4-star CB decommits from South Carolina ahead of UGA visit
Peyton Dyer, a four-star cornerback from Duluth, Georgia, is attracting significant recruiting attention as the No. 27 cornerback in the 2026 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He decommitted from the South Carolina Gamecocks this week after visiting with the Georgia Bulldogs in March.
Dyer has listed where he will be taking his official visits. The 6-foot, 190-pound prospect has official visits lined up for USC (June 6), Georgia (June 13), and South Carolina (June 20) this June.
Dyer has visited Georgia football multiple times this offseason and plans be in attendance for the G-Day spring game this Saturday along with many other priority recruits.
Dyer has become a recruit that Georgia is going after hard. Georgia only has two defensive commits in safety Zech Fort and JUCO defensive lineman Seven Cloud. Building up the defensive side of this recruiting class will be key for Georgia, who is expected to have departures after this upcoming season.

Jason Day Sparks Controversy With Wild Outfit Ahead of U.S. Open
Jason Day Sparks Controversy With Wild Outfit Ahead of U.S. Open originally appeared on Athlon Sports. In a world of golf where tucked-in polo shirts and khakis reign supreme, the presence of Jason Day has been a breath of fresh air for many over the past couple of years. With his daring sense of style that has ruffled feathers and turned many heads, Day has made a name for himself thanks to his partnership with Malbon, rocking parachute pants, trendy sweaters, and groutfits on the course. Advertisement This week, just a couple of days before the U.S. Open tees off on Thursday at Oakmont Country Club, Day once again turned some heads with his outfit choice. On Tuesday while warming up for a practice round, Day looked more like he was getting ready to head to a 4th of July barbecue rather than play a round of golf at one of the most prestigious country clubs in the nation. On theme for the week, Day was seen warming up on the range while rocking a pair of stars and stripes shorts with a blue polo shirt. What you think of Day's outfit choice likely represents how you feel about Day's fashion choices in general. Some are big fans of the bold looks, and the relatively casual nature with which Day treats the game, while others are upset that he is making a statement and going against the grain with his clothing. Advertisement Here's how some fans reacted on social media Tuesday morning: "Dude's straight up wearing swim trunks," one commenter said. "These are hard dgaf what anybody says," another fan added. "Known American, Jason Day," one observer added, noting that Day is famously Australian, making his American Flag shorts a bit ironic. While Day is letting the flashy outfit shine on a Tuesday practice round, it's fair to assume that he may tone things down a bit once the tournament starts on Thursday. We've seen this be the case in the past, with Augusta National Golf Club famously having to approve his wardrobe before The Masters Tournament this past spring. Advertisement As for the actual golf being played, Day hopes to get back into form and compete for another major championship. His only major victory came in 2015 at the PGA Championship, and he hasn't won on the PGA Tour since 2022 at the AT&T Byron Nelson. This season, Day has three top-10 finishes in 10 starts thus far. Highly-touted TE Rahzario Edwards schedules trip to visit Oregon Ducks
Highly-touted TE Rahzario Edwards schedules trip to visit Oregon Ducks The Oregon Ducks hosted a long list of 5-star players over the weekend for official visits, with some of the top-ranked players in Eugene. Things aren't slowing down anytime soon, either, with another group of elite players flocking to Eugene this weekend for more official visits. Among them are guys like 5-star QB Ryder Lyons, CB Davon Benjamin, CB Elbert Hill, and OT Kelvin Obot. On Tuesday, it was also announced that 4-star TE Rahzario Edwards would be joining the mix as an official visitor as well. The 247Sports Composite rates Edwards as the No. 49 overall player in the 2026 class, and the No. 3 TE in the nation. He stands at 6-foot-6, 210 pounds, and is also taking official visits to the UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans, and Ole Miss Rebels. The Ducks already have the No. 1 TE in the nation committed with 5-star Kendre Harrison, but they would love to add another elite playmaker to the mix. Westerville resident, PGA golfer Jason Day stands out at U.S. Open practice with wild shorts
He wasn't born in America, but that isn't stopping Westerville's Jason Day from representing the Stars and Stripes. As Day has started practice for the U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club in Plum, Pennsylvania, he has done so while donning American flag shorts that have caught the attention of reporters and fans alike on hand covering the build-up to the event. Advertisement Day has rounded out the outfit with an American flag-themed white jacket, looking like he's ready for a Fourth of July cookout as much as a golf tournament. Day, 37, lives in Westerville with his wife and five kids. He did not participate in the 2025 Memorial Tournament due to a sore wrist.
