THE RUNDOWN
In June 2025, Jeff Bezos married his partner of six years, Lauren Sánchez, and it was a massive event. The pair had a whirlwind start to their relationship, announcing they were together days after Bezos publicly separated from his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott. Sánchez was also going through a separation and divorce, but the drama around their beginning did not stop the pair from enjoying life and love all over the world.
Aside from making appearances on stunning vacation after stunning vacation, the couple is very private and rarely speak about one another. But a few quotes have been shared, especially around their wedding.
Here's their complete relationship history so far.
The pair reportedly first met in 2016 through Sánchez's ex-husband, Patrick Whitesell, at an Apple release party for the movie Manchester by the Sea hosted by Matt Damon and Bezos.
Bezos hired Sánchez's company, Black Ops Aviation, in 2018 to cover footage for his space travel company, Blue Origin. They were photographed that month taking a helicopter ride in Santa Monica, California, though the photos were not shared until after they announced their relationship.
Bezos announced his divorce from MacKenzie Scott in January 2019. The former couple was married for 25 years and share four children.
'As our family and close friends know, after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared life as friends,' Bezos wrote on X.
In April that year, Sánchez initiated a divorce from her husband of 14 years, Hollywood agent Patrick Whitesell, with whom she shares two children.
The same day as his X statement, People spoke with a source who said, 'Lauren and Jeff have been spending a lot of time together over the last year and especially the past few months. At first, it was socially at parties…here and there. But their time together has definitely seemed to evolve, raising some eyebrows. Jeff has met a small group of Lauren's girlfriends, too. The two of them are sort of thick as thieves right now.'
The source added, 'Patrick and Lauren have been on and off for a while and have been separated. [Patrick] knew they were seeing each other.'
A few weeks later, another source told People, 'They are very much together and are planning to move in together.'
Bezos and Sánchez were seen in public for the first time since the January drama, enjoying a date in New York City, according to People.
'Both Jeff and Lauren have been focused on their kids for the last several months,' a source said. 'Any relationship had to be on the back burner for that reason. Now that each has reached a divorce settlement, they thought the time was right to finally date like regular people.'
They enjoyed some PDA at the Men's Finals Day of the Wimbledon tennis championships that July.
Sánchez turned 50 in December, and Page Six reported that Bezos threw her two birthday parties: an 'intimate dinner for family,' and a 'huge bash' for all their friends. Attendees included Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Scooter Braun, Barry Diller, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Timothée Chalamet.
'Jeff and Lauren looked happier than ever,' said a source.
On one of their many trips, they visited the Taj Mahal.
A source close to the couple alleged they were taking an interest in philanthropy to People in January 2021.
'Both Jeff and Lauren are really energized by the work they are doing in philanthropy,' the source said. 'It's been a focus and bright spot for them, particularly over the last year.'
Sánchez greeted Bezos when he returned from his first trip to space.
The couple attended the LACMA Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles.
A viral clip of the event showed Sánchez chatting with actor Leonardo DiCaprio, while Bezos stood by her side.
Bezos seemed to find the moment funny, writing on X, 'Leo, come over here, I want to show you something… @LeoDiCaprio.'
That same month, they went to the Baby2Baby Gala in West Hollywood.
In 2022, Bezos gushed about his future wife, saying to to CNN, 'Lauren is the most generous, most big-hearted person that you would ever meet. She is an inspiration in that way at every level. She is generous with somebody she just meets, she's generous with every person, and she's generous in the large too.'
Sánchez made a very rare comment on her relationship in an interview with the Wall Street Journal.
'We love to be together, and we love to work together,' she shared. 'We fly together. We work out together. We're together all the time'
She said of the Amazon founder, 'He's really funny. He makes me laugh all the time. He can be goofy.'
They attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party together.
Bezos proposed to Sánchez in May on his yacht, according to People, while in the south of France after attending the premiere of Killers of the Flower Moon at the Cannes Film Festival.
'He proposed last week,' said a source. 'They're on cloud nine—so happy and madly in love. Her engagement ring is beyond stunning. And huge! She keeps playing with it and looking at it. You can tell she loves it.'
That same month, Sánchez was honored at This Is About Humanity's 5th Anniversary Soirée and mentioned Bezos in her acceptance speech.
'I want to thank each and every one of you for coming out here today, and I want to thank you all for supporting This is About Humanity,' Sánchez said. 'Thank you, and Jeff, I just want to say thank you for inspiring me to go out into the world and make a difference.'
They hosted a massive engagement party at Barry Diller and Diane von Furstenberg's Beverly Hills home, according to Vogue, with their close friends. The event was attended by Oprah Winfrey, Salma Hayek Pinault, Barbra Streisand, Kris Jenner, Sarah Staudinger, Robert Pattinson, Suki Waterhouse, and Miranda Kerr.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Sánchez celebrated Bezos on his 60th birthday.
'Today is another day where your laughter fills our home, and that smile of yours lights up every room. Wishing you an abundance of simple joys and quiet moments of happiness,' she wrote at the time. 'May this year be filled with everything you love, from peaceful mornings to joyous celebrations.'
Sánchez continued, 'I hope each day brings you countless reasons to smile, just like you give me a reason to smile every single day. Love you, and happy birthday, my love. ❤️🤍❤️'
The couple attended the White House state dinner.
Sánchez shared some plans for the wedding on Today, saying, 'I have to say, I do have a Pinterest—I'm just like every other bride, so I do have a Pinterest board."
Bezos and Sánchez were married on the island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy, on June 27, 2025. According to CNN, there were 200 guests on the list, including most of the Kardashian and Jenner family, as well as Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble. Other celebs at the ceremony were Orlando Bloom, Tom Brady, Sydney Sweeney, Ellie Goulding, Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, and Bill Gates.
Sanchez wore a custom gown by Dolce & Gabbana with a corset bodice, long train, and lace sleeves. Bezos wore a classic black tuxedo. After the reception, guests went on to party at the Gritti Palace, according to a report from TMZ. Ellie Goulding sung a number of songs for guests, and Andrea Bocelli's son, Matteo, sang for the group as well.
In an interview with Vogue ahead of her wedding, Sánchez spoke about how she isn't the same person she was before dating Bezos. 'I went into a lot of therapy and it's changed me in a bunch of ways. But it's really Jeff,' she said. 'Jeff hasn't changed me. Jeff has revealed me. I feel safe. I feel seen. He lets me be me. Like I said about Sophia Loren being unapologetically free, he lets me be unapologetically free.'
She added of Bezos, 'I'm happy that I'm getting married and I get to spend my life with my best friend, someone who sees me, someone who adores me, someone who I adore. I am the luckiest woman on the planet.'

Chris Appleton Breaks Silence on Lukas Gage Divorce

It's been two years since his whirlwind romance with actor Lukas Gage came to an end, but it seems Chris Appleton has no regrets. The celeb hairstylist, who's best known for laying styles on Kim Kardashian and Dua Lipa, recently opened up about his divorce from Lukas for the first time since their separation. During an Aug. 6 appearance on Jay Shetty's On Purpose podcast, Chris revealed how the breakup affected his mental health and why he waited to talk about it so openly. 'This is the first time I've ever spoke about this,' he said. 'I think people have this perception, from social media probably, that I have it together... But the truth is, especially during that time, I was going through a lot of private pain.' In case you need a refresher: Chris and Lukas went public with their relationship in February 2023 and tied the knot just months later in April. According to court docs obtained by People, Chris then filed for divorce in November 2023, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason behind their separation. Their divorce was ultimately finalized in June 2024, with the former couple agreeing to waive spousal support. 'Moving fast doesn't always mean you're reckless,' Chris said of the quick timeline. 'I think sometimes it means you're hopeful.' According to the stylist, he 'would rather love and fall than to never feel anything at all.' He added, 'You can love someone and there not be a forever happy ending. I think you learn so much from it. I think any relationship I've ever gone into, I've learned so much from it.' Though this is the first time Chris has spoken about the end of his short-lived relationship, Lukas previously referred to the marriage 'manic' during a March 2024 appearance on Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen. 'Manic, absolutely unhinged,' he said about the impulsive decision before referring to the fur coats they wore at the Las Vegas chapel where they tied the knot. 'I had a manic episode for six months. Those jackets, those furry jackets…' Lukas continued, 'What happened to me? I don't know, literally, what went through my head. But we live and we learn.' Here's hoping we get more deets from Chris when his memoir, Your Roots Don't Define You, drops next year.

Tom Parker's Widow Kelsey Opens Up About the Loss of Her Baby Boy for the First Time, Says She 'Can't Believe She's Back Here'

NEED TO KNOW Kelsey Parker is opening up about the stillbirth of her son Phoenix for the first time The podcaster and widow of The Wanted's Tom Parker said that she "can't believe I'm back here" three and a half years after her late husband's death Kelsey announced in June that she'd tragically lost her baby sonKelsey Parker is opening up for the first time about the stillbirth of her baby son Phoenix. On Thursday, Aug. 7, the podcaster and widow of The Wanted's Tom Parker, 34, appeared on Lorraine and spoke with host Lorraine Kelly for the very first time about her baby boy, who she previously announced was "born sleeping." "I know people are absolutely devastated for us as a family," Kelsey began. "And it is devastating, but I am strong." The mom of two announced her son's stillbirth in a post on Instagram that included a poem she'd written for her late son, whom she shares with partner Will Lindsay. 'I have friends that obviously I couldn't tell and they were out in restaurants and they were literally read the post and they were crying," she said of the post. "For me, a poem, I like to share poems. I think they're so meaningful and powerful and that suited us to share our news. And it's such hard news to share." Asked how her two kids — Aurelia, 6, and Bodhi, 4, who she shares with her late husband Tom — are helping her through this difficult time, Kelsey explained that her kids are "my everything." "And they have got me through the darkest of times. I can't believe I'm back here, you know, three and a half years later, I'm dealing with such a loss and a devastation," she said, referencing Parker's death in 2022 following a diagnosis of stage four glioblastoma. "But me and Will have the kids and they have to have normality." Kelsey explained that she felt like she had to rip the Band-Aid off and reenter normal life. "If I'd left it till after the summer holidays and I came back and I saw the parents, people don't know what to say," she said. "We're so awful about talking about grief and loss and death. And us as a family, we're not. So I did get up and I did the do school run, and I faced everyone.' As for how she's approached her baby son's death with her two kids, Kelsey said she feels like it's most important to be really honest with her kids so they don't feel like they were left out of anything. "It's being honest. It's telling them facts because I never wanted them or want them to feel like I've not been honest and years later they go, 'Oh but mom, you didn't tell me this, and you didn't tell me that,'" she shared. "And I don't like the thought of them being in separate rooms to adults and adults having conversations because kids listen." "And obviously, they've gone through this before," Kelsey said. "They've lost their dad. They know their dad's in with the angels now. So we said Phoenix is gone with your daddy.' Kelsey noted that she and her partner Will are just taking each day one at a time, even if each day might look different. "But I'm strong. I keep saying this, but I am actually really strong," she affirmed. "And the one thing we are guaranteed is that we are going to die. So I do think talking about death and grief is so important.' The mom of two said she's been relying on her bereavement nurse to help her through this difficult time and took a vacation with her partner and kids to get some space from the situation. She also chose to stay off social media for a little bit because it was beginning to feel like it was too much. 'We're allowed to be devastated," Kelsay added at the end of her interview. "We're allowed to be sad and we're allowed to grieve. But just remember, everybody grieves differently." Read the original article on People

Sarah Ferguson Sends Clever Royal Message in Embroidered Loafers Amid Infidelity Allegations

The Duchess and her ex-husband are the subjects of a new bombshell Gist Sarah Ferguson stepped out in a pair of statement loafers embroidered with the words "Never complain, never explain." The phrase is the unofficial motto of the British royal family. Ferguson and her ex-husband Prince Andrew are the subjects of a new royal biography, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of Ferguson is sticking to her famous family's unofficial motto following new rumors of infidelity during her decade-long marriage to Prince Andrew. Stepping out at a book signing event for her 2021 novel, Her Heart for a Compass, the Duchess sported shoes that quite simply said it all: "Never complain, never explain." The velvet loafers have long been a part of Ferguson's wardrobe. She last wore them in 2022, per People. Royal biographer Penny Junor explained the significance of the embroidered message in a prior interview with the publication. "There has been a long tradition in the British royal family of riding criticism out and keeping your head down and taking the long view," she said. "Crises come and go, and people get criticized—often for five minutes by the media, who then move on." As for those infidelity rumors? The Duchess and her ex-husband are back in the spotlight thanks to historian Andrew Lownie's upcoming book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, which drops on August 14. Excerpts published by The Daily Mail claim that the Prince slept with "dozens of women" and that his wife also had several affairs. "Friends say Andrew accepted his wife's infidelities and that his marriage was over," Lownie writes in the book, per The Daily Mail. "He would dine alone off a tray in his study while Sarah and one of her lovers ate together elsewhere in the house." Despite their 1996 divorce, the Duke and Duchess of York still live together at Windsor's historic Royal Lodge. King Charles has attempted to evict his brother following his fall from grace but has so far been unsuccessful. "What I think he feels is that if he moves out of Royal Lodge it's somehow publicly accepting guilt for which he has not been proved," royal expert Hugo Vickers told The Sun, referring to his alleged link with Jeffrey Epstein. The case was settled out of court back in 2022. Read the original article on InStyle
