YSRCP organises rallies to mark 'Betrayal Day', protests against CM Chandrababu Naidu
YSRCP East Godavari District President and Former Minister Chelluboyina Venugopala Krishna led the rally. Following the rally, the former minister submitted a representation to the District Collector.
A large number of party leaders, workers, and supporters actively participated in the rally, which was organised to protest against the N Chandrababu Naidu government.
YSRCP shared posts on X, showing visuals from protests marking 'Betrayal Day' held in multiple locations. The rally in Rajampet was led by Meda Raghunath Reddy. MPs Mithun Reddy and Maddila Gurumoorthy participated in the rally in Sarvepalli constituency, and Chandragiri constituency in-charge Chevireddy Mohith Reddy organised a huge rally in Chandragiri constituency.
According to an X post by YSRCP, after the rally, MP Gurumoorthy said that the coalition government came to power by making false promises to the people, and it is ridiculous for the coalition leaders to say that today is a festival day for the people. The MP said that people think that this is not a government that celebrates festivals, but a government of pure violence. He said that the false promises given by the coalition will burn the coalition government like fire in the coming days. He warned that YSRCP workers and leaders are being harassed with illegal cases to divert people's attention from election promises, and there is no point in being afraid of such wildfires. He said on this occasion that more such protest programs will be organised against the failures of the government in the future.
Sharing a video on '1 year of CBN Back Stabbing', YSRCP wrote on X, 'Super-6 turned out to be a golden duck. AP people won't forget this betrayal.'
Meanwhile, Naidu-led TDP is celebrating the day as 'Praja Teerpu Dinam' (People's Victory Day). (ANI)

Lucknow: Taking a series of jabs at the Samajwadi Party during a 24-hour discussion on Vision 2047 for Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday said the party's slogan of PDA stood for ' Parivar (family) Development Authority' and that had limited its perspective like a frog in a well. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav had coined PDA for ' Pichhda ' (backwards), Dalits (Scheduled Castes) and ' Alpsankhyak ' (minorities) and said that would be the focus of the organisation. Leader of the Opposition in the UP Assembly Mata Prasad Pandey had earlier asked why Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had a problem with PDA when the communities had played a key role in the growth of Uttar Pradesh. Highlighting his government's achievements, he added, "After 2017, the double-engine government (BJP-led governments at both the state and Centre) established the rule of law. There has been zero tolerance towards crime and criminals. Schemes are implemented without discrimination or appeasement, and UP's contribution to the national GDP has increased from 8 per cent to 9.5 per cent."

'Our position on the conflict has been clear and consistent. There has been no change. We continue to call for a ceasefire, unconditional release for hostages, continued supply of humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, and we stand for a two-state solution,' MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said at the ministry's weekly media briefing. The comments came amid reports of worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza. According to Al Jazeera, cited by ANI, four more hunger-related deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of starvation-related fatalities to 239. Meanwhile, Israel's coordinator of government activities in the territories (Cogat) rejected claims that it was blocking humanitarian aid to Gaza. 'The reality is entirely the opposite of the claims that were published.
