Married At First Sight's Awhina breaks silence on Billy romance after pair went ‘Instagram official'
Awhina Rutene and Billy Belcher have been hit with rampant romance rumours after they went 'Instagram official' with one another after their series of MAFS Australia came to an end earlier this year.

Just last month, the fan-favourite pair seemingly went official after teasing their new relationship on social media.
Paired up with Adrian Araouzou on the hit Channel 9 and E4 series, things were not rosy for Awhina with it ending on bad terms by the end of the experiment.
Meanwhile, Billy was coupled with Sierah Swepstone before she and Adrian revealed they had a connection.
After leaving the show, Awhina and Billy got close, with their "romance" leaving fans stunned last month.
But despite reports saying that the pair are together after they went Instagram official, The Sun can reveal this is not the case.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun about her relationship with Billy, Awhina got candid and opened up about their bond.
"Billy and I are really close, like, I've done so many podcasts on our relationship. We are extremely close, like, I'm seeing him on Thursday," she told us in our chat this week.
She added: "We speak a lot over the phone he calls me. I've gone to the movies with his mum.
"I've hung out with his sister multiple times, hung out with his brother.
"He's hung out with my family a lot. We've been very close since November last year.
MAFS groom slammed over 'misogynistic' post as he shares 'high standards' for future girlfriend after bitter show split
"But the thing with our relationship is sometimes it can get confusing, because the world's heavily involved," she explained.
She later added: "I think that you can still have a beautiful relationship without being romantic and without ruining anything."
Awhina noted that their "friendship line can be a bit blurred" but affirmed that she loves him.
Opening up about why their relationship likely won't progress into anything romantic, she said that their life's trajectories look quite different.
"I love Billy. He's such a family man, but I also know what the next 5 years looks like for him," she added, explaining his love for travelling.
"I generally hope Billy gets everything he wants out of life... but the next 5 years look very different, like what I want versus what he wants.
"So it's kind of like... as much of those lines can be blurry... If we were to cross that line we'd probably lose our friendship down in like a year or two."
She then explained how she is keen to start dating again and expand her family even more.
"I truly want to get back into a relationship because I was in one for so long. Like 14 years," she told us.
"I like being a partner to someone, and I still want to grow my family like I'm not one and done. I want at least 3 kids.
"So my next 5 years looks like, when I'm ready to get back out there and start dating, grow my family, and probably go offline."

Melbourne's music scene mourns the passing of legendary rocker after long battle with cancer: 'The most charismatic frontman I've ever seen'
Melbourne 's live music community is mourning the sudden death of local rock legend Andrew Hosking, who died aged 64 on Thursday after a long battle with cancer. Known affectionately as Hocka, Hosking was the frontman of iconic Melbourne pub rock band Coupe Deville, who performed across Australia for over 35 years. His death was confirmed on social media by his close friend and former bandmate, comedian Marty Fields. 'It's with great sadness that I report the passing of my dear old mate Andrew Hosking,' Marty began. 'We played together in his band Coupe Deville 35 years ago. Terrible singer, bad musician. 'But the most extraordinarily charismatic frontman I've ever seen. And a beautiful bloke. Vale, mate.' With powerful vocals and magnetic charisma, Hosking gave his all at every venue where he performed. From the first note to the final encore, Hosking delivered more than a performance—he created a shared experience. Fans recall how he would bring the crowd into his performances, making everyone feel appreciated. Away from the stage, the Melbourne musician was equally loved for his generosity, sharp wit and down-to-earth nature. Hosking's musical career even saw him release a single in 1990 called Peninsula Girls, while his live shows became the stuff of legend at venues across Melbourne. Friends say he was always ready with a laugh, happy to lend an ear and deeply committed to the people around him. Heartbroken friends and fans took to social media to pay tribute to Hosking. 'RIP mate. You were one of the greats of the Melbourne music scene and entertained so many. Hope they have a coupe de'ville for you to cruise the heavens,' one wrote. 'Today we lost the bestest of people! An icon to the Melbourne music scene,' a second added. 'Saddened by the news of the passing of a Melbourne music icon, and good friend to all,' a third chipped in. Whether rehearsing a new set, catching up with mates, or supporting other artists behind the scenes, Hosking always gave his all to everything. He leaves behind not only a catalogue of electrifying performances, but also a legacy of fellowship, joy and countless stories.

The Block star shocks followers as she strips naked in very racy clip
A former Block star left her followers wide-eyed after she uploaded a very raunchy clip to her social media this week. Kylie Baker, 37, shared the footage to Instagram on Friday night as she flaunted her naked figure in a barely-there fishnet outfit. The risqué ensemble left little to the imagination, with her modesty only covered by thin, criss-crossing threads connected by a series of perfectly round cut-outs. The daring design flashed plenty of skin as it clung to her frame, creating a peek-a-boo effect which shocked followers. 'Take me to hell. I'm going to start again. #takemetohell #poison #L1e #LuckyLuke #fnq #weekend,' Kylie captioned the clip. It comes after Kylie all but confirmed she was back together with her husband Brad Baker. Kylie, who walked out on The Block and her partner in 2024 after his flirting scandal was exposed on-air, posted a steamy picture to Instagram featuring a telling detail. 'I've noticed you around #night #naughty #mummy #uptonogood,' she captioned the sultry snap, which showed her wearing a floral-motif lace top. However, it was the person in the background, whose face was shielded by Kylie's hand, who prompted fans to speculate Brad was back in her life. 'Get out of the way. Show us the good looking roosters behind ya @_bradleybaker_ ,' one person wrote in the comments section. In the final weeks of The Block, fans watched on as Kylie and Brad's seven-year marriage imploded on-air in what came to be known as the 'flirtgate scandal '. During the show, the Cairns-based tradesman told fellow Blockhead Mimi Belperio he would 'follow' her adult subscription account if she had one. On overhearing the remark, Kylie stormed off to her room, and chaos ensued backstage. Kylie quit production and flew home to Cairns to be with her four kids, who she shares with Brad, leaving a giant question mark on the show's finale. At the time, Brad said he believed his marriage was 'done' and that he had 'single-handedly destroyed my family' with his actions after Kylie suddenly abandoned the series. However, the couple later returned for the auction of their Block build and rekindled their relationship, before sparking rumours of a separation yet again. Since the show's conclusion, fans have been speculating as to whether the couple have got back together or not, with various posts and comments alluding to the possibility they might have. Mimi, whose husband Kristian was also a contestant on the show, later revealed she thought the incident was blown out of proportion, according to Pedestrian TV.

Western Bulldogs star Jamarra Ugle-Hagan opens up on how he is conquering his mental health battles
There is renewed hope that Jamarra Ugle-Hagan could return to the AFL in the near future after the Western Bulldogs star opened up on his mental health struggles - and how he is battling them. Ugle-Hagan, 23, has not played for the Bulldogs since early March 2025, with the club citing mental health reasons. On March 16, during a Bulldogs match, he was allegedly spotted at a Melbourne pub instead of attending, prompting public criticism from Essendon great James Hird. By late March, speculation surged on fan forums after 65 pages of posts detailed rumours about his absence and commitment. In July, his ex-girlfriend Liv Kelly - who had lived with him since 2022 - posted a cryptic TikTok about 'staying silent to protect someone,' sparking intense debate. She followed up with comments such as 'We love a narcissist,' which many fans interpreted as aimed at Ugle-Hagan. On June 10, Ugle-Hagan revealed on the Rip Through It podcast that he had checked into a northern NSW health retreat after suffering suicidal thoughts and giving his car to a mate so he couldn't drive. He admitted his passion for footy had faded, filling the gap with drinking and socialising with friends. Rumours of him moving to Geelong intensified in late July after he was tagged in an Instagram photo taken in the Cats' dressing room on match day. Despite the noise, he returned to Bulldogs training in early August, saying he wanted to stay and win a premiership. Now he made a rare public appearance and declared that he was back in love with the game, working on himself in a bid to return to the AFL arena. 'Mentally I'm getting better,' Ugle-Hagan told News Corp. 'I'm journalling every morning as soon as I wake up. 'I feel like that is more in my interest now to get me through this tough time. 'I love training myself and putting myself through something I can get better in. It is an easier way for me.' Ugle-Hagan, currently single, says spending time with supportive friends helps keep his mental health on track. On Thursday night, he stepped outside his comfort zone to attend the Melbourne International Film Festival gala at Hoyts Melbourne Central. He later mingled at the lavish State Library after-party, chatting with MIFF board member and actor Tony Briggs. Ugle-Hagan attended as the guest of actor Kylah Day, a recent Logie nominee for most popular new talent. Also spending time with friend and content creator Brooke Blurton, he said they are part of a close-knit support group. 'I've had some things go on this year and it has been challenging. But the fact that I can show up to events like this makes me feel a lot better,' he said. 'It is good to get out other than just football. Socialising is a really massive thing and just distracts yourself from, I don't know, just natural life, your wellbeing. 'It is a distraction and embraces who you are.' 'I've got a support team. A family I've created in Melbourne and bonded with and that's why it is so hard to definitely fall off now.
