BBC The Traitors releases brand new season and you can watch all 12 episodes now

Daily Record17-06-2025
A brand new series of The Traitors has just dropped on BBC iPlayer.
The Traitors fans who are struggling to pass the time between the latest season of the show and the highly anticipated Celebrity version later this year will be delighted to know the BBC has just dropped a new season of the programme to make the wait more bearable. The latest season saw Leanne Quigley and Jake Brown take home the grand crash prize after a nail-biting finale was filled with brutal banishments.
Since then, the BBC has confirmed the star-studded cast list for the upcoming Celebrity Traitors, which includes Charlotte Church, Alan Carr, and Jonathan Ross among the contestants. The show will air on screens this autumn but if that feels too far away then the spin-off series The Traitors NZ has just dropped on iPlayer.

All 12 episodes are now available to stream while the programme airs on BBC Three. The second season of the New Zealand edition of the show sees 22 contestants descend on Claremont Manor, which sits at the foot of Mount Horrible in Timaru.

The group of Kiwis compete around the roundtable in the hopes of winning up to $100k, which equates to over £44k, the Metro reports.
The spin off sees UK host Claudia Winkleman's role being filled by New Zealand TV presenter Paul Henry, who also hosts the New Zealand version of The Chase, making him the local equivalent of Bradley Walsh.
The new season of the psychological game show is filled with classic mind games, kicking off with a bizarre task that asks the contestants to search the ground for body parts of a doll.
The inaugural season of The Traitors NZ relied on offbeat casting choices, with many contestants knowing one another before entering the Manor, to make the show stand out from its British, American and Australian editions.
Anyone unsure about whether or not its their cup of tea, its difficult to make a dismal season of The Traitors when the format is fairly bulletproof.

After the group of Traitors are selected by Henry in the first episode, the new season quickly moves on to the murdering and manipulation.
Commenting underneath an X post announcing the new season of The Traitors NZ, fans rushed to have their say on the show.

One particularly enthusiastic viewer even went as far as to brand it as the 'by far the best English speaking series of The Traitors.'
Another impressed viewer echoed: "I enjoyed this season some good players and deceiving."

A third penned: "This is so good!! I'm obsessed." A fourth simply stated: "Can't stop watching this!"
Elsewhere in The Traitors universe, the US spin-off is set to return soon with a new cast of celebs waiting to enter the Scottish castle.
Hosted by the iconic Scots presenter Alan Cumming, the season four cast has been confirmed.
It includes big names like Love Island star Maura Higgins and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna.
The Traitors NZ is available to stream on BBC iPlayer, with episodes airing on BBC Three from 8pm on July 16.

Antiques Roadshow guest bites lip at impressive value for 'one-off' signed Vinnie Jones photo

An Antiques Roadshow guest shared a 'one-off' photograph of footballer Vinnie Jones and Newcastle United star Paul Gascoigne. WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Antiques Roadshow. ‌ An Antiques Roadshow guest and former referee quipped he would have booked Vinnie Jones for "ungentlemanly conduct" after revealing a "one-off" football photograph. ‌ The BBC daytime programme visited Wollaton Hall where expert Raj Bisram encountered a guest eager to display a memorable image from the football world. ‌ The autographed black and white snap featured Wimbledon player Vinnie Jones grasping Newcastle United legend Paul Gascoigne's testicles during a 1988 fixture. "What an iconic photograph you've brought in," the Roadshow expert declared. The guest revealed: "I was the referee at that match. It was on my birthday, funnily enough. "And it was a first division match between Wimble don and Newcastle United." ‌ The guest then admitted: "I have to admit, I did not see that incident." Bisram observed: "I mean, if you had seen that incident, obviously, you would have booked Vinnie Jones? For what?". The visitor chuckled in reply: "Well I suppose it would be for ungentlemanly conduct." ‌ He added: "Monty Fresco of the Daily Mirror took that fantastic photograph. "When I retired from work, my colleagues, unbeknown to me, got Jones and Gascoigne to sign it for me." ‌ In the left-hand corner, Jones simply wrote to the guest "Be good", while Gascoigne jokingly penned: "Thanks to you, I have lost my family allowance." Wrapping up the appraisal, Bisram revealed: "I guess if you was to put this on the market today, I would be estimating it would be for between £1,000 and £3,000." The guest was left speechless, his jaw dropping at the staggering figures as he bit his lip in anticipation. Bisram added: "I mean, it could go anywhere because it's a one-off. This is one of the most famous photographs of football in history. Thanks for bringing it in."

Tommy Fury says his relationship with Molly-Mae Hague is in ‘best place ever'

Fury, 26, met the influencer and businesswoman on the ITV reality dating show Love Island in 2019 and the couple have a daughter, Bambi. They reportedly split up in August 2024, just over a year after their engagement. Fury claims the split was caused by his heavy drinking which started after he injured his hand. Speaking at the Manchester premiere for the BBC Three docuseries Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury, the boxer told the PA news agency: 'At the end of the day, we're keeping everything between me and Molly private. 'Now we're in the best place that we've ever been, and that's just down to you know, just down to me and sorting me head out to be honest and becoming the partner that I always knew I could be and the partner she deserves. 'We've gone from kids to adults in the public eye. We changed our life in the public eye. So we're very used to it. But I think now it's just about keeping a little bit of something private for us, having something special for us.' In the documentary, Fury discusses his excessive drinking and admitted to downing '20 shots a night' before the couple split up. Speaking about the choice to open up to the cameras, Fury added: 'There's no good bottling things up. And I thought, if I'm going to do a documentary I want it to be real. I want to do a real documentary. 'And that's why I said, open the cameras up. Let people see, see me at my lowest. See me at my highest. See me winning. See the losses. 'I don't want to shy away from that. Life's not all glitz and glamour and great all the time, there's ups and there's downs. And I want people to see that, and if they can take something away from it, amazing. 'It was tough for me to open up and do that at the start, but I just thought by me doing this, being a young lad in a limelight, all this sort of stuff, I might be able to help somebody. So it's not all bad. 'It's tough to do at the start, but then once you get used to it, once you have said things openly, it gets a lot easier.' Part one of Tommy: The Good. The Bad. The Fury is available on BBC iPlayer and BBC Three, with part two scheduled for later in the year.
