An unearthed clip from an old episode of the ITV soap saw Carla talking to her bestie Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) in the café while enjoying a cuppa.
In the scene, Carla got out her mobile phone to text her brother Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward).
However, the way she text on her phone had fans in stitches.
The actress slammed her thumbs on the screen so rapidly that it did not resemble texting or forming any sort of message.

Taking to X - formerly Twitter - one eagle-eyed fan joked: "the message she sent: sjsjsjsjssjsjkk".
Another added: "Ha that's how my wee ones at work (under 5yrs) think texting looks like!"
