Gagan Arora was born on September 16, 1993, in New Delhi. He completed his schooling at National Victor Public School in the city and then earned a bachelor's degree in commerce from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. When he was a part of Delhi University, his love for acting was born. The Lafangey star actively participated in the college dramatics society and performed in street plays.

Recalling her first meeting with the superstar, Madhoo shared, 'I did a film called Nannaku Prematho with him. In that film, he had mohawk hairstyle. When we went to shoot for the first time in Spain, as soon as I saw him, I said, 'Okay, so this is the look of the hero!' So, he changed himself completely. He is very wonderful.' The host also asked her to reflect on how South cinema was a joke in Bollywood a few years ago. If you have a problem with my Hindi, then no problem, I can learn it. But when I was young, I was scared of the South Indian tag. There was a fear. I even tried to learn Urdu,' she said. Moreover, the Phool Aur Kaante (1991) actor wanted to start her acting career with Hindi cinema. 'Even when I was wanting to become an actor, I wanted to star in Hindi films.
