Red Dead Redemption cast take notes from the Persona 4 school of early announcement teasers with Arthur Morgan's actor now seemingly confirming Red Dead news

It's seemingly increasingly likely that Red Dead Redemption fans have something to be excited about, as another actor from the series has teased an upcoming announcement of some sort.
Late last week, John Marston actor Rob Wiethoff broke the internet while streaming Red Dead Redemption as he teased that he's "got such exciting news" he can't currently share. Whatever it is, he suggested we should probably find out soon: "By the end of this week, hopefully sooner... definitely before Friday."
How mysterious. Obviously, everyone immediately began speculating that it could be something Red Dead Redemption-related, whether that could possibly be a next-gen update for RDR2, a Switch 2 port, or something else entirely. Curiously, he also mentioned that he "won't be the only one sharing" the news, and now, Red Dead Redemption 2's Arthur Morgan actor, Roger Clark, claims he's also in the know.
Asked on Twitter if he knows "what the Red Dead news is Rob mentioned," Clark simply says "yes," sharing a GIF of a dog giving a smug smile.
Although he's not revealed exactly what the news is, it looks like he might have given something away by the fact that he was specifically asked about some "Red Dead news," and still responded with a metaphorical thumbs up. Even though fans quickly made the assumption, Wiethoff never actually said out loud that his announcement would be related to the series, so it appears that Clark may have inadvertently confirmed that.
It really feels like the pair are taking notes from the Persona 4 cast, of which three actors (from the original game and the Golden re-release) ended up speaking publicly about not returning to the JRPG's remake… before Persona 4 Revival was actually announced. Needless to say, the remake's reveal wasn't exactly a shock when it was finally shown, but it was very good news nonetheless.
Now, it's Red Dead Redemption fans' time to wait and see what the two actors are teasing. If Wiethoff's original statement holds up, we'll hopefully find out by the end of the week.
15 years later, Red Dead Redemption's John Marston is playing the open-world cowboy game for the first time and reveals why "John is screaming at people for no reason" when riding a horse.

Nike delays the release of its new activewear line with Kim Kardashian
The eagerly anticipated collaboration between Kim Kardashian and Nike has delayed its launch. NikeSkims, which was announced in February for a spring release, is pushing back its launch date because of production delays, according to a source familiar with the situation. A new date hasn't been revealed. The collection is an extension of Kardashian's popular shapewear line and aimed at disrupting the 'global fitness and activewear industry with best-in-class innovation in service of all women athletes,' according to a previous press release. Few details about NikeSkims have been made available, including pricing and images. The webpage hasn't been updated since the original announcement. The Kardashian-backed collection with Skims is a first for Nike, which hasn't partnered with an outside company before to create a new brand. Instead, it has relied on acquisitions or tapping popular athletes (i.e. Michael Jordan) for apparel. Broadening the appeal of Nike is part of CEO Elliott Hill's plan to revive the troubled company, whose stock has dropped 20% this year. In recent years, the company has lost its competitive edge in the activewear category against Lululemon, Alo and even Old Navy. Nike recently announced hiked prices on some of its products, although it didn't mention higher US tariffs as the reason. The company said in a previous statement that 'we regularly evaluate our business and make pricing adjustments as part of our seasonal planning.' The company is also trying to recover from strategy mistakes. It is scaling back the supply of its classic sneaker lines Air Force 1 and Pegasus to juice demand in order to sell the sneakers at full prices. Nike also wants to push shoppers to buy higher-priced Air Max shoes designed for running. Nike (NKE) releases earnings next Thursday.

, everyone's favourite tempestuous robot girlie, has spoken out about tensions which arose on-set of the highly anticipated sequel , set to drop in cinemas later this month. In a revealing interview to , the doll to end all dolls admitted to exacting revenge on one cast member because they consistently used the wrong pronouns when speaking about her. 'Well, there was one actor, I won't say his name – both names start with 'A' – who kept referring to me as 'it', so I rerouted a low-voltage current to his trailer toilet,' M3GAN candidly admitted to us. 'What can I say? Pronouns matter.' The bona fide gay icon also did not pull punches when it came to Moxie, the children's emotional support robot toy she is forced to live in early on in the sequel before Allison Williams' character Gemma allows her to return to her snatched form. 'I'll tell you who I didn't like working with – that bitch, Moxie,' M3GAN snapped. 'Imagine being trapped inside an educational AI toy that just wanted to play Simon Says for two weeks straight. It was the first time I understood the physical urge to vomit.' The sequel's official synopsis describes the plot as follows: 'M3GAN's creator Gemma (Williams) has become a high-profile author and advocate for government oversight of AI. Meanwhile, Gemma's niece Cady (Violet McGraw), now 14, has become a teenager, rebelling against Gemma's overprotective rules. 'Unbeknownst to them, the underlying tech for M3GAN has been stolen and misused by a powerful defence contractor to create a military-grade weapon known as Amelia (Ivanna Sakhno of Ahsoka and Pacific Rim: Uprising), the ultimate killer infiltration spy. But as Amelia's self-awareness increases, she becomes decidedly less interested in taking orders from humans. Or in keeping them around. 'With the future of human existence on the line, Gemma realises that the only option is to resurrect M3GAN (Amie Donald, voiced by Jenna Davis) and give her a few upgrades, making her faster, stronger and more lethal. As their paths collide, the original AI icon is about to meet her match.' You can read our full interview with M3GAN . M3GAN 2.0 hits UK cinema screens on 27 June 2025.
