Celebrity Big Brother 2025 Cast: All The Line-Up Rumours So Far

Yahoo24-03-2025

When we first heard way back in 2022 that ITV was bringing back Celebrity Big Brother, we had no idea whether or not it would work.
However, given that the revival included unexpected feuds, laugh-out-loud ridiculous moments and jaw-dropping revelations from the contestants, we clearly needn't have worried.
A second run of ITV's Celebrity Big Brother revival is now just weeks away, and fans should expect a new house, new twists and, of course, a whole new cast of celebrities.
Rumours are now swirling about exactly who will be taking part, including familiar faces from across the entertainment industry.
Curious? Well, here are all the rumoured housemates so far...
A soap veteran at just 37 years old, Jack P Shepherd has played David Platt in Coronation Street since before he was even a teenager.
In March, The Sun claimed that Jack had signed up for CBB to take some time away from the cobbles, before his character is involved in a huge storyline later in the year.
His castmate Colson Smith – with whom he hosts the podcast On The Sofa – competed in CBB last year, making it all the way to the final.
A true TV legend, Angelica Bell is best known to those of us who grew up in the 2000s for her work in children's telly.
The Sun claimed that she had landed a 'hefty' deal to appear on Celebrity Big Brother, having largely swerved reality TV over the course of her 25-year screen career.

After Nikita Kuzmin's success in CBB, it makes sense that producers would target another Strictly Come Dancing pro, and fans seem pretty convinced that Vito Coppola could be this year's pick.
When the Italian dancer teased in the above Instagram post in March that he had three major projects coming up, several of his followers flooded the comments with questions about whether CBB could be one of them, particularly as the show is now looming.
Vito previously impressed viewers when he took part in Celebrity MasterChef in 2024, going on to win the whole show, a year after he and Ellie Leach lifted the Glitterball Trophy off the back of their Strictly victory.
Decathlon athlete and two-time Olympic gold medallist Daley Thompson is another star reported by The Sun to have signed up for CBB in March.
The tabloid cited a 'TV insider' who claimed bosses had pursued Daley as he is 'notoriously unwoke and likes to be provocative', which could well cause controversy in the house.
Chris Hughes is best known for making the final of the third series of Love Island, in what proved to be a breakthrough moment for the reality show.
In the years since, he and former co-star Kem Cetinay briefly appeared in their own reality show (as well as enjoying an even more short-lived music career), and he can now be seen regularly presenting sports coverage on both the BBC and ITV.
According to The Sun, Chris has now signed on the dotted line to keep his reality career going with a stint in the CBB house. A 'source' claimed that 'execs are hoping he will bring his huge young fanbase with him to the show, along with some juicy tales'.
Following media rival Coleen Rooney's stint in I'm A Celebrity last year, where she finished in second place, it seems Rebekah Vardy is ready to step back into the spotlight herself.
Back in January, OK! magazine cited a 'source', who said: 'Becky will be hoping very much to emulate Coleen's success in the jungle, and turn public opinion around totally, with a stint on the show.
'She would hope for everyone to fall in love with her and be offered exciting projects off the back of it, just as Coleen has experienced with I'm A Celeb - and a primetime show like Celebrity Big Brother would be a great vehicle for a whole host of opportunities.'
Watch this space to see how that plays out…
Another of this year's rumoured CBB housemates who got their start on another reality show is Ella Morgan.
Ella previously took part in Married At First Sight in 2023, making history as the first trans bride to take part in any iteration of the show. She then followed that with a stint on another dating show, Celebs Go Dating.
Towards the end of last year, The Sun reported that she had been 'in talks with ITV producers to take part on CBB', with a source claiming the former MAFS fave is 'really up for it'.
Former RuPaul's Drag Race UK champion Danny Beard was reported by The Sun to be 'in talks' with ITV in January about appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, having won over viewers with their candid takes on the spin-off Late & Live.
Two months later, the tabloid followed this with a second article, claiming the drag artist had agreed to take part.
While best known for winning the fourth series of Drag Race's UK edition, Danny is no stranger to reality TV, after first making a name for themself on Britain's Got Talent in 2016, making it through to live shows.
They've since gone on to appear on the short-lived Celebrity Karaoke Club, as well as playing themself in an episode of Hollyoaks and landing an enviable presenting gig on Radio 1.
Last year, '90s kids' TV fave Paul Chuckle became the first celebrity rumoured to be 'in talks' for an appearance on Celebrity Big Brother.
According to The Sun, Paul – who made up one half of The Chuckle Brothers, alongside his late brother Barry – had actually been booked to appear on last year's series, but was ditched at the eleventh hour when bosses thought the line-up was already a little 'skewed' in terms of age.
'It's early days as the Big Brother team is still busy with October's 'civilian series',' a 'source' told the tabloid in August. 'But Paul's name is in the mix for the celeb version.'
For those who've checked out of The Only Way Is Essex in recent years, Ella Rae Wise has been with the show since 2019.
She is currently dating Dan Edgar, who she supported throughout his stint on Dancing On Ice earlier in the year.
At the beginning of March, The Sun named Ella as a potential CBB housemate, pointing out ITV's love of 'cross referencing between their shows as it helps with promotion'.
She has also appeared on Ex On The Beach, and The Challenge UK.
No, Chris Hughes isn't the only Love Island alum that's been linked with a spot on CBB this year.
Back in October, The Mirror reported that boxer and reality star Tommy Fury was 'producers' top pick' for the Celebrity Big Brother line-up. He'd previously been linked with a stint on I'm A Celebrity, following his much-publicised split from Molly-Mae Hague last year, but this proved not to be the case.
Instead, his former castmate Maura Higgins was cast on I'm A Celebrity, finishing in a not-too-shabby seventh place overall.
Annie Kilner found herself in the headlines last year thanks to her footballer husband Kyle Walker.
The Sun reported in February that Annie was eyeing £750K to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house, on the proviso that the influencer with whom her husband had an affair would not be making an appearance.
However, it was later claimed that she'd turned down ITV's offer as she wouldn't want to leave her young children.
Similarly, The Sun claimed in March that Georgia Horsley was being targeted by CBB bosses after she found herself in the headlines thanks to husband Danny Jones' antics at a Brit Awards afterparty earlier in the month.
The Mirror later claimed that the model had turned down a six-figure offer to compete in the reality show.
Following the controversy surrounding Amanda Abbington's stint on Strictly Come Dancing in 2023, which led to an investigation the following year, The Sun claimed that CBB bosses 'wanted to sign her up' in the hope she would shine more light on the scandal.
However, she was reported to have 'discreetly turned down the offer', after being turned off reality TV by her stint on Strictly.
Eamonn Holmes is a self-professed CBB fanatic, even entering the house as part of a task during the reality show's tenure on Channel 5.
He's also been rumoured to be in consideration as a housemate for as far back as we can remember, and this year's series is no exception.
As reported by The Mirror, CBB producers thought Eamonn's recent split from Ruth Langsford would make him an intriguing housemate, but the daytime star is said to have turned down the offer as the result of his ongoing health issues.
If you're thinking to yourself, 'surely Gary Lineker is too big for Celebrity Big Brother?'... well, you're not wrong.
Speaking on the podcast The Rest Is Football, the outgoing Match Of The Day host claimed his team had already been approached by CBB since he announced he would be leaving the long-running football show last year.
'My agent sent it through jokingly, and he replied, 'Oh yes, Gary's fee will be £50 million!',' he quipped. 'He did it completely as a joke, obviously, and they came back and said, 'Oh, that's a little bit... it's not within our budget'.'
When co-host Alan Shearer claimed his guest was 'going to get asked to go on all of them', he fired back: 'I can tell you now, don't bother asking.'
Interestingly, Gary's name has also come up during reports about the potential cast of the celebrity version of The Traitors, which is also set to air later this year.

An Ode to Natalie Portman's Rich Mom French Open Look

Do you ever look at someone and just think, Wow, they look rich? That was my immediate first though when I spotted Natalie Portman looking like the epitome of sophistication at the French Open this past weekend. The actor was among the many notable attendees who attended the tennis tournament finals at the Roland-Garros Complex in Paris. Others included Cooper Koch, Lily Collins and husband Charlie McDowell, and Pharrell Williams with wife Helen Lasichanh were among the attendees. But Portman took the cake with her posh look. Up top, she embraced tennis whites in a crisp white button-up with a sharp collar that she turned upwards for an extra ounce of preppiness. The Black Swan star tucked her shirt into a pretty bubblegum-pink poplin skirt with a built-in belt. The chic ensemble was only made better by Portman's accessories: square brown tortoiseshell sunglasses, and a straw hat from Christian Dior, adorned with a blue-and-white sash emblazoned with the fashion house's name. The men's singles final match took place on Sunday, June 8, on day 15 of the French Open. Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz bested Italian Jannik Sinner, marking his second straight French Open win. Meanwhile, a day prior, American Coco Gauff won the women's singles finals, where she played against world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, from Belarus. With the win, Gauff claimed her second career grand slam singles title and became the first American to take home the French Open prize since Serena Williams did so in 2015. Enzo Staiola, Child Star in Vittorio De Sica's ‘Bicycle Thieves,' Dies at 85

Italian child actor Enzo Staiola, best known for playing, at the age of 9 years old, the sad-faced son Bruno Ricci in Vittorio De Sica's 1948 Neo-realist masterpiece Ladri di Biciclette (Bicycle Thieves), has died. He was 85. La Repubblica, the Italian newspaper, on Wednesday was first to report on the death of Staiola, who shot to international fame for his role in the Oscar-winning drama. No cause of death was given. More from The Hollywood Reporter Wes Anderson Shares How Indian Cinema Legend Satyajit Ray Shaped His Aesthetic Jason Constantine, Lionsgate Co-President, Dies at 55 Evan Shapiro to Keynote The Hollywood Reporter's Access Canada Summit Staiola's co-star in Bicycle Thieves in the role of Antonio Ricci, his impoverished father, was Lamberto Maggiorani, a factory worker-turned-actor, as De Sica wanted working class authenticity for his humanist drama. Antonio, with son in tow, in the film searches for a thief and his stolen bicycle, without which he cannot work and feed his young family. The loss of the bicycle proves to be a body-blow for the forlorn father, who goes on a frantic and fruitless odyssey through the streets of Rome. At one point, a desperate Antonio steals a bike himself and is caught by people nearby. When they show him mercy, the crestfallen father is left ashamed in front of his son. The classic Italian Neo-realist film left Staiola forever etched in celluloid history as Bruno Ricci, whose memorably big eyes were so expressive of childhood innocence as the young boy followed his anguished father through the streets of post-war Rome. Born on Nov. 15, 1939 in Rome, Staiola in a July 2023 interview with La Repubblica recalled first meeting De Sica, the celebrated Italian director, who apparently saw him walking home from school. 'I was coming back from school and at a certain point I noticed this big car following me at walking pace,' Staiola explained. 'Then this gentleman with gray hair, all dressed up, got out and asked me: 'What's your name?', and I was silent. And he said: 'But don't you talk?' 'I don't feel like talking,' I replied. My mother always told me not to be too familiar if someone stopped us… But De Sica followed me home. My parents recognized him right away. He was a famous actor. He sat at the table in our house and tried to convince them to let me act in his new film. But they didn't want to.' Staiola eventually got the part of Bruno without having to audition after his uncle took him down to De Sica's studio to be reintroduced. Despite the success of Bicycle Thieves, which won the Academy Award for best foreign film, Staiola never worked again with the famed Italian director. 'De Sica was like that; he discovered you and then that was it. Maybe if he had followed me and made me other proposals I would have become an actor for life,' he recalled in the 2023 interview. Staiola, after his breakout role in Bicycle Thieves (sometimes known by the title The Bicycle Thief), went on to star in a few other movies, including Joseph L Mankeiwicz's The Barefoot Contessa drama in 1954, which also starred Humphrey Bogart and Ava Gardner. His credits included 1950s Italian movies like Hearts Without Borders, Vulcano, Guilt is Not Mine and A Tale of Five Women. And he had a small part in 1977 in Flavio Mogherini's The Girl in the Yellow Pyjamas. But Staiola after early success retreated from film sets and became a mathematics teacher and a longtime clerk in a land registry office. And he appears to have regretted becoming an Italian movie star. 'In the end, it was a real pain in the ass,' he told La Repubblica. 'As a kid I could never play with my friends because if I made a mark on my face I couldn't make movies anymore. Then it was also a bit boring, the times of cinema are very long.'
