ITV Quiz appeared on screens today to replace ITVBe

Monday marks the launch of ITV Quiz, the UK broadcaster's new destination for all its much-loved game shows.
The channel appeared on screens this morning, starting with an episode of word game Lingo.
Other favourites including Wheel of Fortune, Tipping Point, Tenable, Deal or No Deal and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? are set to be shown on the channel too.
However, fans of The Chase will be disappointed to see that it's not on the schedule at all during launch week.

Fortunately, the programme has its own dedicated channel with back-to-back episodes on ITVX instead.
ITV Quiz has come about due to massive changes at the broadcaster as it looks to save money.
This means, ITVBe is no more after over ten years on air.
Huge reality series like The Only Way is Essex and The Real Housewives of Cheshire will live on over at ITV2 - which was TOWIE's original home until ITVBe launched in October 2014.

ITV Quiz will take the same slot on TV guides as ITVBe.
That's 131 on Sky satellite, 125 on Sky Glass / Stream, 119 on Virgin Media and 28 on Freeview.
MORE SKY CHANGES
There are more changes on Sky today - though these will only affect Sky Cinema subscribers.
As part of regular refreshes, Sky Blockbusters, Sky Pitch Perfect and Sky Family are all disappearing.
In their place will be Sky Hits, Sky Comedy and Sky Fantasy respectively.

Other big changes across the company mean more than 220 jobs are set to be axed across ITV's daytime shows.
This will affect Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, Loose Women and This Morning.

Next year, production teams working behind the scenes will be merged for the latter three shows to save money, as well as moving to a new studio.

Loose Women and Lorraine will only air 30 weeks of the year instead of all 52 weeks.
Reports suggest Loose Women may lose its studio audience too.
Lorraine Kelly's morning show will also be cut from an hour long to just 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, Good Morning Britain will be produced by ITV News at ITN from 2026 moving to its studios in central London.

More than 220 jobs will be lost as part of the shake-up — meaning almost half of the 450 employed on the four flagship shows will be let go. Cuts will be made to staff working on the likes of GMB, Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women. And now the channel has stopped sending Andi Peters and Jeff Brazier to tropical destinations for the competition segments of Daytime shows. According to MailOnline, ITV feel it is "bad taste" to keep sending Andi, 54, and Jeff, 46, to lavish locations after the announcement of the company's cuts. Already in 2025, Andi has been flown to Australia, Cape Town, the Maldives and Florida to host competition segments. Meanwhile, Jeff has been seen plugging competitions from Sri Lanka, Malta and Thailand. According to the outlet, a source has said: "TV have scaled back on sending top talent overseas to present their competition segments." The source added: "The competitions themselves, which give viewers the chance to win six figure sums and idyllic holidays, bring in a great deal of revenue. "But constantly flying the likes of Andi and Jeff to the Maldives and South Africa was starting to frustrate staff and viewers alike. The 1% Club knocks out a whopping 16 celebs with easy anagram question "It was decided that they would dial down for a few weeks after the budget cuts were announced and no one has flown overseas to present the competitions since." They added how as well as viewers being "disgruntled" about, "it was felt continuing to send talent abroad to luxurious holiday destinations as others are losing their jobs would be in bad taste". The Sun reached out to ITV but they declined to comment. This comes amid ITV's shocking shakeup that will see hundreds of people lose their jobs at the channel. Good Morning Britain will be extended by 30 minutes to run from 6am to 9.30am daily. Lorraine will run from 9.30am-10am, on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year. During the weeks Lorraine is not on air, Good Morning Britain will run from 6am to 10am. This Morning will remain in its 10am-12.30pm slot on weekdays throughout the year. Loose Women will be in the 12.30-1.30pm slot, again on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year. The days of seeing ITV stars Andi Peters and Jeff Brazier flown off to exotic locations to promote competitions for the broadcaster are over - according to reports. Both Andi, 54, and Jeff, 46, would often pop up in some far flung location, encouraging viewers to try their luck and be in with a chance of winning thousands of pounds on shows, including Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women. However, money is now a sticky subject at ITV after it announced a string of cuts to its Daytime offerings before staff at the broadcaster were hit with news that there would be redundancies ahead. As a result, ITV will, reportedly, no longer be shelling out for presenters such as Andi and Jeff to sun themselves on sun-kissed beaches while working for the broadcaster in its latest cost-cutting exercise. ITV launches brand new channel amid daytime cuts and redundancies This year alone, Andi has broadcast from the Maldives, Australia, Cape Town, and Florida while Jeff has jetted off to Thailand, Sri Lanka and Malta, which according to insiders, has 'irritated' production staff who have since been told their roles are at risk. Speaking to the Mail, a source said: "ITV has scaled back on sending top talent overseas to present their competition segments. The competitions themselves, which give viewers the chance to win six figure sums and idyllic holidays, bring in a great deal of revenue, but constantly flying the likes of Andi and Jeff to the Maldives and South Africa was starting to frustrate staff and viewers alike. "It was decided that they would dial down for a few weeks after the budget cuts were announced and no one has flown overseas to present the competitions since. "As well as there being a backlash online from disgruntled viewers, it was felt continuing to send talent abroad to luxurious holiday destinations as others are losing their jobs would be in bad taste." Indeed, some viewers did take to social media after it was announced that Lorraine Kelly's self-titled programme will be cut in half next year, to just half an hour a day and will only air 30 weeks of the year. Meanwhile, Loose Women will keep its hour show - but again, it will be cut to just 30 out of 52 weeks a year. Claiming the channel would save money if it didn't keep paying for Andi to be shipped off to yet another picture-postcard location, one fan posted: "If ITV really wanted to save money they would stop sending Andi Peters to Mauritius or the rings of Saturn every time they have a competition." ITV hasn't featured an exotic location for one of its competitions since May 19 when Lisa Snowdon hosted a segment from Cyprus for This Morning, which coincided with their official announcement of budget cuts and job losses. Kevin Lygo, Managing Director of ITV's Media and Entertainment Division, announced the changes last month, where he had said the changes were necessary to "generate savings". However, sources have told The Mirror some shows face a 'death spiral' saying:"It's not a case of viewers seeing less of their shows… it's impossible to see how the high standards will remain the same. Some staff believe Loose Women and Lorraine in particular will enter a death spiral… it's just so sad. Just a handful of people will be working on each of those two programmes which has huge ramifications for how they are going forward." When contacted by the Mirror, ITV declined to comment.
