Venom star Tom Hardy makes shocking health announcement: ‘It's all falling to bits now, and it's not going to get better'

Hollywood star Tom Hardy recently admitted to his declining health and feeling dizzy during the interviews, claiming that the situation is not getting better anytime soon, leaving his fans concerned. Hardy, whose last film with Gareth Evans, Havoc, became a big Netflix hit despite mixed reviews from critics and fans, admitted that after spending years doing physically demanding roles, his body is exhausted to the core and has hit a point of no return. Speaking with the magazine Esquire UK, Hardy also revealed his struggle with a long list of injuries, admitting to taking medications just to push his limits while doing stunts in films.

'I got dizzy today,' Hardy shared during the interview, explaining how he had to take a Sudafed just to push through. 'You know when you feel not right, but you can't tell someone you don't feel right?' he said, describing his situation while dealing with busy press day and struggling with health. Hardy revealed a long list of injuries he's dealing with. 'I've had two knee surgeries now, my disc's herniated in my back, I've got sciatica as well,' he said, adding, 'And I have that… is it plantar fasciitis? Where did that come from? And why? Why?!' He then opened up about pulling a tendon in his hip. 'It's like, it's all falling to bits now, and it's not going to get better,' he revealed.

But that's not all. Hardy, who became a household name with the Venom trilogy and recently starred in MobLand alongside Pierce Brosnan, explained that there is 'more, more, more,' adding, 'Of what? Stomach ulcers? Blood pressure? Your knees are going, your hair's falling out, your teeth are wonky, you're almost 50.' However, he continued that no one cares, and it's time for him to handle these problems on his own. He also mentioned he's been exploring different ways to manage the pain. Speaking about stem cell treatment, he said, 'Probably, yeah… if it comes down to the wire.' He's also looked into homoeopathic remedies and custom treatments, like tinctures, trying anything to cope.
Hardy, who landed his role in Venom in 2018, returned for two sequels after the Sony production grossed over $856 million at the worldwide box office. The actor was roped in for Venom: Let There Be Carnage and 2025's Venom: The Last Dance, both of which were massive successes. About his role, he said, 'I loved playing Eddie in Venom.' I was just really trying to push myself as much as I could. But I had no Spider-Man! No Avengers! It's just us.' He continued, 'there's just no crossover,' he added, referring to the gap between Sony and Marvel. 'We'd love to cross over! That's not happened. That's what happens, and it's one of those things.' The Mad Max star joked during the sit-down: 'This is the biopsy of where we're at: two vapes, somebody else's clothes, and a hotel room that neither of us feels comfortable in.' Despite all his health woes, the actor hasn't given up on fitness. Hardy continues to train in jiu-jitsu and has even earned a purple belt. He says the sport helps him mentally and physically, even though it's far from glamorous. 'You're not winning anything. It's very humiliating, in the right way,' he said. For him, jiu-jitsu isn't about ego. 'Only your ego will take you any further.'
