Ye Disses Cam'ron For Saying He Put A 'Stain' On Chicago, And Cam Responds Exactly How You Think He Would

Yahoo09-05-2025
Cam'ron has responded to Ye taking aim at him due to the Harlem rhymer claiming the Chicago artist has put a 'stain' on his hometown with his antics.
After Cam's initial remarks that both Ye and incarcerated R&B star R. Kelly put 'a stain on a good city' with their behavior, Ye replied with a since-deleted X/Twitter post, where he first claimed to 'love' his former label mate before saying he almost didn't release new song 'COUSINS' due to people like the Purple Haze rhymer potentially making fun of him. The song highlights West's claim of having an incestuous relationship with his male cousin as a kid.
'How Cam say I'm doing anything bad for Chicago. Chicago loves me,' West posted. 'I love Cam. It's n***as like you that had me shook to release the song but I ain't scared of y'all n***as. And thank you for making dip set. You're a God.
'And f**k you by the way,' he added. 'And I got on my 2 million dollar dipset belt as I tweet.'
West also addressed Cam's comments during his Parti livestream with Sneako over the weekend, where he called Cam a 'pu**y a** ni**a' for his remarks, adding, 'don't tell me sh*t about Chicago.'
Cam shared his reaction on Monday's episode of his It Is What It Is podcast. Instead of responding with equal energy, the Uptown spitter laughed off Ye's shots while saying he doesn't go back and forth with anyone 'once you admit you suck d*ck,' a reference to the aforementioned 'Cousins' track, where Ye claims he performed oral sex on his male cousin until the age of 14.
'I don't usually talk to ni**as who suck d*ck, once they suck d*ck, I don't go back. I don't wanna go back-and-forth once you admit you suck d*ck. That's just me,' Cam said though chuckles. See his reaction to Ye's slights below.
In addition to Cam saying West is currently making his city look crazy, the rapper also previously called out the Bully artist for his 'disgusting' remarks regarding JAY-Z and Beyoncé's children.
'I was disgusted,' Cam said at the time. 'Why are you mentioning another man's kids? That's not only out of bounds, it's desperate.'

Chicago Air & Water Show soars and stuns over lakefront

Crouched down, Thaliya Martinez fidgeted with her camera lens, preparing for a day of photographing aircraft at Chicago's annual Air & Water Show. Martinez, a freelance photographer and member of the Army National Guard, said she aspires to be a pilot one day. '(Flying) is just so fascinating,' said Martinez, who came to the show for the second time ever. 'Because it just proves that anything is possible.' The 2025 Chicago Air & Water Show took off Saturday morning with organizers expecting over 1 million attendees throughout the weekend. Known as the biggest event of its kind in the country, the show drew locals and visitors alike to Chicago's lakefront beaches. The show featured the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and the U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights, both military groups that have performed in the show since the 1960s. A host of other military and civilian performers from the Marines, Coast Guard, Chicago Fire Department and Chicago Police Department also took to the skies. For Armen Tatevosian, a pilot who served in the Air Force, the show's performers did an amazing job executing their routines, even as some cloud cover swept along the beaches in the afternoon. 'Just the skill that these guys have are amazing,' he said. Tatevosian has come to the Air & Water Show for more than 20 years, and said the more technologically advanced aircraft have been 'awesome' to see. He attended Saturday's show with his wife and son. The Osprey tiltrotor aircraft and Thunderbirds were some of the Tatevosian family's favorite parts, he and his wife said. The air show also brought spectators from around the globe. Adrian Webster, an aviation photographer from the United Kingdom, flew to Chicago Thursday to take pictures of the performances during the weekend. Webster said air shows in Europe often don't allow aircraft to fly beyond a certain display line in the water. At Chicago's show, pilots frequently dipped close to the city's skyline, which he said was a 'completely different dynamic.' 'I've watched God-knows-how-much stuff online about U.S. air shows,' Webster said. 'Really wanted to go to one, so here I am.' Webster said he was most excited to photograph the B-2 Lancer, adding he hoped 'the aviation gods are on my side today.' Win Win, a data engineer who lives in the Wicker Park neighborhood, biked down to the Air & Water Show with less than an hour left in Saturday's schedule. He was able to catch the Thunderbirds' performance. 'It just mind-blows me that humans can … do these mind-blowing tricks with airplanes at high speeds — just like that,' Win said, gesturing to the Thunderbirds splitting off into all different directions overhead. He said he's 'for sure' returning to the show next year. The 'precision' action during some routines, like two planes flying so close they look like they're about to touch, were some of the highlights of the show. Martinez is a few years out from earning the certifications she needs to become a pilot, she said. As a Black woman, she's excited to enter a field in which people like her are underrepresented, she added. According to Sisters of the Skies, a pilots association, less than 1% of professional pilots in the U.S. are Black women. Saturday's show was one more way to increase her familiarity with aviation photography and flight itself, Martinez said. 'I'm looking to get some better shots, new angles,' she said. The show continues Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Just 22 Products From Etsy You'll Fall In Love With

A cozy blanket inspired by Taylor Swift's surprise song piano from The Eras Tour. This is the first summer in two years without an Eras show on my calendar or a livestream to tune into (a cruel summer, indeed), so the next best thing? Snuggling up with this blanket while watching the concert film (and waiting for the release of The Life of a Showgirl...) A pack of freeze-dried ice cream sandwich bites because freeze-dried candy has sufficiently taken over your FYP, so it's time to turn it up a notch, à la everyone's fave ice cream truck treat. A miniature Stanley-inspired keychain that also happens to be a lip balm holder!!! How neat! The best part is that, unlike the beloved cups, your balm won't spill out, and this won't run you nearly as much money. A photo print appropriate for hanging above the spot in your home where you and your BFF love to yap. It's not your fault you have a lot of gossip to share, life lore to impart, and complaints to get off your chest!!! A Crocs-inspired candle (yup, you read that right) sure to earn you a compliment from each person who sees it. These look so realistic, you might be tempted to try one on, but these are better suited for enjoying a sweet scent. (Just don't try sniffing your sweaty Crocs.) A pufferfish squishy toy whose annoyed lil' face is far too relatable — however, unlike this sour tiny dude, once you play with him, you might just find your own frown turns upside down. A customizable Love Island-inspired water bottle you'll want to keep close by next time you ask a loved one if you can pull them for a chat in Soul Ties or The Speakeasy. are all my fellow Amaya Papaya stans at?! A versatile linen dress bound to become your new favorite wardrobe piece. It's perfect for weddings, walks along the beach, and rooftop bar drinks after work. My apologies to all of your other dresses that will never see the light of day once this perfect item arrives. A cheeses of the world tea towel because if you're gonna have a tea towel worthy of showing off to guests, it should be one that's as informative and wonderful as this cheesy goodness. Sound off in the comments which of these is your fave. I'll go first: Gouda. An abstract painting painted by an actual 175-pound sulcata tortoise named Tiptoe. Imagine how FUN it'll be to tell your loved ones the backstory of your newest piece of wall decor!!! A social battery sliding enamel pin you'll wanna make part of your daily #OOTD so that your family and friends know if it's safe to begin a yap session with you or best to keep their distance. A tufted cushion that can be used to create a cozy floor-based reading nook or placed on a bench or windowsill for an off-ground comfy upgrade. Now that you have an ideal spot to relax, perhaps you'll finally work your way through that ever-growing TBR list. A pair of huarache sandals you'll be excited to rock with jeans, skirts, palazzo pants, and dresses galore! Not to mention, these are basically compliment magnets because everyone who sees these will remark on your impeccable taste in footwear. A jelly frog soap that is so darn squishable, you'll forget that be used to wash your hands. Honestly, you may wanna keep a "normal" soap on the side, because no way are you gonna wanna do anything but admire this sweet bb next to your sink. Oh, and did I mention it smells like MINT CHOCOLATE?!!!! A set of Crocs charms you can get personalized with photos of your fur bb's face. You already spend so many hours wearing these beloved shoes, add your dog or cat's precious lil' face to the mix, and you'll want to glue your Crocs to your feet going forward. A set of fairy lights that might just put an end to your social life. How?" you ask?! Well, these lights are sure to turn your living space into the most cozy spot in town, so you'll never want to leave home once you have these. (Go ahead, get drinks with your squad at the bar. The lights will still be there when you get home, promise.) A teddy bear matcha bowl for the cutest way to make your delicious morning matcha. I know that this can't technically make your bev taste better, but I do think your drink will be so much sweeter knowing this lil' cutie had a hand in helping to make it. A camera lens flower pot that'll make for a truly photoworthy piece of decor. Taking a gorgeous plant and placing it in this unique vase? That's what I call picture perfect. 📷 Custom photo magnets for a more polished way to display mems on your fridge than flimsy photo prints barely holding on for dear life from plastic magnets you found at the dollar store a few years ago. A Y2K-inspired punch needle coaster because if your coasters look this cool, then your friends and family *may* just be more inclined to actually use one for their drinks. Now the question many will you buy and which ones will you choose?! An insulated tumbler to keep the drink of the summer (IMHO, year) nice and cold as you take your sweet time sipping on it. May not be sitting in the Italian countryside with a bowl of freshly made pasta to accompany it, so my pool in the suburbs and a Kraft Easy Mac cup will have to do. A pair of bubble and wand earrings that may just transport you back to the glory days of spending hours outside trying to blow a bigger bubble than the last — without the soapy mess, of course. If you're looking to boost your ego and fish for some compliments on a given day, these are your ticket!

Groove to mellow music this weekend at R&B Summer Flea Fest

A n experience that blends smooth rhythm and blues sounds, local entrepreneurship and family fun is happening this weekend in Sulphur. The inaugural R&B Summer Flea Fest will happen from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the West Cal Arena & Events Center, 401 Arena Road. Event coordinator Natasha Donato said the goal is to provide a safe event that can be fun for the whole family. She said she was inspired by an 'R&B in the Park' event hosted in Houston earlier this year. 'It was full of music, food and local talent,' she said. 'I was left thinking, 'We don't have anything like that here.' So I decided to create it. … This is a family-friendly event. It's about enjoying music, food and vibes. Just being together as a community.' The flea fest will provide musical entertainment with the performances of Jarvis Jacobs and the Gents, Russ G and Leah Nicole, local artists who are known for their soulful R&B sound. Donato said she chose R&B music to bring a 'mellow' sound to the event. 'It's not heavy or rowdy. You can just sit down and enjoy it,' she said. DJ performance being at 1 p.m. and the live performances start at 6 p.m. The event will be officially hosted by Erik Tee and Donnie Glyenn. Beyond music, the event's primary purpose is to spotlight local vendors, some of whom are lesser-known, Donato said. 'A lot of vendors are kind of quiet and nobody really knows about them,' she said. 'This is a chance for me to advertise their business, whether they're selling products or just handing out business cards.' The festival also includes a car show, a kids' zone with slime bars, bubble stations, face painting, and giveaways of snack packs and hygiene kits. Food trucks will be on-site. To accommodate all ages, the event offers free early entry from 10 a.m. to noon, with general admission priced at $15 until 5 p.m. and $25 for the rest of the evening. Children under 3 enter free. Chairs, fans and blankets will be permitted. No open containers or glass bottles are allowed. For more information, call 337.496.4892 or visit
