Morgan Wallen may be one of the biggest musical stars in America right now, but since he's such a central figure in country music, his work doesn't usually reach a global audience like some rappers or pop stars might. With his latest full-length I'm the Problem, the Grammy nominee has finally scored a major win in the United Kingdom, where he's been steadily building an audience for years. His newest release debuts at No. 1, earning the superstar his first leader on several tallies.
I'm the Problem opens at No. 1 on the Official Albums chart, which ranks the most consumed full-lengths and EPs in the U.K. That's the most important list of albums in the country — but it's not the only one where I'm the Problem runs the show. Wallen also starts his latest project atop the Official Albums Sales, Official Physical Albums, and Official Country Artists Albums rankings.
Wallen dominates three of those four lists for the very first time. He has previously hit the top spot on the Official Country Artists Albums chart – several times, in fact. The singer-songwriter has only placed a trio of titles on the list, and all of them have spent at least one turn at No. 1. Dangerous led for half a dozen frames, while One Thing at a Time only managed a single stint in charge.
Coincidentally, I'm the Problem also reaches the same starting point — No. 4 — on three other tallies. It kicks off its boots and makes a home in that spot on the Official Albums Streaming, Official Album Downloads, and Official Vinyl Albums charts simlutaneously.
In almost every instance, Wallen collects his first top 10 win with I'm the Problem. He has previously entered the coveted top 10 on the Official Album Downloads chart and, of course, on the Official Country Artists Albums list, where he has accrued three leaders.
Country music is not nearly as popular in the U.K. as it is in America, and it's rare for acts working in that style to top any ranking — let alone U.S.-based superstars. Wallen's reach now clearly extends beyond album rankings, as he scores two new hits on the Official Singles Chart.
'What I Want,' a collaboration with Tate McRae, launches highest, as it starts at No. 32. 'Just in Case,' another previous single from the set, finally debuts at No. 75, weeks after it was first released. Wallen has now accrued 10 placements on the most competitive songs ranking in that nation with these two wins.

One of Drake's most impressive Hot 100 showings is matched this week — not by another rapper or even a pop superstar — but by the biggest name in country music to emerge in quite some time. Morgan Wallen's new album I'm the Problem debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with the largest opening sum of 2025. Several tracks from the project reach the Hot 100's top 10 for the first time, with several opening in that space and others surging. Wallen is joined by Tate McRae at No. 1 with "What I Want," which debuts in the highest space. The brand new tune "I Got Better" opens at No. 7. At the same time, "Superman," which was released earlier in May as a promotional cut, breaks into the loftiest tier for the first time. The track originally kicked off its time at No. 16 but now rockets to No. 8 in its second stay on the tally. As "What I Want" and "I Got Better" debut inside the top 10 and "Superman" reaches No. 8, Wallen's I'm the Problem has now produced nine top 10 hits on the Hot 100. His full-length is just the fourth in history to score that many smashes, and Wallen is now tied with Drake at this figure. Drake's Certified Lover Boy also produced nine top 10 successes on the Hot 100 when it was brand new. He managed the feat in September 2021 when he occupied all but one slot inside the uppermost region on the ranking. Only one musician has conquered the entirety of the top 10 in one fell swoop — and she's managed to do so twice. Taylor Swift became the first artist to accomplish the incredible showing with her album Midnights, which sent its brand new cuts into the highest region. She repeated that showing and even expanded her reach to dominate the entire 14 highest spaces at one time with 2024's The Tortured Poets Department.

One name does stick out, however, from the bunch. The Beatles accomplished this showing for the first time in 1964. The band filled at least the top three spots on the Hot 100 for five separate chart weeks that year. It would be more than half a century before another musical act would manage such a showing. Ariana Grande completed the trifecta in 2019 for just a single frame when her album Positions arrived, becoming the first star since The Beatles to do so. Both Taylor Swift and Drake have managed the feat on three occasions, with separate albums. Kendrick Lamar also became a member of this exclusive grouping just last year — and he managed to do so more than once.
