BTS's TinyTAN Toys Coming To McDonald's Happy Meals This September

Forbes7 hours ago
Ever since the global superstar group BTS collaborated with McDonald's in 2021, BTS fans – known as ARMY – have been requesting BTS-themed Happy Meal toys.
There were numerous options that fans suggested, including BTS' mini-figures called TinyTAN, or their LINE FRIENDS characters, BT21. McDonald's had already created Happy Meal toys featuring BT21 in 2023, but they were only available in select Asian countries.
Now, McDonald's has listened to all of ARMY's suggestions and is teaming up with BTS' character line, TinyTAN, to create lovable characters based on the seven members for their Happy Meal to be distributed GLOBALLY, starting on September 3, for a limited time only.
For the first time, there will be two different sets of toys for the TinyTAN Happy Meal: The 'Throwback Edition' featuring each character rocking the 2021 BTS Meal promo outfits and the 'Encore Edition' featuring each character sporting outfits that nod to the second legendary collab with McDonald's, available Sept. 23. Even the boxes are different!
Once you receive your Happy Meal, visit HappyMeal.com and scan the code on the Happy Meal box to play the TinyTAN Power Up game, which features the TinyTAN characters cheering you on while you sing your heart out to your favorite BTS tunes.
The fun doesn't stop there! For those in the Los Angeles area, McDonald's is hosting a 'Magic Meetup' where fans can step into the rhythm of TinyTAN with an immersive, multisensory experience, filled with music and 'Happy Meal magic' on September 27-28 at nya West. Details of the event will be shared at a later date.
With the release of a new Encore Edition, we can expect new commercials and promotional photos, as the group reunited in June of this year after completing their military service. Since then, BTS has announced their plans for new music and a World Tour in 2026, so fans have a lot more to look forward to. Who will they collaborate with next?
Of course, everything is while supplies last. You can bet these will sell out quickly.
For more information, check out McDonald's New Menu Spotter and their social media pages for upcoming BTS announcements.

These are the Most Anticipated Video Game Releases for the Second Half of the Year

Video games! What would we do without them? Ever since the first video games entered popular culture over fifty years ago, they've become an integral part of entertainment, connecting millions of people worldwide through immersive stories and some groundbreaking technology. And that fascination isn't going anywhere any time soon. In 2025 so far, we've had some incredible releases that have captured the imaginations of gamers everywhere, from sprawling RPGs to fast-paced shooters. A few spring to mind: Blue Prince , Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 , Kingdom Come: Deliverance II . But we gamers are never fully satisfied. We're always left wanting a little bit more, so what are the video games still to come that might scratch that itch and keep us engaged in the months ahead? Below are the top 10 most anticipated video game releases for the second half of the year, as well as a few words on what makes them so compelling. Mafia: The Old Country The first game we want to cover is Mafia: The Old Country , which is set to be released on August 8th. For those unaware, Mafia is a gritty mob story set in the underworld of 1900s Sicily, and if that sounds familiar, that's because it is! The game serves as a prequel to the original Mafia trilogy , which had its last installment released way back in 2016. Lost Soul Aside Lost Soul Aside is another action role-playing game that looks set to be an epic. As a player, you'll be embarking on an epic odyssey to save your sister – and the whole of humankind, for that matter – from dimensional invaders. It's a single-player game with a release date of August 29th. Hell Is Us It's interesting how anticipated this particular video game is. Developed by Rogue Factor, which is a Montreal-based company, it demonstrates how far Canada as a whole has come in the gaming industry. Perhaps this is due to the iGaming scene, which saw a massive boost upon regulation in Ontario three years ago. Since then, there's been a rise of instant payout casinos in the country , which has led to increased investment and innovation within Canadian gaming companies and the industry as a whole (developers, song and music composers etc). These are the factors that help fuel talent and creativity, and now, here we are, with Hell Is Us making huge waves across the world. Being a third-person action-adventure game, it promises to combine melee combat with the exploration of a sci-fi world. Think of a unique blend of Death Stranding and Dark Souls , and you'll be there! Borderlands 4 Ever since the first Borderlands game was released in 2009, this series has become a beloved staple in the looter-shooter genre. It's known for its blend of fast-paced action, humour, and vibrant art style, and Borderlands 4 doesn't appear to be straying away from that. This is a highly anticipated game that promises to build on the franchise's signature formula with new characters, expanded worlds, and even more chaotic multiplayer mayhem! Ghost of Yotei Here we go, perhaps the most emancipated game this year is Ghost of Yotei , which follows the success of Ghost of Tsushima – released back in 2020. As a player, you'll be following the journey of Atsu as she traverses the lands surrounding Mount Yotei – an area filled with sprawling grasslands, snowy mountains, and unexpected dangers. Developed by Sucker Punch Productions, this is expected to be another smash hit that might even outdo the impressive $780 million revenue of the first outing. The Wolf Among Us 2 There's no doubt that games published by Telltale Games can be hit or miss, but one of their features that was definitely a hit was The Wolf Among Us , which came out back in 2013. Based in the gritty, noir-inspired world of the Fables comic book series, this game stood out for its mature storytelling, amazing visuals, and tough moral choices – making it a game that is still talked about even twelve years later. Pretty soon, though, players won't have to talk about it, because there's another installment coming to the table. The Wolf Among Us 2 is going to be a prequel to the original game, taking place 20 years before the incidents of the book. Not much is known about what's going to happen, or how much it will stray away from the source material, but fans are hoping it captures the same narrative weight and character depth that made the first game such a cult favourite. Dragon Quest I & II: Remake We thought we'd finish on a remake, because these can be just as interesting as original games if they're done well! We know already, of course, that Dragon Quest I & II are legendary titles in the world of JRPGs – originally released in the 1980s and widely credited with laying the foundation for the genre as we know it. This new remake is especially exciting, however, because it's being rebuilt from the ground up using the HD-2D style popularised by Octopath Traveller and Live A Live . It might not be new, sure. But that doesn't make this any less anticipated for the fans who know what to expect! Bonggun Kim and Kansei Yasuda on Touring Together for TWO ASIANS ONE CUP

Kim Kardashian Goes Makeup-Free in Behind-the-Scenes Photos of Her Cosmetic Trip to Korea

She shared a glimpse of the cutting-edge face treatments she got. The Gist Kim Kardashian gave fans a rare glimpse of the cosmetic face treatments she got done in South Korean in a photo dump shared on Tuesday, August 19. The reality star went makeup-free while showing her getting several procedures. Kardashian's new candidness mirrors sister Kylie Jenner and mom Kris Jenner, who recently name-dropped their plastic surgeons. Kim Kardashian is following in her sister Kylie Jenner and mom Kris Jenner's footsteps by getting candid about her latest cosmetic treatments. Just days after sharing photos from her NSFW private jet ride to South Korea—complete with a Skims face wrap and ultra-sheer YSL tights that freed the nipple—Kim stripped off her signature glam for several makeup-free photos that showed her getting several skin procedures done. Posing with her sister Khloé Kardashian as well as friends La La Anthony, Stephanie Suganami, and Vanessa Lee, who's the owner of cosmetic treatments and injectables company The Things We Do, Kim showed off her natural beauty during her beauty getaway. The makeup-free Skims founder could be seen with a white substance on her face, tape over her eyebrows (potentially for a laser treatment), and seemingly getting blood taken out of her arm (potentially for her "vampire facial" treatment). While Kardashian didn't share which cosmetic treatments she got, Lee—who previously did a collagen baby threads procedure on Khloé's neck and chin—spoke to Entertainment Tonight about what skin care procedures the women were hoping to try in Korea. 'Korea is known for their innovation in cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures and prioritizes efficiency and quality,' Lee shared. Revealing that she likes to 'go straight to the source of where professionals are mastering their techniques,' Lee added, 'I had the opportunity to guide the girls with my expertise … This trip was about getting a little more invasive for me.' She continued, 'Korea's hyperpigmentation technologies, body tightening devices, and biostimulator skin boosters have been on my to-do list.' While Kim has yet to respond to the fans clamouring in her comments for what Korean skin care procedures she decided to try, her half-sister Kylie recently revealed the exact thing she asked for for her breast implants on TikTok. Kardashian Momager Kris also shared the name-dropped the surgeon who did her recent face lift. Read the original article on InStyle Solve the daily Crossword
