Whether or not you managed to get tickets, you may want to get your Oasis fix before the reunion tour kicks off in a couple of weeks time. Now, the BBC have decided to be incredibly generous and broadcast a night of Gallagher best bits on Saturday, June 21.
In two weeks time we will (hopefully) see the notoriously feuding brothers take the stage for the first time together in 15 years. Their reunion tour kicks off in Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Friday, July 4 with a second show at the venue on Saturday, July 5.

BBC Two Wales will be airing two different Oasis performances as well as a documentary on the band from 8.35pm to 00.00am on the Saturday. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter

Dig out your anoraks and bucket hats, because it's the perfect night in for fans of the band and if you didn't get your hands on tickets it is the closest thing to the real deal.
Well, that or seeing a tribute artist I guess.
Moving on. From 8.35pm fans of the band can watch Oasis at the BBC, followed by the documentary Oasis: Right Here, Right Now at 10.20pm.

Lastly, at 11.00pm audiences will be treated to a studio concert by the Gallagher brothers, hosted by Jools Holland called Later Presents Oasis.
It was first shown in April 2000, and includes tracks like the number one Go Let It Out, as well as earlier hits like Wonderwall, Some Might Say and Supersonic.
If you're planning on watching BBC's coverage and you're still searching for tickets for the gigs, there are several options still available. Tickets can be bought from the official Ticketmaster resell site, Viagogo, Vividseats, See Tickets, StubHub, Seat Unique, and Twickets. You can find more information here.

Viagogo and resale tickets
Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.
However, fans should always bear in mind that many official sites, such as Ticketmaster and Live Nation, discourage the purchase of resale tickets.
Lloyds Banking Group estimated that Oasis fans collectively lost more than £2 million to scams since tickets for the band's long-awaited reunion tour went on sale last year.

Oasis tour mania as Noel and Liam Gallagher pose together ahead of first gig

Noel and Liam Gallagher have posed up together for the first time since the Oasis global tour was announced. The brothers, were pictured as part of an Adidas promotional campaign which launched in an advert on Channel 4. Liam and Noel Gallagher have only been photographed together once in the last two decades in August last year, when they confirmed the reunion tour with a black and white shot which made headlines around the world. In April they started filming a new promo campaign for Adidas. Rather than make music the Gallaghers were all smiles as they were spotted arriving separately at a working men's club in Newington Green, London. It was understood at the time they were shooting promo material for Adidas as part of a new planned collaboration between the Gallaghers and the sports brand. Adidas will make their own Originals range based around the Oasis Live 25 tour. In the past both Liam and Noel have also released their own Adidas trainers and Noel has spoken in the past about being obsessed with trainers. Earlier in the day Adidas had teased the announcement on their social media channels sending fans into a frenzy. Oasis split following a backstage bust-up between the Gallaghers at Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009. But thankfully the brothers have now made up and it is believed Liam made the first move to patch things up. On X Liam said last year: "I called him but don't tell anyone as I do t wont folk thinking I'm a soft lad and stuffs keep it between me n you cheers x." The reply laced with humour was typical of Liam's responses on social media. Last week Noel Gallagher told pals he was surprised how good the band are sounding in rehearsals. On Oasis, U2 frontman Bono said: "I love them. I just love them. And what I really love is this, the sort of preciousness that had gotten a part of what was called indie music. They just blew it out. "And there was just a swagger. The sound of getting out of the ghetto, not glamorising it. And they're both funny, funny, funny. "I'm still very close with Noel. And he got a message to me, and he says that he's kind of shocked by how great the band is. So I think we're going to have a good summer.' Noel and Liam will walk on stage for the first time together in public, since the band split nearly two decades ago, on July 4 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. There will also be dates in Manchester, London and Dublin as part of the tour. Liam and Noel posed in a photo together when the full details of their first shows in 16 years were announced on August 27 - sparking pandemonium amongst fans. In a joint statement on behalf of Oasis, the brothers said: 'The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.' In a video to promote the comeback, Liam is also heard saying: "When we both come together, you have greatness." Noel says: "I know my brother better than anybody else. This is it, this is happening."

From snail porridge to psychosis, Heston Blumenthal on the trauma of bipolar

In 2023, while at his home in France, Heston Blumenthal was sectioned. In Heston: My Life With Bipolar (BBC Two), a remarkably frank film in which the chef lays bare the workings of his mind, Blumenthal revisits this distressing event. But he doesn't just talk about it. Blumenthal plays himself in a reconstruction, acting out the moment he tried to fight off the policemen, doctor, and firemen who had been called there at his wife's request to take him to a psychiatric hospital. So this is not an ordinary documentary in which the director asks questions and the subject answers them. It is a deeply personal film made with some of the creativity that made Blumenthal famous. And it is based around a central question that preoccupies him: now that Blumenthal is on medication to damp down his manic highs – as well as saving him from the terrible lows which come with bipolar disorder – will that creativity desert him? It is an unusual focus in a programme about mental illness, but being unusual was what made Blumenthal a star in the first place. He was always a chef fizzing with ideas. Remember the bacon and egg ice cream, the snail porridge? Or the time he attempted to perfect the crispy skin on a Peking duck by using a petrol station tyre pump? In the film, he represents his 'kid in a sweet shop' mentality with a scene in which sweets rain down on his head. But by 2021, two years before his diagnosis, it was evident that something was very wrong. The film includes footage of a BBC interview in which, responding to a simple question, he launches into a mile-a-minute riff about the evolution of humanity. According to the programme, 1.3m people in the UK have bipolar disorder. It can take years to secure a diagnosis, and the care can be dangerously lacking; Blumenthal met Natalie, the mother of 22-year-old trainee paramedic Rebecca McLellan who died by suicide after failing to get the right support. He now has his condition under control, although the medication he takes has slowed his speech and he has a fragile air, no longer the swashbuckling chef. In the grip of a manic episode, Blumenthal believed he could communicate telepathically with his dog and solve the world's water crisis. His wife, Melanie Ceysson, felt compelled to have him sectioned after he began having hallucinations, believing there was a gun on the table in front of him. 'Bipolar had progressed to a point where I was a danger to myself before anyone raised the alarm,' he says now. 'Perhaps my reputation for energy and creativity made people less likely to question my manic highs.' There is no attempt to sugarcoat Blumenthal's story and the effect it has had on those around him. In perhaps the programme's most brutally honest moment, he sits down with Jack, one of his children. Jack says that dealing with their father could be horrible. 'We just wanted a relaxing conversation with our dad. You didn't want it. You didn't want to know anyone's thoughts,' Jack says. Was that entirely down to Blumenthal's illness? Top chefs are notoriously driven. But he is clearly in a better place now, and able to shine a light on the subject in a way that could be helpful to others.

Strictly Come Dancing bosses 'in talks' with Celebs Go Dating relationship expert

Our community members are treated to special offers, promotions and adverts from us and our partners. You can check out at any time. More info Strictly Come Dancing chiefs are reportedly eyeing up relationship guru Paul C Brunson for a spin on the upcoming series of the hit BBC dance contest. Despite the fact that the new season won't kick off until later in the year, there's already chatter about which celebs may be stepping onto the dance floor. Rumours suggest that relationship expert and television personality Paul could sashay his way into the line-up. Familiar to UK audiences from Celebs Go Dating (CGD) and Married At First Sight UK (MAFS UK), Paul has also partnered with Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden on Netflix's reality series, Cheat: Unfinished Business. A source tipped The Sun off as to why the Strictly honchos are keen to enlist Paul, saying: "Paul would be the ideal tonic to the dark clouds over Strictly as he's clean-cut, very intelligent and has no scandals to worry about." Further details indicate that "they are now in discussion but he's met with producers a number of times," reports the Mirror, which has approached the BBC for comment. (Image: Matt Monfredi / Channel 4) It emerged earlier this week that the showrunners are courting Sir Mo Farah. He's described as a "genuine national treasure" whose presence could counter the recent negativity around Strictly. The producers see him as an asset saying his personality could banish the show's recent negative atmosphere. Recently, Strictly has had to navigate through some turbulent waters. Post the 2023 series, Amanda Abbington levelled serious claims against professional dancer Giovanni Pernice, accusing him of bullying. Amanda raised eyebrows with accusations of bullying, which saw Giovanni stepping back from the limelight amidst the uproar. In contrast, Giovanni celebrated a victory on the Italian version of Strictly before returning to the UK for more dance endeavours. (Image: NurPhoto, NurPhoto via Getty Images) At a similar time, Graziano Di Prima found himself dropped from Strictly. That summer, there was chatter about Graziano having possibly kicked and hit 27 year old Zara, allegations he vehemently rejects. He conceded that his "intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime." More recently, Wynne Evans found himself cut from the Strictly live tour due to his actions. Wynne discussed a tumultuous period during his stint on Strictly in an appearance on This Morning, expressing how the negative publicity had deeply impacted his mental wellbeing. "I was at my lowest ebb, I wanted to end my life. I would have if I hadn't been surrounded by people," he confided to the presenters of the programme. Strictly Come Dancing is available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
