However, after weeks of them appearing to be the strongest couple of the series, viewers were left shocked when things went rapidly downhill for them.

But Dave has now opened up about the heartbreaking reason for the breakdown in his
marriage
.
'It was cut out but I'd actually actually had a couch session before that one where I broke down and cried, because I was worried about my feelings not progressing," the MAFS star exclusively told The Sun.
'It was because of what was going on with my dad back at home.
'They didn't show that but I did communicate it all, but it came across as 'Dave has done a backflip on his emotions.

'But it was after the retreat that his chemotherapy was really affecting him and I addressed the situation and said 'I'm worried that my feelings aren't there yet with Jamie because of what's going on at home.'
'I was definitely in two places, and when you met my dad the other night I said I was in two places again. It made it hard to enjoy myself.'

He also candidly revealed another reason for his change of heart: "I'm not a hugely sexual person and that's not where I find my connection with someone, but maybe on Jamie's side it is super important to her.
'There was a bit of a mismatch in that side of things.
'We had talked about all of that off camera before and I sort of did say can we keep it between us. "

FINAL VOWS
In scenes that are still to be aired in the UK, viewers will see both Jamie and Dave commit to staying together in the Final Vows part of the show.
However, they reportedly broke up not long after filming wrapped, and are now no longer on speaking terms.
There has also been accusations that Dave has since "ghosted" Jamie, something he strongly denies.
'I definitely didn't ghost Jamie. I think that's an easy thing to say 'oh I just ghosted her,' but that definitely didn't happen," he told The Sun.
'At her final vows she was quite sick and then I got sick, and the communication probably did drop off a little bit.
'And then I ended up helping her move house into her sisters apartment, and then we went out for dinner and had a conversation and said this probably isn't it.
"So there definitely wasn't a ghosting."
MAFS fans in the UK can continue to watch Dave and Jamie's journey on the show over on Channel 4, from Monday-Thursday each week.

Irish rugby's power couples have a ball at Oasis concert

Oasis have brought hundreds of thousands of fans out in force this weekend for their first Irish show in 16 years. Among the waves of people descending onto Croke Park on Saturday night were a few of Ireland's top rugby stars with their other halves. Tickets to see the Gallagher brothers seemed to be like gold dust but it's no real surprise that these lads were quick to get their hands on some. Rob Kearney with his wife Jess Redden at Oasis. Pic: Instagram Brian O'Driscoll and his wife Amy Huberman were out in force as they intended the concert alongside Rob Kearney and his wife Jess Redden. The four were seated beside each other in Croke Park and O'Driscoll made sure to catch Kearney mid-groove as they enjoyed the historic night. He shared a snap of his former teammate on his Instagram story and captioned it: 'Definitely Maybe was still s****ng his pants when this album came out!' O'Driscoll caught Kearney enjoying himself. Pic: Instagram Kearney's wife also shared a couple of photos of the couple at the gig and made sure to let those going on Sunday know that they were in for a treat. She said: 'What a night. If you're going tonight, have the best time – iconic show!' Elsewhere in the packed-out stadium, Johnny Sexton was reuniting with a former rugby rival. Amy Huberman was all set for the gig. Pic: Instagram The ex-Ireland star attended the concert with England international Owen Farrell and each of their wives, Laura Sexton and Georgie Farrell. The four of them posed for a photo which Georgie shared to her Instagram story and Sexton re-shared to his. Sexton and Farrell would have had heated battles on the rugby pitch for many years but their differences were put to the side on Saturday night for the special concert. Sexton and Farrell reunited at the concert. Pic: Instagram Another former Ireland star also managed to make his way into GAA HQ to see Liam and Noel. Cian Healy shared a snap of him and his wife Laura Smith in yet another section of the stadium. The couple posed for a selfie as Oasis lit up Ireland for the first time since 2009. Cian Healy was elsewhere in the crowd. Pic: Instagram It'll be left to wonder however if any of the Ireland stars had any trouble with their tickets, as some fans reported issues on Saturday night, A number of standing section ticketholders have said they were initially let in to Croke Park but weren't given a wristband, which are commonly used by stadiums to identify who is entitled to access into standing areas. They were reportedly then later stopped from entering the standing area because of not having a wristband. This caused delays for fans trying to get onto the pitch and secure a spot to watch the iconic duo. Rob and Jess seemed to have a great night. Pic: Instagram Video footage from the concert shows a large number of fans still streaming onto the pitch after Oasis had already started performing. There were further issues at the other end of the gig on Saturday night, with planned pyrotechnics for the finale not going off 'due to a technical issue'. However, it won't be much of a concern for the tens of thousands of fans descending upon Croke Park for the second sold-out show as fans ultimately reported an unbelievable experience on night one.

Mariah Carey reveals what her kids really think of her music as she finally shares new album details

Mariah is staying tight-lipped about whether a tour is now on the cards KIDS DON'T LISTEN Mariah Carey reveals what her kids really think of her music as she finally shares new album details MARIAH CAREY admitted that twins Moroccan and Monroe won't be rushing to order her 16th album Here For It All. At an intimate event in central London, where Bizarre was the only press invited, Mariah said: 'Sometimes I hold back from playing my songs to my kids as they have their own taste. 2 Mariah Carey with teen twins Moroccan and Monroe Credit: mariahcarey/Instagram 'Roe loves Olivia Rodrigo, and Roc loves Sabrina Carpenter.' But she has given them a preview of the record's title track, adding: 'Here For It All, it really moved me. 'That was one song I actually played for some people. It's one of my favourites.' We were treated to a first play of the track, and can see why Mariah loves it so much — as she sounds better than ever on it. She is trying her best to keep other details about the album under wraps and said with a laugh: 'You can't tickle much out of me. There have been many rumours. 'We might have a duet with Anderson Paak. It's like a Seventies R'n'B vibe. It's funky.' Mariah, who performed at the royal estate Sandringham on Friday, added: 'There will probably be more remixes coming.' The new album is due out on September 28 and comes seven years after the last one, Caution. Mariah didn't hit the studio with the idea of making an album at first, and she revealed: 'I was working on some new songs then I was like, 'OK, I have four songs. That's cool, what are we going to do?'.' She added: 'Finally, when we got to around six songs, I said, 'I think we can make this into an album'.' Mariah Carey, 56, wears FOUR figure-hugging outfits and puts on leggy display as she headlines Brighton Pride Rather than sitting on a pile of tracks like some artists do, Mariah said her songs are few and far between, saying: 'I really don't have thousands. 'Decided to go deeper' 'I have a good amount of songs though. I don't really let anyone listen to them until they are done, that's kind of the way it works for me.' As with previous records, Mariah has acted as producer on the new album. She said: 'I always loved vocals and I didn't realise that production was what I was doing. Even on my first album I was doing that. 'Then, working with different people and friends, I decided to go deeper into it and really start real producing. 'I listen back to my old music too — I think forward and I listen back.' Mariah is staying tight-lipped about whether a tour is now on the cards. 'I dunno,' she said with a shrug. We will have to see about that. It is the 16th record. I am happy about that.' As for her next album, Mariah is already brimming with ideas, adding: 'A deep cut record, that could definitely be a possibility.' We're here for that, Mariah.
