Bella Hadid's empire is expanding. On August 10, her fragrance brand, Ôrebella, teamed up with Cha Cha Matcha on limited-edition drinks inspired by her earthy eau de parfums. At the Venice Beach location, the supermodel taste-tested them herself not in matcha green, but head-to-toe tomato girl red.
After sipping on the Velvet Moon Matcha (a blend of spiced cardamom, soft vanilla, ginger, and maple), Hadid was spotted outside the store in two summer 2025 trends. In one $89 pair of Jaded London pants, she pulled off capris and gingham. She paired the red-and-white bottoms with a matching halter-neck top, courtesy of Princess Polly. Shockingly, it's still available to shop at a marked-down rate of $23, instead of $45. Its asymmetrical hemline covered her waist, while the back remained open.
For good measure, Hadid finished her matcha-house moment with sheer ballet flats. Her tomato-red shoes appear to be the Dear Frances's $490 Balla Mesh flat. She's been a repeat customer since 2016, but if I'm right, these are her newest purchase. She first wore them in May, alongside a Frankie's Bikinis swimsuit. The sock-like silhouette, made from transparent Italian mesh, mimicked her sister Gigi Hadid's favorite Mansur Gavriel flats.
Once Cha Cha Matcha closed its doors, Bella Hadid swapped her tomato-y attire for another popular pattern: polka-dots, courtesy of a tank top and matching micro-shorts. (She, of course, documented the switch on IG.) An oversize bomber jacket matched the set's black-and-white color story. To finish, Hadid popped on fashion glasses, plus loafers in lieu of her mesh flats.
Hadid's 61 million followers know she's been more active on Instagram lately— posting sometimes one, if not two dumps each day. Whether she's hosting an Ôrebella event or riding her horse in Texas, it's clear, she's so "back"—her words, not mine.

QBs to watch (says AI), new releases and predictions coming true

I suppose I should address this up front, but I've been getting a lot of slack about my newsletter last week, as it may have been construed as me taking a swipe at The Hobby Awards and ultimately my boss, Evan Parker, who had omitted me from being a celebrity judge for the upcoming awards. I just want to clear the air: you interpreted correctly. Shove it, Evan. But also, check this out. Last Tuesday I wrote: Deep Sleeper Collectible of the Year Gina Carano is currently suing Disney and her acting star was on the rise before she got fired from The Mandalorian. She is probably in line for a comeback soon — and the Carano market has managed to stay remarkably strong despite her cancellation – autographed card prices aren't the deals you think they would be. Then, on Friday, this happened: 'Lucasfilm and Disney settle with actor Gina Carano following her firing from 'The Mandalorian.'' I am literally out here making lawsuits go away with my newsletter. I'm shaping culture! Your move, Buster. With football around the corner it seems like everyone is hype about the big-ish six sophomore quarterbacks. Drake Maye, Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix, Michael Penix, Jr., and J.J. McCarthy are getting a ton of hobby love. Arena Club, the trading and 'slab pack' platform ran a high-end $2,500 per card 'legendary' slab pack over the weekend. Yes, that's $2,500 for one card from one of those six quarterbacks. The 'grail' card, which you have less than a 0.10% chance of hitting, was a Jayden Daniels Donruss Optic Downtown Gold rookie /10 graded PSA 9, which is comped at over $22,000. The law of averages tells us that not all of these dudes will and can succeed, so instead of researching who I think might be a good 'investment' I went ahead and asked Google Gemini's AI bot to tell me what to do. While the bot didn't want to provide financial advice it clearly favored Caleb Williams, still, despite his struggles last season and in spite of Jayden Daniel's incredible rookie season. Gemini insists that Williams has the 'highest ceiling' but it also favored, quite a bit, J.J. McCarthy due to him 'landing in the most favorable situation.' I'm not here to tell you that to follow the advice of AI— I'm mostly here to remind you of the following 'can't miss' 'high ceiling' quarterbacks: Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Daniel Jones, Mac Jones, Landry Jones, Cardale Jones, James Earl Jones - oh, wait, sorry he wasn't a quarterback. My bad, it's hard to keep up with the Joneses. …That was a long set up for a not-worth-it punchline but just a friendly reminder that spending $2,500 (or more) on a sophomore quarterback rookie card doesn't always end up being a 'good investment.' Hope you didn't miss the pre-order of the Topps Chrome Boxing release on Monday. It's the first time in 74 years that Topps released boxing trading cards. I know that boxing isn't quite on the trajectory that it was 74 years ago, but if you've been reading this newsletter for a minute then you know I'm a sucker for new shiny things [a sentence I type will sitting on a chair made of 2023 Monopoly NBA Prizm blaster boxes that I bought as a retirement plan]. Speaking of Topps, the 2024 GPK Battle of the Bands - Green Day edition - pre-sales sold out respectfully fast. If you missed out, you still have a chance to buy on release day, which is August 27th. This product is quite the procrastinator's dream since this is a [checks the date on the box once again] twenty, twenty-FOUR release. Leaf, I love you, but you're bringing me down. It's not that I'm against whatever this is actually supposed to be - or should I say who this is meant for - but I feel like this is one of those situations where a release like this can instantly sink the entire Livvy Dunne auto market. I'm not sure we need any more Livvy Dunne autos. We have enough on the market already to satisfy every man woman and child and teenage boy. It feels like this is the WNBA Royalty version of Panini making you spend $2,000 on a Prizm hobby box to chase Caitlin Clark rookie autos only to, months later and pretty much under the radar, release the Royalty collection which made all those Prizm autos feel 'meh.' Maybe I'm being too much of a prude, but the absurdity of this card makes her normal cards seem too 'normal' to be anything special. On the pro-Leaf front, so you know I'm not hating on them - I think the Leaf Anime Nation cards are highly, highly underrated. They tap into generational phenomenon (anime) that in a decade from now will still be highly popular and desirable. Like the Panini Manga cards but, you know, affordable. Hey, now! This guy has over 95,000 unique Topps Now cards. I actually love the Topps Now set, but man that's a lot. Though, I guess if you ever want to look back at Jose Altuve's 9th double on a Tuesday while Mercury was in retrograde, you can thumb through the collection and look back fondly on that amazing feat. How did everyone hold up at The National? Tons of people are sharing their purchases, grails and stories over at Mantel. Come share!

Jennifer Aniston Reflects on Matthew Perry's Death

Jennifer Aniston recently delved into the death of Matthew Perry, her Friends co-star. In an emotional interview, the actress reflected on their decades-long friendship, expressing relief that he is no longer suffering. Jennifer Aniston talks about Matthew Perry's death In an interview with Vanity Fair, Jennifer Aniston spoke at length about losing her friend and Friends co-star Matthew Perry, who passed away unexpectedly in 2023 at the age of 54. Perry had been open for years about his struggles with alcohol and drug addiction. Aniston recalled the toll those battles took on him and those close to him. She said, 'We did everything we could when we could. But it almost felt like we'd been mourning Matthew for a long time. Because his battle with that disease was a really hard one for him to fight.' She added, 'As hard as it was for all of us and for the fans, there's a part of me that thinks this is better. I'm glad he's out of that pain.' Her remarks followed the release of the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's findings. It listed the acute effects of ketamine, drowning, coronary artery disease, and buprenorphine as the contributing factors in Perry's death. He was discovered unresponsive in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home on October 28, 2023. The investigation into his death resulted in several arrests. This included the individuals accused of providing him with ketamine, a doctor who had worked with him, and his live-in assistant. Not long after his passing, Aniston shared a deeply personal tribute on Instagram. 'Having to say goodbye to our Matty has been an insane wave of emotions that I've never experienced before,' she wrote in November 2023. The Friends star added, 'We all experience loss at some point in our lives. Loss of life or loss of love. Being able to really SIT in this grief allows you to feel the moments of joy and gratitude for having loved someone that deep.' Originally reported by Disheeta Maheshwari on Mandatory. Joe Jonas' Ex Sophie Turner Reacts to Being Mom-Shamed

Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas' ex, has clapped back at those commenting on her parenting. This follows Turner sharing pictures from a night out at an Oasis concert, which led to some criticism. However, the actress did not let it slide and responded sharply. Sophie Turner reacts to backlash about her parenting style Sophie Turner, who shares two daughters with ex-husband Joe Jonas, recently became the focus of online criticism after posting a carousel of photos from an Oasis concert. The pictures show Turner enjoying the night: laughing with friends, posing for the camera, kissing a cardboard cutout of Liam Gallagher, and sporting a laid-back look in denim and a bucket hat. She captioned the post, 'Bucket hats & beers…. That'll do me.' While plenty of followers praised her night out, one commenter decided to take a swipe. They wrote, 'Lmfao I think she has forgotten that she has two kids.' Turner replied sharply, 'Ah I'm so sorry sometimes I forget some people can't think for themselves. So…. Get this….There's this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day.' The response quickly spread across social media, with many chiming in to defend her. (via Entertainment Weekly) Previously, the Emmy-nominated actress has been candid about how deeply criticism of her parenting affects her. In a 2024 interview with British Vogue, she reflected on the intense media attention during her divorce, particularly tabloid claims that portrayed her as a partier. Turner said, 'It hurt because I really do completely torture myself over every move I make as a mother — mum guilt is so real! I just kept having to say to myself, 'None of this is true. You are a good mum, and you've never been a partier.'' Turner and Jonas married in 2019 and went through a very public split in 2023, when the latter filed for divorce in Florida. Their separation was finalized in September 2024, exactly one year later, after they reached a custody agreement. Originally reported by Disheeta Maheshwari on Mandatory.
