During the 10 minute quick chat, the singer was asked if she's a romantic person, to which she replied, 'I consider myself to be very romantic.' When asked in what way, she added, 'I like to surprise my date.' On what could be the best compliment she'd give someone, Jennie said she doesn't like people easily, so when she does, she tells them that, according to her, could be taken as a compliment. Jennie was also quizzed on how often she gets a love hangover, and she playfully said, 'Maybe every other weekend.' She admitted she's not a fan of those hangovers, but she can't really avoid them either.

In South Korea, idol culture often keeps stars from being too open about their dating life, but fans were glad Jennie was so candid. Later in the chat, when Amelia asked if she believes in fate, Jennie said, 'I do,' but followed it up with, 'Fate has disappointed me.' She added it's less now, and she's back to deciding her own fate. When asked if having a crush excites her, Jennie said, 'I haven't been on a date in a very long time, so this is exhilarating.' As for her ideal type, she shared, 'I don't like cute guys. Sexy guys don't know they're sexy, but cute guys know they're cute.' And when asked if she'd date someone with no rhythm, Jennie replied, 'Rhythm is so important. It's everything. I don't want to date someone who's so stiff.'
Jennie's dating life has always been a hot topic. The singer was first reported to be dating EXO's Kai during her debut era. They publicly dated from October 2018 to January 2019, with SM Entertainment confirming the relationship at the time. Old clips still resurface online showing the two stealing glances at public events. When the Chicken Shop Date host asked Jennie if she believes in love at first sight, Jennie replied, 'That's been my life,' adding, 'I know instantly whether it's gonna work or not.' Fans felt she might've been hinting at one of those times where her romance fizzled before turning into a fairytale ending. She was also linked to BIGBANG's G-Dragon. More recently, she's been rumoured to be dating BTS' Kim Taehyung, aka V. Fans have pieced together clues, but neither side has ever confirmed anything. Reports say they parted ways in 2024 before V enlisted for military service. On the work front, she's back with her fellow BLACKPINK members Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo. The group, still under YG, kicked off their Deadline World Tour earlier this month.

Is BTS' V collaborating with DJ Peggy Gou for his next solo release? Here's why fans think so
Kim Taehyung is hopping around South Korea, and here's what he may be up to! Speculations are rife about BTS member V 's upcoming solo career plans. After departing for Los Angeles from his week-long stay during Paris Fashion Week for the CELINE show, he hung around with his teammates to work on BTS' upcoming album. Now that he's back for a seemingly quick stay, V has been rumored to be working on some new music alongside new friend and famed DJ Peggy Gou. V makes it to South Korea: Is it for new solo music? According to sightings on July 28, BTS' V was hanging around his old military base and was seen attending his SDT junior's military discharge. Photos of him from the event were shared online on communities and quickly reached the singer himself, who was shocked about how fast the news spread. Amid other updates from his time out and about in his homeland, photos of the singer with kids seemingly from his hometown have made rounds on the internet. The exact dates of when they were shot are yet unknown. Among other updates, V was seemingly also spotted hanging out with Peggy Gou, raising questions about a possible collaboration between them. With multiple hits under her belt, the South Korean DJ could very well be prepping for something with the BTS member. The two were previously spotted together in June, grabbing dinner with acquaintances including famed director Park Chan Wook and pianist Cho Seong Jin. It is not known how their first meeting came to be. Keen-eyed fans also seemingly spotted him at the studio with her, judging from one of her Instagram stories. His presence has not been confirmed, however. Following his enlistment in the military, V has been dropping unexpected releases, including international collaborations. It's been almost a couple of months since his discharge, so the talk of him taking on another new solo project has already begun.

BTS' V Teases Big Surprise For ARMY In August, Reveals Why He Dropped YouTube Channel Plans
BTS' V hinted at a new project for ARMYs in August and explained why he decided not to launch his own YouTube channel. BTS member V has sparked a wave of excitement among fans with his latest live broadcast, where he hinted at a special surprise lined up for ARMYs in August. Speaking candidly, V said, 'Actually in August, there will be a little something for ARMYs to see," which immediately led to speculation online about a possible comeback or a fresh solo project. While he stopped short of giving full details, the cryptic teaser was enough to get fans buzzing across social media. The singer also shared a heartfelt message with fans, expressing how deeply he misses them. 'I do really miss ARMYs though. The atmosphere feels changed in some way but if we saw each other together at a concert or at a music show or anyway someplace like that, I feel like it'd be great," he said. His emotional words struck a chord with ARMYs, many of whom have been waiting for the group's full reunion following solo ventures and ongoing military enlistments. Interestingly, V also addressed why he ultimately chose not to start his own YouTube channel. While many fans were looking forward to seeing more of his personal content, he explained his change of heart: 'I was going to try my own YouTube, but I decided not to. I don't think it would've worked. If I did it alone, I don't think it would have been fun. If I did my own YT, I thought I could do vlogs. I asked ppl around me what they thought I would do and they all said vlog. Which made me think it was too obvious so I decided against it." In addition to the live session, V has also been dropping cryptic images on Instagram Stories—one featuring a red leather-clad hand, another a dramatic close-up of his face, and a third showing a vintage-style building. While nothing is confirmed yet, fans believe these could be teasers connected to his upcoming music or concept rollout. With August just around the corner, anticipation is at an all-time high as ARMYs await what V has in store.
