Watch: Video of Caitlin Clark scoring barrage in Iowa practice goes viral
Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has plenty of stories that add to her legend. We have footage to go along with one of those stories, now.
Iowa Hawkeyes fans and others have likely heard of Clark's apparent 22-point barrage in 2 minutes during a scrimmage against Iowa's gray squad, a practice team consisting of male students. There's now video to back up what Clark has mentioned before, and it's just as incredible as it sounded.

Clark hoisted 3-pointer after 3-pointer, some from nearly halfcourt and others while falling to her left or kicking out a leg in midair.

The video was uncovered on March 22, 2024, but went viral on Tuesday after Barstool Sports' Dave Portnoy shared the clip. "She is the one," Portnoy wrote.
Clark also talked about the scrimmage in a recent interview with David Letterman on Netflix's "My Guest Needs No Introduction," which also brought attention to the performance.

"We were down 15, and we made a couple of 3-pointers to cut it down to 10," Clark said. "I think I had 22 points in like two minutes."
Letterman replied: "22 points in two minutes?"
"Usually, I'm never shocked when I hit a big shot, but after like my fifth 3-pointer in a row, I was like, 'Oh my gosh,'" Clark said. "I couldn't believe it. We ended up winning, and our boy practice players didn't hear the end of it."
Portnoy's repost of the video has over 2.4 million views as of Tuesday afternoon, with another repost of the video from a Clark fan account notching over 2 million, as well.

The 23-year-old guard was a WNBA All-Star in her first professional season after being drafted No. 1 overall. The NCAA's all-time leading scorer won back-to-back national player of the year awards in 2023 and 2024 and was a four-time All-American with the Hawkeyes.
It was recently announced the Indiana Fever will have more nationally televised games than any WNBA team this season, in large part due to Clark's influence. Forty-one of the Fever's 44 games will air on national TV.

U.S. Open: Players Defend Wyndham Clark's Locker Room Destruction
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. So much has been made this week of Oakmont Country Club's carnage created for players at the 2025 U.S. Open. More players finished worse than 20-over par than are in red figures. Just think about that. The cut line landed at +7, with several stars falling below including defending champion Bryson DeChambeau. But so too did the 2023 U.S. Open winner, Wyndham Clark. Clark bogeyed his 36th and final hole to miss the cut by a single stroke. Afterward, he allegedly took out his frustration on the members locker rooms at Oakmont Country Club. 🚨🥾🚪 #NEW: Wyndham Clark allegedly damaged several lockers in the change room at Oakmont Country Club following a missed cut, per @TronCarterNLU. Additionally, Clark recently destroyed a T-mobile sign at the PGA Championship not long ago. Is this behaviour acceptable? — NUCLR GOLF (@NUCLRGOLF) June 15, 2025 Images of the destruction surfaced, prompting fans reactions. But after news of the incident surfaced, pro golfers have come to his defense. "This is minimal regards what I've seen other players do. Players you would never expect. Oakmont will test any players mental fortitude. Seen it in person. Guess who? 2016," Graeme McDowell cryptically posted. Interestingly, the 2016 U.S. Open he is referencing also was played at Oakmont. Not that that's an excuse. Generally it's been when I've felt the USGA have pushed the limits over the edge 🤦🏼♂️," Ian Poulter then replied to the tweet. This was not the first time Clark has left his own carnage behind. A month ago, he flung his golf club and damaged the T-Mobile sign at the PGA Championship. That prompted an extensive apology from the former U.S. Open winner on social media. That begs the question whether Clark will post anything after his latest reported outburst. Will he receive any fines? After the two best years of his professional career in 2023 and 2024, things have not gone well in 2025. Caitlin Clark Bracing for Tough Situation After Return From Injury originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Advertisement Clark proved on Saturday that she lives for the big moments. With the spotlights all over her, the 23-year-old turned in her best performance of the campaign. Clark dropped a season-high 32 points on 11-of-20 shooting, while also knocking down seven triples on the evening. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) during a game. Trevor Ruszkowski-Imagn Images After the game, Clark spoke openly about how good her body felt during the game. Clearly, the quad injury that kept her out for the past three weeks was a non-issue against New York. Advertisement "My legs felt really strong, I felt in good shape," Clark said, via Michael Voepel of ESPN. "A lot of that is credit to our medical team. They have kept me in shape." "Now for me, it's just how I recover, especially with the schedule that we have coming up." Clark revealed that she is currently still on the road to full recovery after missing an extended period. The next couple of weeks will be a tough stretch for Indiana as they play six games in the span of 11 days. Clark and the Fever's medical team will use the next two days to make sure that Clark is able to recover well ahead of their next game, which is on Tuesday against the Connecticut Sun. Advertisement After all, Clark will still need to shake off some of that rust and get her conditioning back up to 100% following a lengthy spell on the sidelines. This is despite the fact that her performance on Saturday night seems to indicate otherwise.
