Debenhams take more than £400 off price of 'top quality' men's watch
Typically priced at £480, Debenhams customers can benefit from an 85% discount, subject to availability, and secure a watch for just under £75. The STÜHRLING Original Aeronaut Quartz Aviator Watch is part of the sale happening at the online store, with watches worth hundreds being significantly reduced from their regular price.
There are plenty of bargains elsewhere for those looking to invest in a similar-looking timepiece. Very is offering a discount on this Men's Timberland Louden Gun Multi Dial Brown Leather Strap (was £119, now £80.50), or Next has this £30 Limit Pilot 43mm Mens Round Black Analogue Watch with Tan Strap.
Although Father's Day has been and gone, this timepiece would make a fantastic gift to stash away for Christmas, an upcoming birthday or simply as a treat for yourself. Debenhams highlighted that the "bold" timepiece features "ultra-accurate precision" in timekeeping and provides "unparalleled comfort" with an embossed leather strap.
Available in light brown, navy blue or classic black, the watch has been given glowing reviews from customers, reports the Daily Record. One said: "I bought this watch and couldn't be happier! The design is great, and I get so many compliments!"

Another shared: "What a piece of top quality kit, it's even better than I thought. l will treasure this." A third customer addded: "Very good quality and good-looking watch, also a good service from Debenhams too."
However, there were some customers who faced problems with their purchases. Another claimed: "I appreciate it is an analogue watch, but it is difficult to set the time/date and day, especially being older and having larger than average fingers."
A fifth put online: "The watch loses minutes every hour." And one person cautioned others interested in the black version, stating: "Not totally happy with the purchase, only because the [black] strap looked dark green in the pictures."

Additional feedback could be found on the official STÜHRLING website. An online shopper wrote: "I like its simplicity with the hidden seconds hand. It has a very classic look and that is why I bought it."
And, another person posted: "I love the look of this watch, kind of edgy and technical at the same time. The band is a bit stiff, but excellent once you get used to it."
However, a dissatisfied shopper complained: "I can hear it ticking across the room very loud. I can't keep it beside my bed at night, so I leave it in another room. Very loud!"

Ninja shoppers rush for 20% off sale including air fryers and dessert makers
Ninja has cut the price of many of its popular products on the website for a limited time Ninja has cut the price of many of its items for a limited time, including many of its air fryers, ice cream makers and coffee machines. The company is offering a big 20 per cent discount on many of its devices with the code NINJA20 —perfect for summer or last-minute gifts. Some items include the Ninja SLUSHi and the Ninja CRISPi - all with sizable discounts that won't last forever. We've picked out a couple of our favourite products and discounts on the Ninja website. Here's some of the best deals shoppers can pick up right now. Fitbit smartwatch hailed 'best buy' by delighted tech fan drops to under £100 Pet owners 'save a ton of money' when travelling thanks to 'lifesaver' app Meanwhile, for those shoppers who want to check out the full range of deals, they can do so on the Ninja website. The Ninja SLUSHi drink maker One of its big discounts includes the Ninja SLUSHi Frozen Drink Maker, which is currently £349.99. However, with the NINJA20 discount code, it comes to £279.99. It's perfect for those hot summer days when shoppers need a drink to take the edge off. Debenhams currently has the same deal available right here from Debenhams with the same NINJA20 deal. It transforms liquid to slush in as little as 30 minutes and keeps drinks frozen for up to 12 hours. It also has five presets—Slush, Frozen Cocktail, Frappé, Milkshake, and Frozen Juice—so Brits can customise the drink they want on hot days. It also has great feedback from shoppers. One shopper said: "We absolutely adore the Slushi. It is so easy to use—just add your favourite drink, milkshake, etc., and off you go. We have tried all the features; we have made cocktails, milkshakes, frozen alcoholic drinks, slushes, etc. I cannot fault it." Another shopper added: "We have had the Slushi machine for a few months now and absolutely love it. We have made many alcoholic and non-alcoholic slushies and a few different-flavoured milkshakes, and all have turned out fantastic. The shopper did note one big downside, however. They added: "The downside with the product is that the main body of the Slushi stained when using orange fizzy pop. We washed it straight after using it but couldn't get rid of the staining no matter what we tried." There are also alternatives to consider. The Inoviva Slush Machine is another option available in this high-end slush market niche in the UK market and while that has an average of 4.5 stars out 80 reviews on Amazon it's still £349.99 at full RRP, although Amazon Prime members can get it for £239.99 for a limited time. The Ninja CRISPi air fryer Despite being on sale, the Ninja CRISPi 4-in-1 air fryer is also super cheap on the Ninja website. It's currently £169.99 but with the NINJA20 discount code, it is £135.99. Shoppers can cook anywhere there's a plug, making it an ideal choice for smaller spaces. It also has multiple functions such as air fry, roast, keep warm and recrisp. It cooks with heated air for even results and food can be served directly from the bowl. For those on a health kick, the air fryer requires little to no oil. With a 3.8-litre container, it can feed up to six people and has the capacity to cook a whole 1.2kg chicken and vegetables. This makes it an ideal option for family dinners, friend get-togethers, or meal-prepping lunches. Sides and smaller portions can be cooked in the 1.4-litre small container, which is thermal-shock resistant and dishwasher safe for easy cleaning. If this isn't the one for everyone, they could instead try the Cookworks Halogen Air Fryer in Black for £36 from Argos. Another option is this four-litre air fryer on Dunelm for £30 - perfect for those on a budget. There are also brilliant reviews from shoppers. One reviewer said: "I love it, little compact. It just arrived, and I used it to warm up some takeaway from last night. I didn't really read the description, though. It comes with 1 glass plate, so I ordered 2 additional once. So now I have too many glass pods, but it's fine. I will keep one as a spare if I break one." However, another shopper did have some gripes. They added: "This is the first Ninja product I have purchased, and although it is easy to use and clean, I am disappointed that after only using the large crisping plate a couple of times, one of the silicone feet has split." The Ninja CREAMi ice cream maker The Ninja CREAMi ice cream maker is also on sale on Ninja's website for £135.99 when you add the NINJA20 discount code. The CREAMi is loaded with features, offering a wide range of frozen desserts and as is often the way with Ninja, it's seemingly gone viral, make it eally easy to find recipes online. When using the Ninja CREAMi, users first have to make and freeze the ice cream base, before using the CREAMi to turn it into the dessert of your choice once it's frozen. There's also plenty of alternatives to go for. There's the Cuisinart ice cream maker - £49 on Amazon - uses a frozen bowl, so users can make their ice cream in about 25 minutes instead. A pricier alternative, to the Cuisinar option, is the £199 Lakeland Compressor Ice Cream Maker. This can make 1.5litres of ice cream 'in under an hour' as stated on the brand's site. Customers praise how easy it is to use and how easy it is to clean. One reviewer said: "It's super easy to use, in fact the hardest part of making super creamy ice cream is having the patience to wait for it to freeze for 24 hours." Others love the variety that comes with making your own ice cream at home and said: "custard ice cream, strawberry and yoghurt, peach sorbet … pineapple sorbet and sweet potato ice cream." However, some have called out that it's a little noisy and added: "it is very, very loud so if this could be fixed, it would be amazing".

Thursday's briefing: Son completes MLS move and Man Utd close in on Sesko
Son Heung-min completed his record-breaking move to Major League Soccer's Los Angeles FC but used his introductory press conference to admit it was not the move he had imagined making. Manchester United believe they are closing in on a deal for RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko, which looks like dealing another blow to Newcastle as the uncertainty over their star striker Alexander Isak continues. Troubled Sheffield Wednesday are up for sale on the eve of the new Sky Bet Championship. Son: LAFC switch 'not my first choice' A new era begins in Black & Gold. — LAFC (@LAFC) August 6, 2025 Son Heung-min admitted Los Angeles FC were not his first choice destination after he ended a 10-year stay at Tottenham, but insisted they had 'changed his heart' on a record Major League Soccer transfer. The 33-year-old on Wednesday completed a move worth in excess of £20million – the highest transfer fee paid by an MLS club – after it was revealed on Saturday he would be leaving Spurs following 173 goals in 454 appearances and months after he captained the club to Europa League glory. At an introductory press conference in Los Angeles, the South Korea international admitted he had to be persuaded of the merits of moving to the United States before signing an initial two-year deal. 'They've been absolutely working so hard to get me here to join LAFC,' Son said. 'If I'm honest, it was not my first choice but John (Thorrington, LAFC general manager) was the first call when the season finished and John changed my mind, he changed my heart.' United confident on Sesko deal Manchester United believe Benjamin Sesko favours a move to Old Trafford over Newcastle as they look to strike a deal with RB Leipzig for the Slovenia forward. The 22-year-old striker has been the subject of a tug of a war as the Premier League sides attempt to bolster their attacks ahead of the new season. Newcastle made the first move and their second bid for the striker was worth a reported 82.5million euros (£71.9m) plus add-ons. United have followed with a lower offer of 75m euros (£65.4m), plus a potential 10m euros (£8.7m) in add-ons, but PA understands United believe Sesko favours them. The Slovenia international, who scored 21 goals in 45 appearances in all competitions last term, has long been on the Red Devils' radar, stretching back to when he moved from Domzale to RB Salzburg in 2019, and they have made him their priority in the search for a new striker. Isak trains alone as uncertainty continues As Newcastle face the prospect of disappointment in their pursuit of Sesko, the future of their current star striker Alexander Isak is no clearer, with the Sweden international only reporting for training on Wednesday after the rest of Eddie Howe's squad had gone home. Isak, 25, did not join Newcastle's pre-season trip to Singapore and South Korea, and had recently been training at former club Real Sociedad as Liverpool saw a bid worth £110million rejected by the Magpies. Howe's players were back in training on Wednesday after two days off with their families invited to join them later in the day, but PA understands Isak, who reported back to their Benton base on Monday, was told not to come in until after they left. The £63million frontman has been a huge hit since his arrival from Sociedad during the summer of 2022 and played a key role last season as they ended their 70-year wait for a major domestic trophy with the Carabao Cup and qualified for the Champions League for the second time in three seasons. EFL in talks with Chansiri over Wednesday sale The English Football League is in 'advanced discussions' with Sheffield Wednesday owner Dejphon Chansiri over the sale of the troubled club on the eve of the new season. The crisis-hit Owls are under various EFL-imposed embargoes for financial breaches and failed to pay salaries on time for the third consecutive month in July, with players refusing to play in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Burnley last Saturday. While the players have said they will play in Sunday's opening Sky Bet Championship fixture at Leicester, the EFL is now working with Chansiri to find new ownership. 'The League wants to see a strong, stable and competitive Sheffield Wednesday, and for that to happen we are clear that the current owner needs either to fund the club to meet its obligations or make good on his commitment to sell to a well-funded party, for fair market value – ending the current uncertainty and impasse,' the governing body said. What's on today? Several clubs are in action in the qualifying round of the Europa Conference League, with Hibs away to Partizan and Dundee United travelling to Rapid Vienna. Linfield are away to Vikingur and Larne host Santa Clara.
