'Twilight' Heartthrob Is Unrecognizable After Major Style Switch-Up: 'Be Still My Millennial Heart'
'Twilight' Heartthrob Is Unrecognizable After Major Style Switch-Up: 'Be Still My Millennial Heart' originally appeared on Parade. As the countless devoted fans of the Twilight film series know, Cullen family member Jasper Hale — played by Jackson Rathbone — was known for his wavy, chin-length blonde hair (and startling amber eyes). But as a recent video proved, Rathbone has definitely moved on from his iconic character's fans can't get enough. In a clip shared to TikTok this week, Rathbone, 40, sat in a chair at a hair salon, where his brown locks had recently been cut into a more close-cropped 'do. As the hairdresser cleaned up the edges with his clippers, he seemed to nick Rathbone, saying, "Oh, geez, did I get you?" Rathbone's answer — delivered while looking directly into the camera — came courtesy of a soundbite featuring Jasper's iconic line from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse: "Those are my battle scars." Commenters made it clear they approved of his new style, with one gushing, "He's still so fiiiiiine." "Damn, he's finer than ever," a second person agreed, with another adding, "Aged like fine wine." "Be still my lil millennial heart omg," declared someone else. In a 2008 interview with Seventeen, Rathbone opened up about dying his naturally dark hair blonde for the Twilight movies, saying, "I really enjoyed it." "I was always a character actor when I was in theatre," he continued. "I kind of find that it helps the audience, especially with Jasper. I mean I'm not actually blonde so I had to bleach my hair blonde. I'm fairly pale. I'm more of an indoor sports kind of guy. I'm a musician so I spent most of my time awake at night and in the recording studio tucked away from the sun." "But I really do love to change appearances for a lot of the characters I play," Rathbone added.'Twilight' Heartthrob Is Unrecognizable After Major Style Switch-Up: 'Be Still My Millennial Heart' first appeared on Parade on Aug 15, 2025 This story was originally reported by Parade on Aug 15, 2025, where it first appeared.

New Heights' YouTube glitch raises concerns about Chiefs-Chargers in Week 1
Whenever the NFL migrates to a new streaming platform, concerns emerge as to whether it will work. As it relates to the upcoming Week 1 game to be streamed for free on YouTube, a concern has emerged as to whether it will work. As noted by Chris Bumbaca of USA Today, a glitch in the live stream of megastar Taylor Swift's visit to the New Heights podcast with Travis and Jason Kelce has raised the question of whether Chiefs-Chargers, which happens three weeks from tonight, will support 20 million or more concurrent streams. The New Heights stream abruptly ended with 15 minutes left in show. While it was resolved, it's fair to ask whether there will be any outages during Chiefs-Chargers. A Google spokesperson told Bumbaca that the New Heights glitch was not a YouTube issue. While there's nothing wrong with being concerned, it would be a surprise if the game doesn't stream without issue. Netflix's Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight has significant issues. Six weeks later, a pair of Christmas games on Netflix worked without incident. YouTube knows what it needs. And the league wouldn't have been inclined to make a bet with YouTube if the NFL wasn't sure YouTube could deliver. We'll find out in 21 days.

How Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Subtly Revealed They're Living Together on 'New Heights'
THE RUNDOWN Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have enjoyed a lot of downtime together, out of the public eye this year, following the end of Kelce's NFL season and Swift's Eras Tour. While multiple outlets have reported they are house hunting together, the couple subtly confirmed they're already living together (at least part-time) during their New Heights podcast appearance. (They also subtly addressed engagement rumors, too.) Swift spoke about listening to Kelce record New Heights in his house, confirming she was there but off-camera during previous episodes. She was asked what her favorite segment of the show was, and she responded, 'I like New News just because of the screaming. I hear him screaming, 'New News,' from across the house constantly. It's my favorite part. He'll be like, 'New News, New News,' and I'm in the kitchen being like, 'New News.' So I love that because of just the bellowing of it.' Kelce later spoke about the hobbies Swift picked up at home post-tour. 'It's been so fun to see what Taylor actually gets into around the house,' he said. She added, 'I'd say all my hobbies could be categorized as hobbies you could have had in the 1700s. I get all my granny shit.' One activity of hers particularly got Kelce talking though. 'I love to cook,' she said. 'I have a different baking obsession every six months.' 'I'm the luckiest man in the world,' Kelce interjected. 'Right now, we're very deep in a sourdough obsession that has taken over my life,' she continued. 'I'm lucky I'm working as much as I am,' Kelce quipped, hinting she is baking in his home. '[That] I'm running as much as I am because I am getting the caloric intake.' 'Yeah, he asked me to send him two loaves of sourdough at training camp,' she said. 'I'm like wrapping sourdough loaves in like, Saran wrap film. The sourdough has taken over my life in a huge way.' Earlier this month, multiple sources told local outlet Cleveland Scene that Swift and Kelce 'visited at least two opulent homes currently for sale in Northeast Ohio's tony eastside suburbs' during a July trip. It came after a source told Us Weekly in late January that Swift and Kelce were considering purchasing property together. 'When they have time, they want to look at real estate,' the insider said then. '[They've] talked about exploring buying a home together.'
