Kenya Moore's Ex-Husband Marc Daly's NYC Restaurant Shuts Down
Marc quietly shut down the business at the end of 2024, rebranding the restaurant's Instagram profile to a new entity called 'Pulse Media.' Find out the full details on what we know about Marc's next move.
Although Marc confirmed his restaurant's closure last year on Instagram, The Sun just went the extra mile to report on the news by publishing photos of the shuttered restaurant. The former location of the business has bright orange 'For Lease' signs plastered on every single window.
The closure of Soco appears to be related to Marc's dire financial situation. Last year, we learned he was facing eviction from his Brooklyn apartment and owed nearly $10,000 in unpaid rent on various properties. According to his Instagram page, he's now leaving Brooklyn altogether.
Marc wrote, 'Goodbye, Brooklyn. You will always be my hometown!'
'It is with a full heart that I announce the closure of Soco,' he continued. 'After 15 years of serving our wonderful community, it's time for me to explore a new adventure in media, so I move onward and upward.'
In Marc's farewell post to Brooklyn and the restaurant he operated for 15 years, he said he was looking forward to his 'new venture in the South.' In another post, he hinted at an upcoming coffee business he's bringing to Atlanta.
With Marc seemingly in Atlanta, co-parenting with Kenya is about to get a little easier. He has to pay her $2,000 in child support every month, so he might as well be a little closer to her, too.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs new episodes on Bravo every Sunday at 8/7c and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.

Nobody wants to shop anymore — and our classic stores are suffering
Shoppers keep dropping America. Land of the Pilgrims' pride. That was yesterday. Today gone like the covered wagon. Because some designers' bills haven't been paid since January, shops are not receiving new merchandise. Thus, a handful of stores are amalgamating — Saks 5th, Neiman's, Bergdorf all snuggling under the same entity — Saks Global. Major outlets have closed. Saks 5th Palm Beach was captivity's most successful outlet. For ladies of a certain age, it was their pastime. Those limbs could no longer do what they used to do so — got nothing to do? You shop. Took up time. That was then. Now not. Dressing today is just for salads. Already on luxury overload they need nothing. Maybe only an accessory like a handbag. Even collectors stopped collecting. Take photographs. Nobody buying. Pics are like Biden. Not moving. Big-time front-cover fashion shots once grabbed big dollars. Now? It's that craggy thing you snap with your crappy cell. Auction sales of formerly big-time photographers have tanked. Why? Collectors grew old. Not selling like 10 years ago. Scenes, faces, models, places, history, geography, nudity, fashion — now, forget it. Worldwide front-cover fotogs like Irving Penn? It's now 'so what?' Christie's and Phillips auction houses once sold him. Not now. Pros tell me that at a 2013 auction of one Irving Penn photo brought $459,000. Now his masterpieces — down to $80,000 — huge drop — remain unsold. Grandkids aren't into black and white. They want showy. Shiny. Glittery. They don't care about the old masters. Owners now sit on their collections. Not even trying to sell. Huge drop. Auction houses were off 40% this season. Famous photo titled 'Woman in Moroccan Palace' sold for $459,000 in 2013. Lately it came back up for $80,000. Didn't sell. Also not moving — clothing. Its buyers only look to wear it once. Disposable goods. Not investment clothing. They'll post themselves on Instagram or TikTok wearing the new cheapo tee then — shove it. Off with it. The designer market has gone the way of zoot suits. They say low-fruit spenders will shop — but not in volume or to show quality. Just 'something to do.' A way to save the day. Not an activity. Not to flash your semi-covered behind at a tennis match. Just something to do before going home to argue with him. Brands are suffering — consumers are stiffing Chanel, Gucci, Prada, Dior, Valentino. Unless designers possess their own personal special place, it's sayonara. No room at the inn. Shops aren't paying or ordering. Forget lunch — stylists now hunt for friends to take them to dinner. And nobody's breaking out of the mold. Two nights ago, five people were at the next restaurant table — husband, wife, two children and grandma. All 10 feet were in sneakers. Once big buyers came from overseas, including the Chinese. Now no one. South Americans have their own problems. Europeans? Busy killing each other off. Nobody wants Russians. And if you're US stock and come from places like, maybe, Minnesota — nobody wants you any place. And never — never — forget the immortal words of Irving Hauser who said: 'A penny saved is a point on your credit card.' And he said it: Only in New York, kids, only in New York.

Jennifer Tilly, 66, Poses for Nude 'Thirst Trap' Photo in Her Swimming Pool
The 'RHOBH' star posed for the revealing snap wearing nothing but red lipstick, sunglasses and a flower in her hair NEED TO KNOW Jennifer Tilly stripped down to nothing but red lipstick, sunglasses and a flower in her hair for an Instagram post on Monday, Aug. 18 "Thirst trap," she simply captioned the photo Tilly joined season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills as a friend of the show last year Jennifer Tilly is baring all! The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 66, stripped down to nothing but sunglasses and a flower in her hair for an Instagram post shared Monday, Aug. 18. Leaving little to the imagination, Tilly stood completely nude in a pool as she folded her arms and stared into the camera, completing her look with red lipstick. She received lots of love in the comments section from fellow Bravolebrities and fans. LaLa Kent applauded Tilly's post with a "👏" Emoji while Lisa Rinna wrote, "🔥🔥🔥." Actress Donna D'Errico commented, "On fire! 🔥," while another fan added, "Consider me trapped." The Chucky actress joined season 14 of RHOBH as a friend of the show last year. She revealed what it was really like to film for the series, confessing it wasn't as glamorous as she thought it would be. 'I remember I was like, 'I live in Beverly Hills, and it'd be kind of fun to see Beverly Hills through the lens of really rich people,' ' she told Vulture in an interview published in August 2024. 'I thought that I was going to see a lot of people shopping on Rodeo Drive, but a lot of the filming that they do is in the Valley, in places where it's easier to get permits. So it's not like you're at the fanciest places in Beverly Hills, arguing.' Still, she later added that there was no shortage of drama. 'You come in without a script. It's just sort of like they just wade in there, and they go at it,' the Academy Award winner continued. 'In real life, if you're at a restaurant and people at the table are screaming at each other, you're mortified like, 'Oh my God. I can't believe I'm with these uncouth people.' But when I am sitting at a table with Housewives, I feel like I have a front-row seat at the Super Bowl.' Tilly also noted that she has no regrets about her new gig. 'I appreciate what they do,' she said of Housewives. 'I'm just going to say it's really challenging. It's the craziest thing I've ever done, but I'm really happy I'm doing it, and I think it's such an interesting kind of sharp left turn for my career.' "I'm not a Housewife. I'm a Friend, though, which is a lot easier," she continued in part. "You just dip in and out. You try to avoid, like, flying shrapnel. And you know, if drinks are thrown, I have good reflexes." The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills can be streamed on Peacock. Read the original article on People
