Athiya and KL Rahul welcomed their daughter, Evaraah, on March 24 this year. Earlier, in a LinkedIn post, Suniel talked about becoming a grandfather and said, 'Becoming a grandfather recently is a feeling I can't even describe. It's a happiness that's pure and untouched by anything the world can give or take away. I've spent decades building and running businesses, making films, and trying to create something meaningful. And I'm proud of that.'
He added, 'But when I hold my granddaughter, none of that matters. The race to have more kind of fades when you come to that point in life where you realise what truly matters. And seeing my Amma hold her great-granddaughter in her arms is the kind of moment that is now a core memory. I'll never get over the beauty of such moments.'

The Supreme Court's recent order to relocate all stray dogs in Delhi-NCR to shelters has sparked a massive debate online. Several celebrities, including Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, John Abraham, Varun Grover, and Vir Das, have criticised the move, with some calling it a 'death sentence for all dogs." Now, Bhumi Pednekar has also weighed in, sharing a deeply personal perspective on the matter. On Instagram, Bhumi Pednekar shared a post featuring pictures of her dog, Bruno. Some slides showed him alone, while others captured Bhumi happily posing with her furry companion. However, behind those adorable snapshots lies a story of survival, which the actress revealed in a heartfelt note attached to the post. 'The Indian Pariah dog has walked alongside us for over 4,500 years," she wrote, emphasising their presence in the ancient Indian texts. She continued, 'They are part of our cultural and spiritual heritage — mentioned in the Rig Veda, the Mahabharata, and the Upanishads. In our ancient scriptures, they stood for loyalty, dharma, spiritual companionship, and protection." Bhumi Pednekar Calls For Compassion For Bhumi, removing these animals en masse is not the solution. Instead, according to her, it is important to address the root causes through compassion and right action. She concluded her post with a plea, writing, 'Removing them en masse, stripping them of the only life they know, will not solve the root issues — it will only create more cruelty and displacement. May there be empathy. May there be peace. May justice prevail." Meanwhile, the court directed civic authorities in Delhi-NCR, especially in Gurugram, Noida and Ghaziabad, to set up shelters with a capacity for 5,000 stray dogs.
