2024: The good news for Rodgers in his final season for the Jets is that he outscored guys like C.J. Stroud and Matthew Stafford in fantasy points per game. The bad is that he was only QB23 in that regard. The numbers weren't bad by any means (3897-28-11), in fact if most quarterbacks put up those stats they'd have a little respect on their name. The problem was that it wasn't up to par from what we've seen from Rodgers.
What's Changed: Rodgers is now a member of the Steelers where he'll be tossing rock to his new WR1 in D.K. Metcalf. Jonnu Smith being added to the fold helps as well, but after that there isn't much proven talent as far as pass catchers at Rodgers disposal.
2025 Outlook: With how the Steelers want to play football, Rodgers numbers could look similar to what we saw in 2024. He'll be in a better football environment, but the 40-touchdown seasons for the future Hall of Famer look to be long gone.

The Baltimore Ravens flock shouldn't have any issues with a recent AFC North forecast. Those of you who follow this platform's work closely have seen this stated once before. It bears repeating for the sake of argument. HBO may have jumped the gun last season. It feels like this should have been the year that the Baltimore Ravens and their AFC North rivals were followed by the Hard Knocks cameras. There's so much to discuss. Aaron Rodgers recently joined the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Cleveland Browns have seemingly nine quarterbacks, including two rookie that you may have heard of. Ladies and gentlemen, how wbaout a hand for Dillon Gabriel and the oft-discussed Shedeur Sabders? Don't forget about the Cincinnati Bengals. Like Baltimore, they're home tone of the NFL's eite quarterbacks, but the 'Bungles', outside of paying Joe Burrow and their star wide receivers haven't done anything that makes much sense. All of that would certainly make for great television, but Hard Knock's will instead dedicate its In Season brand to following the four members of the NFC East. That's okay. Though we won't be treated to the behind-the-scenes accesss delivered by HBO last season, most believe they know how this story will play out. Stop us if you have heard his before. Ravens are again predicted to win the AFC North's crown The Ravens are again the favorites to win their division. If they do, they will accomplish a feat not seen since the AFC Central transformed into a four-team division 23 years ago. No team has won the AFC North crown three consecutive seasons, and Baltimore is predicted to end the jinx. We have all heard that for a while now. Bleacher Repoort's Moe Moton has become the most recent voice to express that theory. "Two-time league MVP Lamar Jackson and two-time rushing champion Derrick Henry will lead the Ravens to back-to-back AFC North titles. They should have plenty of help from their defense. They may allow the fewest passing yards and touchdowns because of their elite secondary, which features All-Pros Marlon Humphrey and Kyle Hamilton, two-time Pro Bowler Jaire Alexander, budding second-year cornerback Nate Wiggins and rookie first-round safety Malaki Starks." As Moten mentions, "the stacked roster will compete for the No. 1 seed in the AFC." The biggest threats to accomlishing that are the usual suspects, the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs. Despite Pittsburgh's effforts to challenge, there is minimal reason to worry. Aaron Rodgers is now a shell of himself. Baltimore's much-improved defensive unit features seven former first-round draft choices. There is talebt all over this roster. The only team that can stop the Ravens is... well... the Baltimore Ravens, which is an unfortunate angle we have seen play out in consecutive postseasons. Still, if this team has learned from its mistakes and they don't beat themselves, few NFL franchsies have the firepower to compete with the mighty and defending AFC North champions.

The New York Jets are hoping to hit on their recent quarterback acquisition, Justin Fields. After spending time with Aaron Rodgers under center, the Jets mutually split with the veteran quarterback this offseason. Fields enters the picture and both teams are hoping for a positive fresh start. A reporter asked New York Giants pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux how it's going for Fields in a Jets uniform from his perspective. Or is it Thibodeaux simply pointing out that the Giants' pass rush has been so dominant that they haven't given Fields a chance to get comfortable in the pocket? If it's the latter, Giants fans should feel fired up. All offseason long, the Giants' pass rush has been one of the brightest spots when it comes players or reporters assessing the team. This week, the Giants have been able to put their rush to the test in practice against the other New York-based organization, and it seems to be going well for Big Blue. He played in just 12 games last season, which amounted to 28 tackles, eight for a loss, and 5.5 sacks. That's a down year compared to his 50 tackles, 12 for a loss, and 11.5 sacks in 2023, when he played 17 games for the first and only time this year. With the Giants adding another dominant pass rusher to the picture in Abdul Carter, that should only make it more difficult for offensive lines to place their attention on everybody, including Thibodeaux. There might be more cooks in the kitchen, but that should put more food on Thibodeaux's plate. After a week of joint practices with the Jets, the Giants will take the field at MetLife Stadium for the first time this preseason on Saturday. Giants fans are unlikely to get a long look at their full pass rush—if any at all. Meanwhile, Fields could suit up and continue working on learning his new system in New York. The veteran quarterback is on his third team since getting drafted 11th overall in 2021. Fields spent his first three seasons in the NFL with the Chicago Bears. Last year, he was traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he started in six of the 10 games he appeared in. Back in March, Fields signed a two-year deal with the Jets. He's expected to be the team's full-time starter this year. With 44 starts under his belt, Fields holds a 14-30 record. He has thrown for 7,780 yards, 45 touchdowns, and 31 interceptions.
