Plenty of eyes will be on that game to see how Williams and the other first-stringers for the Bears perform in a new offensive system. We also have the Jaguars-Saints game as a betting option, a matchup that will feature No. 2 pick Travis Hunter and Saints rookie quarterback Tyler Shough.
The biggest MLB game on Sunday is undoubtedly the Padres-Dodgers series finale. This game will have a big impact on the National League West race. Other games like Yankees-Cardinals, Brewers-Reds and Mariners-Mets have playoff implications as well.

As noted above, we know that the Bears starters are going to get some work in the game against the Bills. For that reason, the Bears are listed as slight favorites in the matchup. One Little Leaguer had no interest in meeting ‘overrated' Juan Soto

Access the Mets beat like never before Join Post Sports+ for exciting subscriber-only features, including real-time texting with Mike Puma about the inside buzz on the Mets. Try it free Juan Soto's All-Star exploits haven't endeared him to everyone. On Sunday morning, hours before Soto's Mets would face off against the Mariners in the MLB Little League Classic, the Vancouver and Brisbane squads faced off, with Canadian broadcaster TSN inquiring which MLB stars the youngsters were excited to meet later in the day. Team Canada's Misha Lee did not hold back after his Australian counterpart answered with Soto. 'Eh, he's kinda overrated,' Lee said. 'He's alright.' Lee, a pitcher/first baseman for the Canuck side, revealed he was much more interested in getting a glimpse of the Big Dumper himself, Mariners catcher Cal Raleigh. Canada certainly channeled their favorite sluggers, racking up 13 hits over six innings and posting five runs in the fifth frame en route to a 12-0 win over the Aussies. Mets outfielder Juan Soto (22) reacts after being walked against the Seattle Mariners in the third inning at Journey Bank Ballpark. Kyle Ross-Imagn Images When Little League play came to a close on the day, everyone packed into Journey Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport, Pa., and they certainly got a show from the MLB teams. Mark Vientos' three-run homer keyed the Mets to a 7-3 win that included a two-run long ball from Raleigh in the seventh inning. CHECK OUT THE LATEST MLB STANDINGS AND METS STATS Many of the young fans in attendance, however, asked for — and received — a show from Soto, who entered the stadium to adoring fans and stopped to sigh autographs. In the bottom of the eighth, the Little Leaguers began to chant for the Dominican superstar's patented 'Soto Shuffle,' and he delivered in a delightful scene. While Soto's final line — 0-for-2 with three walks and a stolen bases — may not have been the power display the kids were hoping for, the Mets won their second straight game, a feat they hadn't accomplished in weeks.

6 standouts from Bears' dominant preseason win vs. Bills

The Chicago Bears dominated the Buffalo Bills in a 38-0 preseason win on Sunday night at Soldier Field, which included impressive showings on offense and defense. Quarterback Caleb Williams made his preseason debut, along with the rest of the starters, and he didn't disappoint. Williams and the offense came out firing on the first series of the game, completing 5-of-6 passes for 97 yards on a seven-play, 92-yard scoring drive that culminated in a 36-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Olamide Zaccheaus. That set the tone for Tyson Bagent and the second-team offense, who scored three consecutive touchdown drives and gave Austin Reed and the third string a 31-point cushion. On defense, it was a flat-out dominant showing. While Josh Allen and Buffalo's starters didn't play in this one, it's never easy to hold a team scoreless. But the Bears, thanks in large part to their defensive coordinator Dennis Allen, established an aggressive tone early and carried that through the remainder of the game with sacks and takeaways. Here are some standouts from Sunday night's blowout win vs. Bills: QB Caleb Williams Caleb Williams' debut in Ben Johnson's offense got off to a hot start with an impressive seven-play, 92-yard scoring drive that culminated in a 36-yard touchdown. Williams completed 5-of-6 passes for 97 yards, a score and a perfect 158.3 passer rating. The second series wasn't as successful, ending in a punt after wide receiver Rome Odunze failed to haul in a pass on third down, but Williams' night was an overall productive one. Williams completed 6-of-10 passes for 107 yards, one touchdown and a 130.0 passer rating. But, most importantly, he looked comfortable, decisive and sharp in his first live action since Johnson stepped in as head coach. QB Tyson Bagent Caleb Williams set the tone for the Bears' quarterbacks in this prime-time game, and Tyson Bagent had a sensational outing as he continues to stake his claim for the QB2 job. Bagent played for two quarters and led three consecutive touchdown drives to give Chicago a commanding 28-0 lead in the first half. Bagent completed 13-of-22 passes for 196 yards with one touchdown and a 103.6 passer rating. He continues to showcase why he'll most likely be the team's backup quarterback and also why he deserves a chance to compete for a starting job elsewhere. But, good news for the Bears, he's on their team. RB Ian Wheeler How's this for a redemption story? Less than a year after he tore his ACL in Chicago's preseason finale, running back Ian Wheeler had a commanding showing against the Bills. Wheeler saw substantial playing time with D'Andre Swift, Roschon Johnson and Kyle Monangai all sidelined, and he made the most of it. Wheeler led the Bears in rushing with 19 carries for 80 yards (averaging 4.2 yards per carry) and two touchdowns. He likely would've had the hat trick had Chicago not gone in victory formation to close out the game inside the red zone. Wheeler is stating his case for a roster spot following an impressive outing. WR Olamide Zaccheaus Olamide Zaccheaus has emerged as one of Caleb Williams' favorite targets this summer, and we saw that translate to the field in Sunday night's game. Williams connected with Zaccheaus on a 36-yard touchdown, where Zaccheaus had some nice yards after the catch. Zaccheaus had one catch on two targets, but it was a small sample size and reflected his importance in this offense heading into the regular season. WR Luther Burden III The Bears got a steal in rookie Luther Burden in the second round of the 2025 NFL draft, and he showed why against the Bills. Burden caught all three passes thrown his way for 49 yards (which ranked second behind Tyler Scott), where we saw his ability to gain yards after the catch. While Burden showcased his playmaking ability in the passing game, he also showed up big in run blocking. Burden had two big goal-line blocks that led to touchdowns, and it's clear that the young wideout has bought into Ben Johnson's philosophy. As Johnson's saying goes, "No block, no rock." And Burden took that personally. WR Tyler Scott The Bears have a loaded wide receivers room, and there are plenty of players making their case for the final roster spot. Tyler Scott is certainly in contention for that final spot, and he put on an impressive performance with Tyson Bagent throwing him the ball. Scott led Chicago in receiving with 54 yards on three receptions, including an 11-yard touchdown reception from Bagent. Scott is certainly making a strong statement when it comes to earning one of those final roster spots.

How old is Joe Flacco? Where QB ranks among NFL's oldest players

The Cleveland Browns named Joe Flacco their starting quarterback to begin the 2025 NFL season. The 18-year veteran will provide the Browns with a wealth of experience as he takes on the job. Flacco has been in the league since the Baltimore Ravens made him the 18th overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft. He has played in 196 career regular-season games with 191 starts over that span, posting a 105-86 record over that span. Flacco led the Ravens to a Super Bowl 47 victory, a contest for which he earned MVP honors. He has completed 61.7% of his passes for 45,697 yards, 257 touchdowns and 162 interceptions across his 17 NFL seasons to date. Just how old is Joe Flacco? Here's what to know about the veteran signal-caller's age and where he ranks among the league's oldest players. How old is Joe Flacco? Joe Flacco is 40 years old. The 2025 NFL season will be his 18th, and he has played with the Ravens, Denver Broncos, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts and Browns during his career. JOE FLACCO: QB's first Browns stint, revisited Oldest NFL players for 2025 Flacco is one of just three active NFL players over the age of 40. Only Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (41) and New York Jets kicker Nick Folk (40) are older than him. Below is a look at the 10 oldest NFL players for the 2025 NFL season. Rodgers and Flacco will become the first pair of 40-year-old quarterbacks to start in the same season since Tom Brady and Drew Brees did so in 2020, when Brady was 43 and Brees was 41. The 2025 NFL season will be just the eighth in league history during which multiple quarterbacks aged 40 or older have started at least one game.
