Centre releases e-book on Modi Government's achievements over 11 years

The Union Government has released an e-book, 'Viksit Bharat ka Amrit Kaal: Seva, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan ke 11 Saal', on its achievements across all the sectors over the past 11 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
'These 11 years have been dedicated to bringing about development which is inclusive, progressive, and sustainable. The government under Prime Minister Modi has been steadfast in its commitment to creating equity and opportunity for all citizens. Mr. Modi has brought the politics of development — Vikasvaad — into the mainstream, making it the focal point around which political discourse and policy action now revolves,' said its introduction.

Divided into 14 chapters, the book covers issues ranging from schemes for the poor and marginalised, farmer welfare, economy, healthcare, women/youth empowerment, infrastructure development, tech revolution, ease-of-living for middle class, the progress made in north-eastern States, national security and foreign policy, environment and sustainability initiatives, and preservation/propagation of India's rich culture and heritage.
'Since assuming office in 2014, Mr. Modi has remained firm in his resolve of keeping 'India First' in every policy formulation and action. This resolve is evident in government's handling of both external and internal security, economic management, empowerment schemes for marginalised groups, efforts at cultural conservation etc,' it said.
Tackling COVID-19
The book said the outcomes could be seen across sectors whether it was in vaccinating the entire eligible population in record time against COVID-19, recording the nation's highest ever exports in history, in the digital revolution, in achieving monumental targets for rural electrification, in building world-class infrastructure or in providing drinking water facilities across households, etc.
'The inclusive and holistic approach of development and welfare schemes has ensured irreversible empowerment for various marginalised groups, helping them become aspirational and self-reliant,' it said. The chapters provide detailed information on the measures taken by the government and the impact they have made.
'India's assertion on the global stage has also undergone a remarkable evolution. The success of Operation Sindoor demonstrated a new India — resolute, swift, and sovereign in action...,' said the book.
'Operation Sindoor, launched on May 7, 2025, was a tri-services, measured, focused and non-escalatory precision military response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Coordinated through India's Integrated Command and Control Strategy, it neutralised nine terror camps across the border. The operation highlighted India's joint force capability, strategic foresight, and resolve against cross-border terrorism,' it added.
