Inside Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos' Wedding: New Details on Dress Designer, Location, ‘Multi-Day Affair'

Yahoo30-05-2025
When Lauren Sánchez marries billionaire Jeff Bezos next month in a lavish destination wedding in Italy, she will be wearing custom Dolce & Gabbana couture looks made to match every event during the star-studded, multi-day celebration, a source tells Us Weekly exclusively.
"It will be a big wedding," the source said, and "a very Italian wedding." The exclusive details may also recall Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's May 2022 nuptials in Italy, where the bride, groom, and entire wedding party were outfitted in the Italian fashion label.
Of course, Sánchez and the Amazon founder's forthcoming, high-profile celebration have already caught the public's attention. Sánchez's older brother, Paul, previously described it to TMZ as an event that could rival Princess Diana's iconic 'wedding of the century' in both scale and magnificence.
Rumored wedding attendees include celebrities Katy Perry, Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Eva Longoria, who were all seen at Sánchez's recent bachelorette weekend festivities in Paris.

Sánchez, 55, is already a Dolce & Gabbana devotee, having chosen the designer for significant, sentimental events, whether by 61-year-old Bezos' side on his birthday in a sheer black confection or sitting front row in ethereal white lace at the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Sartoria show in Italy to cheer on her son, Nikko, when he walked the designer's runway in July 2024.
Before Nikko's turn on the catwalk, Sánchez was photographed arriving at Italy's Cagliari Airport in head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana. Walking next to Bezos, she looked every inch the 'proud mom,' as she put it on Instagram, in a lemon-yellow dress reminiscent of the Italian Riviera.
The philanthropist and Emmy Award-winning journalist consistently gravitates towards designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana for milestone occasions, which makes them a natural fit for her wedding couturiers. The news that Sánchez will be a Dolce & Gabbana bride is the latest thread weaving together a beautiful narrative between home, family and high fashion.
Sánchez's wedding wardrobe will mirror the picturesque setting, whether it's a corseted gown that commands all eyes at the altar or a boudoir-inspired LBD at the reception. Molto bella, indeed!

'Bachelorette' alum Hannah Brown marries Adam Woolard in France: ‘Mr. and Mrs. Woolard'

The couple exchanged vows at Domaine du Mont Leuze on Saturday, July 26. 7:25 Hannah Brown is officially off the market! Former "The Bachelorette" star announced she married Adam Woolard over the weekend. In a joint Instagram post on Sunday, Brown shared a stunning wedding photo with Woolard, introducing themselves as "Mr. and Mrs. Woolard 🤍." The nuptials took place on Saturday at Domaine du Mont Leuze in France, attended by 101 guests, according to People. "We wanted something really timeless and classic, and really just the celebration of our love with our friends and family," Brown told the outlet. For the special day, Brown wore a corseted ball gown with intricate leaf embroidery, paired with Jimmy Choo Staz Mesh Bow Pointed Pumps, while Woolard looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo. "I feel like it is so classic, timeless, but also feels a little unique. I love it," Brown shared. "I always knew I wanted to take up space on my wedding day because there's so many times in life, especially as women, that we feel like we need to be smaller. On my wedding day, I didn't want to feel that at all. I feel like a princess, and I feel like that's exactly how you should feel on your wedding day." Woolard also expressed his excitement, telling People he had always envisioned the moment of seeing Brown walk down the aisle. "I have always had a very clear picture of standing up at the altar and looking out at the audience and really connecting with everybody," Woolard said. "But then seeing Hannah walk down, I think is something that I've always had a very clear picture of and how I would feel in that moment. And I just, as a man, knowing that I'm going to get married, I've always had that image in my mind." The couple, who chose to live apart before their wedding, shared that they're looking forward to moving in together and "putting down roots" in Nashville. "We're really focusing on making this house a home together," Brown shared. "Spending time with our families and just having a little bit of a slower pace for just a little bit." Brown first gained recognition on season 23 of "The Bachelor" in 2018, finishing in the top seven, before becoming the lead on season 15 of "The Bachelorette." Brown met Woolard on a dating app, and they announced their engagement in August 2023, sharing a sweet carousel of photos on Instagram, including one where they touched foreheads as Brown showed off her engagement ring. "so happy," she wrote in the caption at the time. "i love our steady love. ❤️." In addition to "The Bachelorette," Brown also competed on season 28 of " Dancing with the Stars," winning the competition with professional dancer Alan Bersten.

Emily Ratajkowski Posted a Nude Mom Photo Dump — but the Commenters Shamed Something Else Entirely

Emily Ratajkowski's latest photo dump had all the usual ingredients for a good old-fashioned mom-shaming: sun-drenched selfies, summer fashion, a glimpse of her 4-year-old son Sly — and yes, a fully nude sunbathing shot tossed casually into the mix. But this time, the Instagram comment section didn't go after her for the nudity. They pivoted, fast. The carousel showed Ratajkowski enjoying a late-summer trip to Italy. Her followers saw trattoria snaps, an Alfa Romeo Spider, and her son dancing by an olive tree. Nestled in among the scenic views and toddler candids was a photo of the model reclining nude on a lounge chair, wearing nothing but a red baseball cap and a look that said, yes, I know what I'm doing. Historically, this would've sparked the usual cycle of 'you're a mom, put some clothes on!' — the kind of criticism she's fielded for years. 'You need to eat a few peanut butter and jelly sandwiches,' one commenter wrote. 'You're very beautiful young woman, but your rib cage not so.' Another chimed in: 'When you start seeing the whole rib cage it means you might need to put some weight on.' Others speculated about medication — 'Stop with the Wegovy 💉💉' — or offered their own strange diet solutions, like one who asked, 'Emily can I offer you a porcupine sandwich? It's a typical Italian food.' (You can see the photos on her Instagram.) It wasn't just the usual trolls, either. Several commenters attempted to cloak the critique in concern: 'I'm not one to typically say this,' one wrote, 'but this is looking unhealthy. Take care of yourself whatever health struggles you're going through.' This kind of body policing — especially toward mothers — is nothing new for Ratajkowski. In recent years, she's been slammed for everything from being 'too sexy' to dressing her son in clothes strangers deemed 'not good enough.' In early 2024, she posted, 'Shame on you all,' after her comments were filled with strangers telling her she didn't 'deserve to be a mom.' This week's backlash might've shifted its focus, but the message remains the same: If you're a mother in the public eye, the internet will always find a new way to tell you you're doing something wrong. At his first Comic-Con, George Lucas previews Lucas Museum of Narrative Art

SAN DIEGO – George Lucas has amassed 50 years of cool stuff, and now he's going to have a place to put it. Even better, you can see it, too. Original sketches, paintings and assorted illustrations from the 'Star Wars' creator's personal collection – plus quite a bit representing that galaxy far, far away − will be on display at the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art. The building is under construction in Los Angeles' Exposition Park, will open in 2026, and is dedicated to 'cultural fantasy,' Lucas said. The Hollywood icon was joined on Sunday, July 27, at a Comic-Con panel about the museum by 'Star Wars' illustrator and production designer Doug Chiang, Oscar-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro, and moderator Queen Latifah. It was Lucas' first time at Comic-Con in his legendary career, earning a standing ovation from the 6,500 faithful in Hall H. But instead of waxing nostalgic about "Star Wars" and his movies, Lucas previewed the creation of his passion project. Join our Watch Party! Jackson took the crowd on a tour of what will be in the space, from an exhibit on myths through the ages to displays featuring artists like Norman Rockwell, Frank Frazetta, Jack Kirby and R. Crumb. Some of the works in the museum include the first Flash Gordon character drawing from 1934 ('You can see all the smudges,' Latifah noted), original 'Peanuts' sketches from the 1950s and '60s, and an original drawing of the 'Iron Man' No. 1 cover from 1968. 'Star Wars' fans will find plenty to love, too, including actual vehicles like a Naboo starfighter from Lucas' prequel movies and speeder bikes from 'Return of the Jedi.' And here's another fun fact: The museum architecture contains no right angles, only curves. Lucas, 81, has collected 40,000 pieces of art in the past five decades. 'It occurred to me: What am I going to do with it all?' he said. 'I'm not going to sell it. I could never do that. It's not what art is.' He called the museum a "temple to the people's art" and discussed that art is "a personal thing" to us, "not how much it cost or what celebrity did it or whatever. And I don't think it's anything that anybody else can tell you, 'That's art, that's not art.' It doesn't work that way. If you have an emotional connection, then it's art. "I've discovered just from my experience of making movies and things that other people's opinions don't mean much." Del Toro, a board member for the Lucas museum, appreciates "the pieces we have that celebrate freedom from anarchy," he said. "Comics were the first one to punch Nazis before movies." And with art, "we're not eternal. But what we hold and cherish is." The recent fires made del Toro worry a little about his own large collection. "I draw the line at three houses full of stuff," he said with a laugh. "Now that this museum exists, maybe some of it goes there." And the Lucas museum very much reflects the man whose name is on it, said Chiang, whose own work will be on display. "George leads from the heart, and this museum is him. My hope is that it will inspire the next Norman Rockwell or Frank Frazetta."
