Top comedian and wife sign up for new series of Celebrity Gogglebox
An iconic The Inbetweeners actor and his wife have signed up for the new series of Celebrity Gogglebox, with the duo confirming the exciting news on the programme's official Instagram page. James Buckley and his wife Clair sat on the sofa as they filmed a video for fans as they announced the news.
"Hi guys, how's it going? We are joining the Gogglebox family. We're going to be watching some great TV and some not so great TV. And you'll be able to join us on Friday on Channel 4 at 9pm." The happy couple have been making fans laugh on their podcast, At Home with the Buckleys, so fans were delighted at the news.
"This is great news," one happy user commented while another posted: "Oh wow, look forward to seeing you, after the absence of the vlogs."
"Literally, the best news!" an excited user added while one commented: "Best news I've had today, you will be brilliant." The actor and Clair, who met on X (Twitter), have been married for 13 years and share two children together.
Clair previously opened up about watching The Inbetweeners when she first met James in 2010. "I knew of the show and what it was but I didn't tune in. I didn't watch it, which might have been a good thing,' she said to The Sun at the time.
'I did watch a couple of episodes after we met but to this day I don't think I've seen every single episode. James and Jay are nothing alike thank God.'
Meanwhile, Rylan Clark also confirmed he will be making a return to the series. He will be joined by his mum Linda, with the presenter confirming the news on social media.
"We are back on Gogglebox. Make sure you watch us on Friday, watching TV with you!" he said. Rylan previously admitted he feared saying the wrong thing on camera.
Speaking to the Daily Star, he said: 'My mum forgets the cameras are there. Within five minutes of us starting, she's gone. And that's when I worry.
'She is very much herself. But there's being yourself and then there's taking it so far that you could ruin your son's career!
'I can't repeat the things she says. I'm always like, 'You can't say that, mum'. The s*** she comes out with… if they were aired, I wouldn't have a career. I'm going to have to buy a gag off the internet.'

Bikini-clad Iggy Azalea flaunts her extreme wealth as she emerges for the first time in months after making millions in unusual new career
Iggy Azalea may have retired from the rap game, but she's certainly not retired from the high life. The Australian hip hop star has been on a new career path in recent years, working as a cryptocurrency entrepreneur, and limited her social media use. And it seems the venture is paying well, with Iggy flaunting her luxurious lifestyle on Instagram this week. The 35-year-old gave her fans a glimpse of the massive yacht she is sailing on, sipping cocktails and being tended to by a large staff. In one image, the bikini-clad blonde stretched out on the dock with a drink, while in another, she showed off the boat itself. Iggy also shared a mirror selfie that depicted her clad in multiple designer clothing items. She captioned the series of images with a simple emoji that was poking out its tongue. At one point Azalea was the biggest name in hip-hop... but now, she's on a very different career path. She exploded onto the charts in 2014 with her breakthrough hit Fancy, which held the top spot on the Hot 100 for seven consecutive weeks. Billboard eventually crowned the song - which featured a then little-known Charli XCX - as the biggest hit by a female rapper in music history. Collaborations with Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, and Ariana Grande soon followed, but her success as a pop-rap superstar seemed to fizzle out as quickly as it had started. She joined OnlyFans in 2023, making millions in her first year on the site, and then she officially retired from music for good in 2024. These days, Iggy is making a living as a cryptocurrency entrepreneur. While a lot has been said about her controversial 'memecoin' $Mother, few people outside of the crypto community know that Iggy now runs her own online casino. Titled Motherland, the crypto-powered gambling destination features scantily-clad streamers hosting games like blackjack and poker. Punters can gamble using Iggy's memecoin, and the star herself occasionally hosts streams to drive engagement to the platform. Some streams include strippers twerking, pole dancing, and rubbing cake on each other. Other clips feature women shaking their derrieres in next to nothing in front of green-screened slot machines. Going all-in on cryptocurrency has earned Iggy a new fanbase in the crypto community, but longtime fans of her music have complained about her career change. 'My biggest wish for 2025: Iggy Azalea to go back to her real passion which is music,' one fan wrote on social media recently. 'I really wish some people understood there's more to life than money. She's stuck on Crypto now because her music career ended as a dud,' added another. Outside of the Motherland casino, Iggy has also ventured into telecommunications. While a lot has been said about her controversial 'memecoin' $Mother , few people outside of the crypto community know that Iggy now runs her own online casino She took over Unreal Mobile, relaunching the company and serving as co-founder and chief branding officer, with plans to incorporate her $Mother memecoin into the service. Discussing her leap from music to crypto last year, Iggy told Rapid Response that music and touring had become 'monotonous' for her. 'It was a bit creatively limiting to me,' she explained. 'I had already started angel investing and taking some smaller creative roles in companies and I just felt so much more fulfillment and excitement in that,' she continued. 'I don't have an active record contract, I didn't have an active publishing contract. I had sold all of my masters - I don't even own them.' Iggy finally sold the rights to her music to Domain Capital for an eight-figure sum.
