ESPN's coverage of the NFL anytime soon.

Cleveland Browns' brass believes Shedeur Sanders could '100%' start per NFL insider

Cleveland Browns' brass believes Shedeur Sanders could '100%' start per NFL insider Shedeur Sanders is already making waves in Cleveland. The former Colorado star and fifth-round pick is drawing praise inside the Browns organization for his attitude, preparation and seemingly rapid development during offseason workouts. According to ESPN's Kimberley A. Martin, there are people within the building who believe Sanders has what it takes to start for the Browns in Week 1. "Listen, in that building, there are people who believe that Shedeur can 100 percent be the starter of this football team," Martin said on ESPN's "Get Up." "It's incumbent upon Shedeur to do the work, which, talking to people in that building, they've said he is soaking up everything like a sponge." Sanders' work ethic since being drafted has stood out. During rookie minicamp, he was one of the last players off the field each day, and he's been taking full advantage of a veteran-rich quarterback room. Sanders has reportedly been active in film sessions and meetings, learning from veteran Joe Flacco. "The quarterback room is fun," Sanders said on a recent episode of his "2Legendary" podcast. "Every day is fun going in there. Everything is real good. I'm happy. You've got a bunch of different personalities in the quarterback room, and that's what it is. Just getting to talk to the quarterbacks that took NFL snaps, that played in the league, you're living the experience through them also and asking them whatever question comes to mind." While Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel may offer solid competition, Sanders' desire to prove doubters wrong might give him the upper hand at becoming a starter. The Browns' quarterback room may be crowded, but Shedeur Sanders is quickly proving he belongs. Follow Charlie Strella on X, Threads, and Instagram. HC Mike Elko is highly confident in Texas A&M's veteran 2025 offensive line

HC Mike Elko is highly confident in Texas A&M's veteran 2025 offensive line During Mike Elko's assistant coaching career, which included his three year stint as Texas A&M's defensive coordinator (2018-2021), he experienced one of the Aggies' best seasons since the memorable 2012 campaign during the 9-1 2020 COVID-inflicted season, which included an elite performance from Texas A&M's offensive line. Throughout the offseason, included during Wednesday's Houston Coach's Night, Elko has continued to emphasize Texas A&M's veteran offensive line that includes every returning starter from the start of the 2024 season, including center Mark Nabou, who missed the season's entirety after an early lower body injury. Elko also mentioned Texas A&M's deep running back room, headlined by senior back Le'Veon Moss. "If you think back to the core of the 2020 football team, the offensive line is where it all started. We bring back all four tailbacks. That is not something you see all the time." This group's size, experience, and NFL potential, especially left tackle Trey Zuhn, left guard Chase Bisontis, and right guard Ar'maj Reed-Adams, are considered some of the best at their positions, and will provide a significant impact in both pass pro and run blocking. For starting quarterback Marcel Reed, his success starts in the trenches, as the redshirt sophomore looks to improve as a pocket passer, which is vital if the Aggies plan to make it through their tough schedule and earn the program's first College Football Playoff berth. The running game will be emphasized, which is a staple of OC Collin Klein's scheme, but know that when opposing defenses shut down the run game, Marcel Reed will be looked at to take full control from the pocket and deliver strikes down the field, and will solid pass protection, Elko is confident that his starting signal caller can get the job done if the line holds up.
