Raksha Bandhan, one of the most auspicious festivals in India, is being celebrated today, August 9. It is a Hindu festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters during which sisters tie a Rakhi (sacred thread) on their brothers' wrists, symbolising love, protection and well-wishing. In return, brothers pledge to protect their sisters and offer gifts.
Like the rest of us, our favourite Bollywood celebrities have also marked the special festival with their siblings. Among all, was actor Sanjay Dutt, who extended a heartfelt wish for his sisters Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt on the occasion.
Sharing an adorable picture with his two sisters, the Munna Bhai MBBS actor wrote in the caption, 'Priya and Anju, having you as my sisters is the biggest blessing life could give me. Thank you for filling my life with love and strength. Happy Raksha Bandhan."

Sanjay Dutt, Priya Dutt and Namrata Dutt are the children of actors Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt. While Priya is a former politician, Namrata prefers to stay out of the public eye.
The trio shares a healthy bond and Sanjay often drops pictures from their happy family moments together on Instagram.

The actor will be next seen in the upcoming action thriller, Baaghi 4, co-starring Tiger Shroff, Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu. Helmed by A Harsha and backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is slated to hit the big screens on September 5. It will face a big box office clash with Vivek Agnihotri's upcoming film, The Bengal Files.

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], August 17 (ANI): Veteran Marathi actor Jyoti Chandekar passed away at the age of 69 on August 16 in Pune, her daughter actress, best known for her role as 'Poorna Aji' in the TV show 'Tharala Tar Mag,' had been unwell for a daughter, Tejaswini Pandit, took to her Instagram on Saturday to confirm the news of her passing along with an emotional note. 'It is with deep sorrow that I share the news that our mother, the esteemed and beloved actress Mrs. Jyoti Chandekar Pandit, who lived life on her own terms and always smiled wholeheartedly, passed away today, 16th August, at the age of 69 after a brief illness," she wrote in Marathi Chandekar's funeral took place on Sunday morning at Pune's Vaikunth television channel 'Star Pravah', which airs Tharala Tar Mag, also paid tribute to the actor, remembering her warm presence and significant contribution to Marathi entertainment. Jyoti Chandekar started acting at the age of 12 and worked for over five decades in theatre, films, and television. She became a familiar face in Marathi households and earned respect for her powerful performances. Her notable films include Mee Sindhutai Sapkal (2010) and Guru (2016). She also acted alongside her daughter, Tejaswini Pandit, in the award-winning film Ticha Umbartha, directed by Dipti Ghonsikar, where she played Pandit's mother-in-law. (ANI)

The actor faced online trolling after a video surfaced of her saying 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' on stage. Reacting to the memes, Janhvi took to Instagram to clarify the context and expressed her pride in raising the slogan. Sharing a video clip from the event, Janhvi wrote, 'Just for context full video lol. Unke bolne ke baad nahi bolti toh problem, aur bolo toh bhi video ko kaat ke meme material (If I did not say the slogan after him then it would be a problem, and now that I have said it, the video gets cut and made into meme material).'
