On the Billboard Hot 100 chart dated Sept. 23, 2006, Swift made her arrival as her debut single, 'Tim McGraw,' entered at No. 86. (It was already scaling the Hot Country Songs chart at the time.)
Since then, Swift has become one of the most accomplished artists in the Hot 100's entire history.
As of the Hot 100 dated Aug. 16, 2025, Swift boasts 264 career charted titles – the most among women. Her 59 top 10s and 165 top 40 hits (of which 'Tim McGraw' became her first, rising to No. 40) are also the most among women, while her 12 No. 1s place her in a tie for the sixth-most leaders among all acts.
Swift, having deftly traversed country, pop, adult alternative and more genres, has consistently added to her Hot 100 legacy. In 2012, she scored her first No. 1 with 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,' while in 2021, she defied the belief that pop music caters only to shorter attention spans, as, thanks to an update of a fan favorite, she notched the longest No. 1 single in the survey's archives: 'All Too Well (Taylor's Version),' at 10 minutes and 13 seconds in length.
A year later, Swift achieved the unprecedented feat of monopolizing the Hot 100's top 10 in a single frame, as, on the chart dated Nov. 5, 2022, she infused the region with 10 tracks from her 2022 album Midnights, led by the No. 1 launch of the set's lead single, 'Anti-Hero.' On the May 4, 2024, Hot 100 she rewrote her own record, charting the entire top 14 titles with songs from her LP The Tortured Poets Department.
Meanwhile, beyond her chart triumphs, Swift was honored as the first Woman of the Decade at Billboard's 2019 Women In Music celebration, not just for her commercial success, but for her commitment to protecting creative rights, music education, literacy programs, cancer research, disaster relief and the Time's Up initiative. Plus, when she was unable to reclaim the masters of her first six albums, she forged a new path by re-recording her catalog, and earning even more chart honors in the process, including her 2023 Hot 100 No. 1 'Is It Over Now? (Taylor's Version) [From the Vault].' (Swift revealed on May 30, 2025, that she had regained ownership of her masters from Shamrock Capital.)
Of all of Swift's songs, which are her biggest Hot 100 hits? Browse the list below, ranking her top titles from No. 50 to No. 1.
Taylor Swift's 50 Biggest Billboard Hot 100 hits ranking is based on weekly performance on the Hot 100 (through Aug. 16, 2025). Travis Kelce Accused Of Acting Like A 'Dumb Pet' Next To Taylor Swift During Her Podcast Appearance

Taylor Swift recently made her debut podcast appearance on her boyfriend Travis Kelce's "New Heights" show, where she announced her 12th studio album. On the podcast, the NFL star was seemingly all over his girlfriend as he sat next to her, praising the "Bad Blood" hitmaker for using "big" words and being the "best songwriter in the world." However, fans have now slammed the Kansas City Chiefs tight end for acting like a "dumb pet," while others suggested Taylor Swift was too smart for Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce. Travis Kelce's Behavior During The Podcast Has Come Under Scrutiny Swift joined her boyfriend Kelce on the Wednesday episode of "New Heights" podcast, where she revealed the tracklist for her upcoming album "The Life Of A Showgirl," which she said would drop on October 3. The lovebirds looked so smitten with each other as they took turns to share some insights about their relationship. At some points, they unabashedly flaunted some major PDA, with Swift maintaining a bright grin throughout. During the show, the "Blank Space" singer talked about a variety of subjects like numerology and Shakespeare with her boyfriend and his brother, Jason. Kelce, seemingly in awe of the Grammy winner, praised her for using "big words" after she said the term "exoteric," prompting Swift to clarify that he actually knows what the word means before late calling the football player "handsome." However, not all viewers were particularly pleased with how the pair behaved, with many accusing Kelce of acting "dumb." Fans Scrutinize Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce's Actions During The Podcast Some Internet users took to social media to accuse Swift of treating Kelce like a child or, as one commenter colorfully put it, a "dumb pet." "This is giving me baby talking to my cat. 'Oh, you're so stupid! You're so cute and stupid! Just a tiny brain cell! Such a cute, stupid baby!" a Reddit user wrote. "It's giving him being slow, and her treating him like a dumb pet," someone else declared, while another compared her to a "my know-it-all friend" they had in middle school who "got a thesaurus for Christmas at 12 and suddenly discovered four-syllable words that she would just inject into every sentence possible." "I was trying not to scratch my eyes out when [Jason] asked what numerology was…you can't like…critically think for two seconds at what that might have to do with?? Really? There is literally no way," another user penned. Netizens Claim The Singer Was Too 'Smart' For The Brothers Amid the criticism, others just thought Swift was too smart for Kelce, and that the NFL star was just being a "simp" for her. "Travis Kelce is actually King of the Himbos and simps, and I hope he becomes a role model for every dumb white man," one user wrote. Another added, "She is just sooooo much smarter, like incredibly smarter than them, and I don't know how she stands hanging out with them for more than 38 seconds at a time bc she's had to explain herself about 113 times this whole show." A third person wrote on X, "Travis really out here simping over vocabulary." Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce Talked Shakespeare During their discussion, Swift opened up on how she drew inspiration from Shakespeare with the opening song of her album. The singer then revealed that she had to give Kelce a rundown on Shakespeare's tragedy, Hamlet, because he had never read it before. She revealed that the first track is titled "The Fate Of Ophelia," with "Ophelia" being a character from Shakespeare's Hamlet. When she announced the name of the first track, Kelce asked his brother, "Do you know what Fate of Ophelia is?" The singer then looked at her boyfriend while smiling and asked, "You want to talk about Hamlet?" "I don't want to get Jason all riled up," Kelce replied. Swift then told Jason that her boyfriend "might not have read Hamlet" but that she "explained it to him." "Don't tell my middle school English teacher I didn't read it. Because I definitely was supposed to," the Super Bowl winner joked. After Jason laughed at him, the tight end replied, "It's alright, I watched 'The Lion King.'" "See, he knows what 'Hamlet' is," Swift excitedly chimed in, referencing how the play inspired the Disney animated musical. Taylor Swift Recalls Awkward Football Question On Their First Date Elsewhere on the show, Swift shared insight into what their first date looked like, applauding Kelce for not being "judgmental." The couple have been together since 2023, and have remained very public supporters of each other, with Swift often attending his games while the athlete stops by at her shows. However, things were seemingly awkward on their first date as Swift admits she didn't know anything about football. "On our first date, I legitimately asked him what it was like when the Chiefs played the Eagles in the Super Bowl, and he looked across the field across the line of scrimmage and saw his brother standing on the other… five feet in front of him on the field," she recalled. Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs previously faced the Philadelphia Eagles in 2022 when his brother Jason was still on the team before he ultimately retired. "[Travis] didn't even look at me. Like, I now know what an insane question that was," Swift said, referencing her question. "He was like, 'Actually, I'm on the offense and my brother's on the offense, and I'm only on the field at the same time as the defense.' I thought everyone was on the field at the same time." What Taylor Swift said at age 14 about becoming a star

Taylor Swift now has " The Life of a Showgirl," but at a young age, she knew her "Love Story" with songwriting would lead her to the music industry -- whether she was a star or not. " Good Morning America" interviewed Swift in 2005 when the now 35-year-old was just 14 years old and trying to make her way in Nashville. When asked what she would do if she didn't become a music star, Swift said she would be a songwriter. "If I'm not a star, then I guess I'm going to be a writer. I know that what I want to do is music, because everyone is like, 'Yeah, you should do what you love,' and this is what I love," Swift said at the time. "This is what I feel I was meant to do, because I think it means something when you can't put a guitar down, you can't stop writing, you can't stop thinking about new ideas for songs." She continued, "I would be a writer for other artists. I'm just totally infatuated with this business and everything about it." Just over one decade later, Swift is a 14-time Grammy winner who last year wrapped up her record-breaking Eras Tour and this week announced her 12th studio album, "The Life of a Showgirl." In the 2005 interview with "GMA," Swift described the first time she held a guitar as being "like magic." "As soon as I learned three chords, I never put it down," she said. When asked what she thought was the scariest thing about moving to Nashville and trying to make a career in music, Swift answered with a fear she never ultimately had to worry about: failure. "The scariest thing I think is failure, because it's so common, and it happens so much. I think I would just be so scared that, you know, nothing would ever happen," Swift said. "But then, then that was what was meant to happen, I think. So I think it's just always going to be OK. That's how I'm seeing it, is just try to get where you want to go, but if it doesn't happen, your life is still -- it's still OK." She added, "But I'm really, really, really, really, really, really trying." Watch the full interview with 14-year-old Swift here.
