Ahead of the highly anticipated fifth and final season of the hit Netflix show premiering later this year, the actor who plays Mike Wheeler teased his character's fate during a recent interview with People magazine.

'I was so happy with his ending, and I don't know, I was satisfied, but I was also very confused and sad, but also very happy,' Wolfhard said.
The Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire actor added that wrapping up the series 'was definitely a lot.'
'I felt like I was in a dream or something,' he said. 'None of it felt real. I don't know, it felt perfect.'
Stranger Things, which initially premiered in 2016, follows a group of friends in 1980s Hawkins, Indiana, who uncover a mystery involving secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one strange little girl after a young boy disappears. The series also stars Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton and Joe Keery.
Earlier this year, creators the Duffer Brothers also teased the final season for fans. 'We spent a full year filming this season,' Ross Duffer said at a Netflix press event in January. 'By the end, we'd captured over 650 hours of footage. So, needless to say, this is our biggest and most ambitious season yet. It's like eight blockbuster movies. It's pretty insane.'
Matt Duffer added, 'At the same time, we think it's our most personal story. It was super intense and emotional to film — for us and for our actors. We've been making this show together for almost 10 years. There was a lot of crying. There was so much crying. The show means so much to all of us, and everyone put their hearts and souls into it. And we hope — and believe — that passion will translate to the screen.'

Richard Simmons' L.A. Mansion Where He Died Listed for $7 Million 1 Year After His Death

The home where Richard Simmons died is up for sale one year after his death His former 4-bedroom and 5-bathroom estate is listed for $7 million The fitness guru died one day after celebrating his 76th birthdayRichard Simmons' longtime Los Angeles home where he died has been listed for sale, one year after his death. The fitness guru died in the Hollywood Hills home one day after celebrating his 76th birthday, his longtime publicist, Tom Estey, confirmed to PEOPLE on July 13, 2024. At the time, a law enforcement source told PEOPLE, "The LAPD are not pursuing the investigation as if foul play was involved at this point." The Richard Simmons Estate, as the $7 million property is called, was built in 1937. Sitting on a half-acre lot above the Sunset Strip, it spans approximately 4,119 sq. ft. and has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. John A. Lucy of Keller Williams Hollywood Hills is the listing agent of the home, which is described as a Neo-Classical Revival colonial. Features include a gated motor court, separate from the stately front portico with grand columns. Once inside, the front doors lead to a formal center hall entry with custom wood flooring, an updated kitchen featuring Thermador appliances and breakfast area, plus a formal dining room spacious enough to hold 10 guests. Additional areas for entertaining include a step-down living room and music room with a double-sided fireplace. Palladian fan windows and French doors are among the carefully thought-out architectural detailing. An added maid suite for staff or guests has its own laundry, pantry and service entrance. With a home this special, of course, the primary suite — with its two levels and four rooms — would also be designed to impress. The area is home to a dressing room, bathroom and a large finished upper level Keiser-equipped gym or additional living space. A pool and pool house are some of the perks to be enjoyed, along with the landscaping design that offers a scenic backdrop. Simmons, known for his vibrant personality, had not been publicly seen since 2014 and became increasingly private as time went on. However, he posted on social media the day before his death, letting fans know he was grateful for the 'many messages' he received for his birthday. Teresa Reveles lived with Simmons for 35 years and was often erroneously referred to as his housekeeper. After his death, she recalled how every night a family of skunks would arrive at his back door in West Hollywood, Calif. Simmons would feed them peanuts by hand, getting so close that the animals became accustomed to him. ''Richard! They probably have rabies!' I would tell him,' Reveles told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview. 'He died happy,' she added of her longtime friend. Read the original article on People

Actor Ellen Pompeo says she was detained by TSA over sunflower seeds 'They don't want to risk Dolly's reputation Q score and her popularity by associating with Meghan Markle,' Schofield alleged during a podcast appearance. 'They knew that this ask was just to give Meghan Markle credibility in this lifestyle space, a space that Dolly does have a lot of credibility in.' Schofield went on to say that her team felt as if Markle was trying to take advantage of her popularity. Markle's lifestyle series was released on Netflix in March and was immediately renewed for a second season despite being slammed by critics. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. All rights reserved. Sean Penn dubs Hegseth ‘Chief Petty Officer' for effort to strip Harvey Milk's name from Navy ship

Sean Penn, who played Harvey Milk on the big screen, is ripping Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for reportedly ordering the Navy to strip an oil ship of its name honoring the gay rights activist. 'I've never before seen a Secretary of Defense so aggressively demote himself to the rank of Chief PETTY Officer,' Penn said in a Wednesday statement to The Hollywood Reporter. According to a memorandum from the Navy secretary's office stated that plans were in the works to rename the oiler USNS Harvey Milk. 'Secretary Hegseth is committed to ensuring that the names attached to all DOD installations and assets are reflective of the Commander-in-Chief's priorities, our nation's history, and the warrior ethos,' chief Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said in a statement about the move, which pointedly came at the beginning of Pride Month. 'Any potential renaming(s) will be announced after internal reviews are complete,' Parnell said. Penn won an Academy Award for taking on the title role in the 2008 film 'Milk.' The first openly gay man to be elected to public office in California when he became a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, Milk was assassinated in 1978. Screenwriter Dustin Lance Black, who also took home an Oscar for his work on 'Milk,' called Hegseth's order 'yet another move to distract and to fuel the culture wars that create division.' Calling Milk a 'civil rights icon,' Black told The Hollywood Reporter, 'That's not going to change. Renaming a ship isn't going to change that.' 'These guys are idiots,' the scribe said, adding that Hegseth 'does not seem like a smart man, a wise man, a knowledgeable man. He seems small and petty.' 'I would love to introduce him to some LGBTQ folks who are warriors who have had to be warriors our entire life just to live our lives openly as who we are,' Black said.
