Country singer Morgan Wallen ditches ACM Awards seemingly to hangout with Tom Brady
Are you thinkin' 'bout me?
Country superstar Morgan Wallen seemingly skipped the 60th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on Thursday night to hang out with former NFL quarterback Tom Brady.
The 'Last Night' singer appeared to ditch the star-studded event in Frisco, Texas — just north of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area — to toss a football around with the seven-time Super Bowl champion on a vibrant green golf course, according to his Instagram stories.

'Had a little mustard on it @tombrady,' Wallen captioned alongside a photo of him and Brady playing catch.
The image was posted to social media around when the ACM Awards were supposed to start at Ford Center.
The Post contacted Morgan Wallen's team for comment.
The 31-year-old was among the most-nominated artists on Thursday night alongside Ella Langley, Cody Johnson and Lainey Wilson.
The 'You Proof' performer was nominated for Entertainer of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Song of the Year, Music Event of the Year and 'Artist-Songwriter of the Year.
Wallen wound up losing in every category.

Instead, country music newcomer Langley and 'Yellowstone's' Wilson won the most awards.
This isn't the first time the 'Cowgirls' star avoided a glamorous award show.
The Tennessee native did not attend the 2025 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 2, even though he was a first-time nominee with the song 'I Had Some Help,' which was up for Best Country Song and Best Country Duo/Group.
Just like the ACMs, Wallen was denied a Grammy that night.

The singer also skipped the 2024 CMA Awards, but won Entertainer of the Year.
Actor Jeff Bridges accepted the award on Wallen's behalf at the 2024 CMA Awards, even though he mispronounced his name when he revealed that Wallen had won.
The win came years after the CMAs banned the artist from attending their ceremony following a racial slur scandal.

Much like the awards show circuit, the musician found himself embroiled in controversy in front of a national live audience in late March when he walked off the 'Saturday Night Live' set on as cameras were still rolling.
The late-night sketch show usually has cast members, hosts, and musical guests stay on stage to chat as the credits roll, but right after host and Oscar-winning actress Mikey Madison closed the show, he gave her a hug and took off.
The country music performer seemingly didn't even go to the after-party and posted a photo of his private jet soon after his headline-making exit.
'Get me to God's country,' Wallen captioned on the story.
'SNL' recalled the unusual moment the following week and roasted Wallen twice.

The 'Truth Hurts' singer, 37, shared a video on Instagram of herself dancing in a pink and gray string bikini in front of a backyard pool on Saturday, June 7. She also wore a black face covering as she swayed and moved to a track of herself rapping. 'BLACK TRUCK A-- POKING OUT THA WINDOW,' she captioned the post — which is also one of the lyrics to the song that played in the background. Lizzo is no stranger to a fun summer photo shoot. She shared a video of herself dancing and lip-syncing in a yellow and blue bikini and high heels on May 24 to celebrate Memorial Day. The musician has been vocal on social media and in interviews about her weight loss journey since 2023. She also has reminded her followers that the ultimate goal of her weight loss was to improve her mental health. 'Exercise has helped me shift my mind, not my body," she said in a May 2023 TikTok video. Later, in a March 2024 interview with The New York Times, Lizzo revealed that she had been 'methodical' with her health plan and was 'losing weight very slowly.' She also told the outlet that her idea of body positivity had 'evolved into body neutrality.' 'I'm not going to lie and say I love my body every day,' she explained. 'The bottom line is, the way you feel about your body changes every single day. There are some days I adore my body, and others when I don't feel completely positive.' In January 2025, the 'About Damn Time' singer shared two mirror selfies on Instagram overlaid with screenshots from an app that showed her weight goal had been achieved. 'I did it,' she captioned the post. 'Today when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal. I haven't seen this number since 2014! During an April 7 interview on the On Purpose with Jay Shetty podcast, the singer said that she prefers the term 'weight release' to 'weight loss.' "My man, he's so funny,' she said, referring to her boyfriend, Myke Wright. 'He was the one that brought it to my attention at first. Because at first I was like, 'Oh my gosh, I lost five pounds,' and he was like, 'Where did it go?' " 'It's like, I don't think I want to lose anything. I think I want to win. I think I want to gain,' she added. Read the original article on People

Baltimore Ravens' Derrick Henry can parlay a 2,000-yard season into a movie cameo with Adam Sandler
"King Henry" finally has the attention of "The Waterboy." Baltimore Ravens star running back Derrick Henry has an offer from Adam Sandler, his favorite actor, to be cast in a movie if the five-time Pro Bowl selection rushes for 2,000 yards this season. The offer grew out of Henry's appearance on radio personality Dan Patrick's show this week to discuss his $30 million, two-year contract extension. Patrick told Henry he would get him in a Sandler movie if he made NFL history with a second 2,000-yard season. Two days later, Sandler made the offer himself in a video shown to Henry on the practice field. "That's my dawg," a wide-smiling Henry said while watching the video. Adam Sandler responds Sandler, star of "Happy Gilmore" and the remake of "The Longest Yard," along with "The Waterboy," said he was in a hotel room while filming his greeting for Henry. At one point, Sandler turned the camera to show his bulldog. "Two thousand yards-plus this year not only gets you in a movie, but we'll have a nice dinner together and talk about Dan Patrick's facial hair and how hard it is for him to grow it," Sandler joked in a video posted Friday. "I love ya and keep it up." Sandler came up during Patrick's interview with Henry because Patrick was wearing a hoodie for the soon-to-be-released "Happy Gilmore 2." Sandler had given Patrick the hoodie. "Can you do me a favor?" Henry asked Patrick. "If you ever see him again, tell him I'm a really big fan and would really love to meet him one day." Patrick left Sandler a voice message, and Sandler responded. "Dan, you're a real one!" Henry later wrote on social media. 2,000-yard motivation Henry rushed for 2,027 yards with Tennessee in 2020, when he was an All-Pro and the AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year in the fifth of his eight seasons with the Titans. Henry nearly did it again as a 30-year-old in a resurgence with the Ravens last season, when he ran for 1,921 yards. Saquon Barkley of the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles led the NFL with 2,005 yards.
