The Dyson Airwrap I.D is literally my prized possession and it's been slashed by £80 for Prime Day

The Sun09-07-2025
AMAZON has been dropping some incredible deals for its Prime Day sale, and I've spotted a huge discount one of the beauty world's best-loved products.
The Dyson Airwrap I.D has been slashed by an impressive £80 for the shopping event, taking it down from £479.99 to £399.99.
Dyson Airwrap i.d. Multi-Styler and Dryer, £399.99 (was £479.99)
The air styler is the most sought-after beauty tech tool, so it's rare to see it be slashed so significantly.
I got my Dyson Airwrap I.D earlier this year and I can honestly say that it's transformed my haircare routine.
After years of trying and failing to master the art of a bouncy blow-out, the Airwrap's user-friendly design has been a game-changer for me.
The I.D is an upgraded version of the original model, which can be controlled through your smartphone.
Using the Dyson app, beauty fans are able to create a personalised styling routine, which makes the Airwrap switch between the settings automatically.
It comes with a storage case and six attachments, including two of the iconic auto-wrap barrels.

There are two versions designed for either straight/ wavy hair or curly/ coil hair, with different attachments to suit each hair type.
Both versions have been slashed to £399.99 in the Amazon Prime sale, but it's unclear how long the deal will be running.
For more information on the viral buy, you can ready my full review of the Dyson Airwrap I.D.
The hair drying nozzle and the 40mm curling barrel are my go-to attachments for creating bouncy curls, and I've found the key to ensuring the style stays in place all day is to use a mousse while the hair is still wet.
My favourite is the Color Wow Xtra Large Bombshell Volumiser, which is also on sale for Amazon Prime Day.
It's reduced by an impressive 43% right now, so shoppers can pick it up for £13.68 instead of £24.
You can follow The Sun's live blog for all the top Amazon Prime Day deals as they come in.
Amazon's shopping extravaganza is live from 8-11 July, but deals are constantly changing.
There are plenty of incredible beauty deals currently in the Amazon sale, including Color Wow's viral Dream Coat Spray that's been slashed by 41%.
The multifunctional spray works to fight frizz and give a glossy finish to the hair once it's been activated by heat.
Fake tan fanatics have also been rushing to pick up the cult St. Tropez One Hour Express Tan, and it's at its lowest price of £12.25 for a 200ml bottle that usually costs £33.

Rolls-Royce raises profit and cash flow outlook after strong H1

LONDON, July 31 (Reuters) - British aero-engineer Rolls-Royce (RR.L), opens new tab raised its full-year outlook for both operating profit and free cash flow on Thursday after it navigated supply chain challenges and tariffs to deliver a strong first half. The company, whose engines power Airbus's widebody planes and some Boeing 787s, increased the top end of its operating profit guidance by 300 million pounds ($400 million) to 3.2 billion pounds and its free cash flow by 200 million pounds to 3.1 billion pounds. Chief Executive Tufan Erginbilgic, who has turned around Rolls-Royce since joining at the start of 2023, said his multi-year transformation was continuing to deliver. "Our actions led to strong first half year results, despite the challenges of the supply chain and tariffs," he said. He said Rolls had improved the time its engines were on wing - a key demand from its airline customers - and had improved the profitability of its maintenance services. Its power systems business had also grown by winning business from data centre and government customers, he said. ($1 = 0.7484 pounds)

How Queen Camilla is continuing Queen Elizabeth's style legacy with latest royal warrant

Launer London, the iconic British heritage leather goods house, has been granted a Royal Warrant by appointment to Queen Camilla for handbags and leather goods - a continuation of the brand's longstanding royal legacy. Established in 1941, Launer is synonymous with timeless elegance, expert craftmanship and British tradition. Every piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Walsall, West Midlands, a region known for its leather-working heritage. Launer's reputation has been built on its signature top-handle bags, refined silhouettes, and enduring appeal. The brand achieved global recognition thanks in large part to Queen Elizabeth II, who famously carried Launer handbags for decades. Her Late Majesty awarded the company a Royal Warrant in 1968, which remained in place until her death in 2022, making Queen Camilla's recent honour all the more poignant. In a touching tribute, Camilla carried Launer's Tosca clutch at Elizabeth II's funeral. She has since continued to carry the same clutch at a number of high-profile events, including the Princess of Wales' Christmas carol concert and King Charles III's first state visit. What many may not know is that Camilla has been a quiet patron of Launer for more than two decades. She even carried one of the brand's bags for her wedding to Charles in 2005. In 2020, she visited Launer's factory in Walsall, where she was welcomed by CEO Gerald Bodmer. There, she was shown the traditional handcrafting processes behind each piece and met the artisans responsible for creating the bags. During her visit, Camilla was presented with a black leather Judi bag from the Legacy Collection, a curated line featuring seven of the brand's bestselling styles - all originally designed over 30 years ago and still loved today. Elizabeth's own connection to Launer ran even deeper. She carried one of their classic styles at nearly every public engagement during her 70-year reign. In fact, she is seen holding a Launer handbag in the very last photograph taken of her at Balmoral, just two days before her death at age 96. Elizabeth's handbags were not just fashion statements - they were part of her persona. According to royal biographers, her bags contained a well-known selection of essentials: a crossword puzzle, a mirror, lipstick, a fountain pen, mints and her reading glasses. Reports also mention a neatly folded banknote for Sunday church offerings, and even small charms or keepsakes gifted by her children, such as miniature dogs and horses. Launer's royal association dates back to the 1950s, when Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother became an early customer and gifted one of their handbags to her daughter. What many may not know is that Camilla has been a quiet patron of Launer for more than two decades. She even carried one of the brand's bags for her wedding to Charles in 2005 Her Late Majesty awarded the company a Royal Warrant in 1968, which remained in place until her death in 2022 It sparked a seven-decade relationship between Elizabeth and the brand, with its signature handbags quickly becoming a defining accessory in her wardrobe. Among her favourite styles were the Traviata, Sophia, Violetta, Madelaine, Royale, Bellini, Encore and Jubilee - the latter of which was reissued in 2022 to mark her Platinum Jubilee and originally dated back to 1972. Most of Queen Elizabeth's bags were custom-made with longer handles to accommodate handshaking, and came complete with a matching purse, glasses case and compact mirror. Unlike the brand's standard suede linings, the Queen's bags featured woven interiors. Angela Kelly, Queen Elizabeth's dresser, would place bespoke orders each year to ensure consistency in style and functionality. For major royal occasions, Launer created scaled-down versions of larger styles. One such piece, a smaller version of the Lisa design, was carried by Elizabeth at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding in 2011. Her appearance caused a spike in interest and temporarily crashed Launer's website. To mark her 85th birthday, Gerald Bodmer gifted the Queen a special evening bag named Faith, crafted from silver leather and featuring a solid silver emblem adorned with zircons. She carried the shimmering bag to the State Banquet at the Élysée Palace in Paris in 2014 and to the Thistle Service at St Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh in 2016. Earlier this month, Queen Camilla paid her own tribute to that iconic style. At the State Banquet for French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte, she carried a silver bag nearly identical to the one gifted to Queen Elizabeth over a decade ago. In both design and legacy, Launer London continues to reflect the essence of British refinement - and now, with the Royal Warrant of Queen Camilla, that heritage looks set to continue for generations to come.
