'Whenever I'm with her, it feels like we're just regular people,' Kelce said. 'When there is not a camera on us, we're just two people that are in love. It can be perceived as something else because of how much it is talked about and how much we are tracked whenever we do go out, but I would say that it's as normal of…. It happened very organically even though from a media standpoint it was being tracked. It still happened very organically.'
The three-time Super Bowl champion, 35, was first linked to Swift, also 35, in the summer of 2023, when he expressed interest in connecting with her at an Eras Tour stop in Kansas City by passing along a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it.
Swift, who had been touring throughout the U.S. that year, made her first Chiefs appearance in September 2023, and fans — not to mention the dads, Brads and Chads — have not been the same since.

Kelce joined Swift on tour during the 2024 offseason, even making his Eras Tour debut in Europe, while the 14-time Grammy winner has attended various Chiefs games, including their Super Bowl 2025 defeat to the Eagles in February.
Despite the heightened attention on their every move, at the end of the day, Kelce says he and Swift are simply 'two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are.'
'Nothing I've ever done has been a controlled, organized process,' he said. 'When I say it was so organic, we fell in love just based off the people we were sitting in a room together with. We are two fun-loving people who have the morals to appreciate everyone for who they are. We share all those values. It just kind of took the f–k off.'
Swift, who spent the offseason with Kelce as he prepares for his 13th season in the league, even made a pitstop on his 'New Heights' podcast to tease her upcoming 12th studio album, 'The Life of a Showgirl.'

What Is ‘The Life Of A Showgirl' Release Date? Everything To Know About TS12
Welcome to the orange era. Taylor Swift has announced her 12th studio album and is expected to reveal the cover art and more details on the New Heights podcast this week. Here's everything to know so far about TS12, including clues about its possible release date. On Monday, Aug. 11, a cryptic countdown appeared on her website, following a long trail of Easter eggs dating all the way back to her time on the Eras Tour. Perhaps the biggest clue came after Taylor Nation, Swift's official management team, posted a variety of photos of the singer in orange-hued outfits on Instagram. 'Thinking about when she said 'See you next era… ❤️🔥' the caption read. On the same day, Travis and Jason Kelce's podcast, New Heights, teased that a very special guest would be joining the brothers this Wednesday — and the silhouette of the guest looked very similar to Swift's. The image was also set against a sparkly orange background, which corresponds with the orange-themed outfits from Taylor Nation. What Is The Name Of TS12? Swift's 12th studio album is titled The Life of a Showgirl. The announcement was made on the singer's official website during the early morning hours of August 12. Taylor Nation also posted a clip of Swift sharing the name of the record with Travis and Jason Kelce on their hit sports podcast New Heights. 'At 12:12 on the 12th, TS12 finally got a name: The Life of a Showgirl. ❤️🔥 More info soon… pre pre-order the album & pre pre-scream in the meantime!!!!!!!!!!!!' Taylor Nation wrote alongside the New Heights teaser. What Is The Life Of A Showgirl Release Date? The exact release date for The Life of a Showgirl has yet to be announced. However, according to Taylor's website, the album will ship by October 13, 2025 — so the release date will be before then. 'This is not the release date. Official release date to be announced," the website clarified. For now, you can pre-order the album on Swift's official website as a CD with a poster ($12.99), cassette ($19.99) and vinyl ($29.99). Who Are The Producers On The Life Of A Showgirl? Along with the album announcement, Swift released a playlist titled And, baby, that's show business for you ❤️🔥, which includes 22 tracks from various albums. Swifties were quick to point out that all the songs were produced by the songwriting and production duo, Max Martin and Shellback, with whom the singer collaborated on Red, 1989 and Reputation. Will The Life Of A Showgirl Feature Any Collabs? There's a strong chance that Sabrina Carpenter will appear on The Life of a Showgirl, thanks to a list of clues, including her website featuring the date August 12, 2025. Carpenter was also included in the 12-photo carousel Taylor Nation posted teasing the pop star's 'new era.' Here are more fan guesses about Carpenter's rumored involvement: When Is Taylor Swift Revealing The Life Of A Showgirl Cover Art? Swift will be revealing The Life of a Showgirl cover art during the next episode of the New Heights podcast, which will be released on Wednesday, August 13, at 7 p.m. ET. You can listen to the episode on Wondery, Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube and more. Stay tuned for more details about TS12, including the official cover art, tracklist, release date and more.

15 The Life Of A Showgirl Easter Eggs And Fan Theories
On Monday, Taylor Swift's official fan account, Taylor Nation, and her boyfriend Travis Kelce's podcast, New Heights, hinted at Taylor having a big announcement coming around a new project. Later that night, a countdown appeared on her website, which ultimately led to the announcement of her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. The release date is still TBA. While we have a name and a color scheme, the album's track list and cover have been kept under wraps, likely until Taylor's appearance on New Heights Wednesday evening. Nonetheless, Swifties like myself have been passing the time by searching far and wide for Easter eggs, clues, and anything else our beloved, glittery Jigsaw of a popstar left behind for us to piece together what might be instore for the Showgirl album. Well, my fellow Swifties, I present to you, the Tourted Poets Department, this here thesis, in which I have scoured the internet, my memory of the Eras tour, and Taylor's tour book for every bit of evidence we have thus far for what The Life of a Showgirl era may have in store for us. Here are 15 Easter eggs and fan theories regarding Taylor's new album, a few of which have already been confirmed by Taylor herself: During the final act of her record-breaking Eras Tour — The Midnights Era — an orange door descended on the massive screen at the very back of the stage. At the time, many of us speculated that the door hinted at Taylor's next project or era, and given that The Life of a Showgirl is, in fact, orange, it seems like we were right! Taylor also usually left the stage after her final "Karma" bows from beneath the stage, but on the very last night of tour, she exited through where the orange door had been on the screen, which many fans took as her "walking into" her next era. In Taylor and Travis's New Heights promo, there are four suspiciously album-shaped items labeled "T.S." on the bookcase behind them. There's an orange one, a silver one, a red one, and a blue one. Could this mean a multi-part album like TTPD and Midnights with The Anthology and the 2AM editions, respectively? The Death of a Showgirl, maybe? Or perhaps these are hinting at alternate covers for the album? As shared in a Spotify advertisement in Times Square last night, Taylor also dropped a playlist titled, "And, baby, that's show business for you ❤️🔥," seemingly teasing a lyric from the album... You can find the playlist here. But also? The playlist consists exclusively of songs from Red through Reputation that were produced and co-written by her previous collaborators, Max Martin and Shellback. The trio created hits like "Style" and "Shake It Off", and it looks like they'll be teaming up again for this album, hinting that it's likely to have a pop-y, 1989-esque sound. That being said, at the present moment it looks like Jack Antonoff and Aaron Desner aren't currently involved with the project, but never say never! Not to alarm the first song added to the playlist is 22, and it was added two weeks before all the others. Could we be getting a single on the 22nd of this month? Or maybe there are 22 songs? As the album's title suggests, it appears as though, like The Tortured Poets Department, Taylor worked on much of this record while on the Eras Tour. Some eagle-eyed fans pointed out that the sparkly orange background that's made an appearance in her New Heights teaser, her TS12 announcement countdown, the temporary album cover, and in several other pieces of The Life of a Showgirl promo has been seen before. Where, you might ask? In the Eras Tour book, in the "Behind the Scenes" chapter, which had led fans to believe that the album is perhaps a look at her life "behind the scenes" of the Eras Tour. Do you remember the theme of "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" (her last music video release pre-Showgirls era) on the Eras tour? The performance was showgirl-themed, of course, as was its segment in The Eras Tour, which depicted Taylor as an exhausted, overworked showgirl who had to put on her "professional" face and get the job (aka the show) done. The choreography of the number was made up of routines from other numbers in the show, signifying Taylor having to put on a brave face and have a "The show must go on!" mentality despite how she may actually be feeling or what is going on in her personal life. Further, in the music video, her backup dancers can be seen performing feathers. While the TTPD era's set and aesthetic was largely white with gold, black, and silver accents, it seems this pop of color in the video may have been a hint at what was to a reminder that Taylor Swift allllllways has something up her sleeve. I've always wondered what these orange feathers were for, because the first image seems to be Kam's "We Are Never Getting Back Together" moment and the bottom image seems to be her "Midnight Rain" costume change, which are not only totally different eras, but use totally different props (or none at all). Other tweets Taylor recently allegedly liked hint at other Easter eggs of or aspirations for the Showgirl album's theme and aesthetic, like the Grammys stage and her "Bejeweled" music video: We were playing checkers (clowing over Rep TV for the 13 millionth time, which didn't even exist!!!!) while she was playing chess (hinting at a project we didn't even know existed). Kicking off this whole thing Monday morning, Taylor Nation posted this Instagram carousel of Taylor wearing orange outfits on tour, with the caption, "Thinking about when she said, 'See you next era...'❤️🔥" There were, of course, 12 photos in reference to this being Taylor's 12th album they were hinting at. Who else made an appearance in this photo dump, you might ask? None other than the "Espresso" singer and Eras Tour opener herself, Sabrina Carpenter, on the very last slide. So, we're finally getting a TayBrina collab on this album, right? Orange and white? TTPD and The Life of a Showgirl?? Put on your clown nose and roll with me here on the whole "Taylor feat. Sabrina" thing, okay? So, last week, Sabrina posted these photos on Instagram with the caption "Go put on some clothes!" Well, the night the photo of Taylor and Sabrina above was taken, Taylor invited Sabrina on stage to sing an "Espresso" and "Is It Over Now?" mashup by calling her live in front of the audience and saying, " Is there any chance you could get off the rollercoaster you're on and, like, put on some clothes and come down to the stadium real quick?" Is Easter egg, perhaps??? Here's a transcript of that portion of the phone call: TAYLOR: What are you doing? Why aren't you here with us? What are you doing right now?SABRINA: Obviously, I'm on, like, a rollercoaster, I'm somewhere where everyone is screaming so loud.T: Oh! I know, I'm somewhere where people are screaming really loud, too. I just- here's the thing, Sabrina. Is there any chance you could get off the rollercoaster you're on and, like, put on some clothes and come down to the stadium real quick? Now, could that post merely be a reference to the slut shaming and pushback Sabrina has received since her original Man's Best Friend album cover dropped? Surely! But could it also be teasing something they wrote or recorded together way back in October? I think it could! And who else chimed into that conversation on Instagram? None other than Taylor's longtime friend, supermodel Gigi Hadid. Back to Taylor Nation's announcement post for a sec. We've gotten a lot of "12" themed hints (things being posted at 12, the announcement at 12:12, etc.). Looking at Taylor's The Life of a Showgirl vinyl listing on her site, it's priced about the same as the original edition of Midnights ($29.99), which was a 1LP and featured just 13 tracks. It's also priced less than TTPD's pre-anthology vinyl ($34.99) which was a 2LP with 16 tracks. So, what if The Life of a Showgirl is 12 tracks total, each of which was hinted at in TN's post, vibe-wise? The fifth image of the photo set, for instance, is of Taylor performing "Champagne Problems." As we all know, Taylor's track 5's are usually her most raw and heart-wrenching on the perhaps this is hinting at Showgirl's track 5 being "Champagne Problems"-esque. And Sabrina is featured on the final album, which could hint to track 12 of the album being a collab between the pop star besties. If you really wanna put your clown hat on with me for a second, remember that intro she would play on tour while talking about Evermore and Folklore before she sang "Champagne Problems"? if that's the melody of Showgirl's track 5? Alright, last one, and it's a fun one. Given that orange is one of The Life of a Showgirl's main colors, fans were expecting its corresponding heart to be the orange emoji* (🧡), however, it seems as though the flaming red heart is actually the one Taylor chose (❤️🔥). A Taylor Swift Easter egg list is nothing without a reference to the good 'ole Lover house (I know, I know!), which Taylor famously burned down in the visuals on the Eras Tour. *If you're new here, allow me to explain. Each era (or album) has a designated color and a matching heart emoji. The list is as follows: 💚💛💜❤️🩵🖤🩷🩶🤎💙🤍, and now, ❤️🔥. Lover's muse was Taylor's then-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, whom she's written about from Reputation through The Tortured Poets Department. The couple broke up before her Eras Tour kicked off. Does the Showgirl heart emoji, in addition to the burning of the Lover house, signify her ending that chapter of her life creatively, or in her music? Or perhaps the burning red heart is a reference to the songs "Red" from her Red album and "Daylight" from Lover, which discuss colors in association to love. In "Red" Taylor sings about love being "burning red", but in "Daylight," she retracts the statement, singing, "I once believed love would be burning red, but it's golden, like daylight." Perhaps this means we're getting a new reflection on what "color" she thinks love is? Or that she felt she was actually right in the first place? Are there any The Life of a Showgirl Easter eggs we missed? Do you have a theory? Tell us in the comments below!

30 Birthday Date Ideas to Brighten Your Partner's Special Day
If your love language is acts of service, your partner's birthday is probably your Super Bowl. It's a day fully devoted to celebrating them, and chances are, you want to pull out all the stops. But before you spend thousands on a trip or book the hardest-to-get dinner reservation in town, take a beat to really think about what your partner will appreciate. Because, PSA: In many cases, you don't have to go full throttle on a birthday date idea to show your partner that you love them. Half of doing that is showing them you get them, and planning a birthday surprise or activity that's tailored to their interests might be more meaningful than anything else. Step one: Think about their passions. Are they really into a particular sport or hobby? Do they love books, movies, or pop culture? Are they artsy? Foodie? You probably know them better than anyone else, so use that knowledge to your advantage! Step two: Think about their habits and routines. Are they 100 percent not a morning person? Maybe don't plan an early hike on the morning of their birthday. Are they chronically late? Something with a timed reservation might not be a fit. If they love being the center of attention, a group hang could be ideal. Introvert? A cozy night at home with a personal chef or some other private activity could be just the thing. You're fully capable of pulling off a birthday surprise they'll remember for life. But if you're not sure where to start, we put together a helpful list of thought starters and ideas to get your gears turning. Nothing beats belting your favorite song at midnight on your birthday. Karaoke is fun for a date, but it can often be even more fun with a small group of friends. Invite your SO's core four for a personal concerto you'll never forget. Is your partner a big fan of cheese? Treat them to a cheese and wine pairing class at your local cheese shop. If they love to cook, a cooking class would be ideal. If they love the idea of making their own candles, or painting a piece of art for your bedroom, or anything where they can use their hands to make something beautiful, there are tons of classes on Eventbrite that you can treat them to on their special day. Few things say "romance" like a night-time ferris wheel ride. Visit your local boardwalk or fair, ride the rides, win them a big 'ol stuffed animal—are you swooning yet? You probably already go out to dinner a lot. But if your partner's a foodie (aka, not at all a picky eater) take them to a nice place with a tasting menu, or an omakase spot where every course is a surprise. Find a photographer (or enlist the help of a close friend) to take extra-special photos of the two of you in your favorite place (and some of just them, too). In a lot of relationships, couples don't have professional photos taken of themselves together until they're engaged, or even married. Whoever came up with that rule was living in the past because there is no wrong time to capture the moment. And a special birthday?? Sounds like the perfect moment to us. (Plus, your Instagram Stories will be elite.) If your partner is crafty and emotionally attached to things, a painting date at a pottery or ceramics studio is the perfect birthday date. You get to sit down in the AC and let your creative sides take flight, and you get a very sweet memento to remember the day. You'll think of it every time you sip from your personalized coffee mug. <3 Some people (read: geniuses) on TikTok have been taking their partners to Barnes and Noble for an express shopping spree on them. The gist is, you take your partner to the store and give them one minute (three? five? up to you!) to grab as many things as they want. You pay. A bookstore makes perfect sense for this because it's probable that if your SO is a bookworm, they probably have their TBR list memorized and can spot their picks from a mile away. But this can easily be replicated at any other store where trying stuff on isn't essential. Either way: You're buying, they're smiling. Every couple has one: the restaurant they first met at, the restaurant that has some sort of special meaning to it, etc. If you're looking to keep it low-key, this is an easy and obvious choice. No better way to celebrate a new year than by eating a meal you know is good while being in a familiar place—perfect for those birthday babes who want to just have a reliably good night. Broadway, burlesque, comedy—whatever kind of live entertainment happens to be your partner's cup of tea, dinner and a show is a classic date night for a reason. Not only does Going to The Theater™️ (be it an opera house or a basement comedy club) feel just a lil fancy, but it's the perfect 'activity' date for people who…don't actually like activities that much but want to do something that feels a little more special (and thus birthday-date-worthy) than just going out for dinner. If your partner's birthday is in the summer (or if you happen to live in a forever-summer climate), then get thee to the nearest beach! A beach date is always a good idea because, hi, what's better than hanging out in the sun with your partner and admiring each other's semi-nude beach bods in public? Make the day extra special by surprising your S.O. with a new bathing suit or bringing along fixings for a birthday beach picnic. If you've got the time and cash, then nothing beats a birthday vacation. Whether you opt for an elaborate European vacay or an intimate weekend getaway, the only thing better than a birthday date night is a birthday date trip. (Also, birthday sex + vacation sex? Enough said.) If the birthday boy/girl/person in your life is in the mood for a more low-key celebration this year, then why not flex your chef skills (if you've got 'em) and treat your sweetheart to a romantic, home-cooked meal? Set the mood with some music and candles and take your partner on the birthday dinner date of their dreams, right from the comfort of their own home. (Just don't forget the cake!) A birthday gift and a birthday date all in one! Treat you and your boo to a spa day—featuring a couples massage, ofc. Because really, what better way to start a new year than with a healthy dose of self-care? What's more relaxing than spending the afternoon surrounded by stunning works of art you've never seen before? Enjoy the quiet of a museum as you walk hand in hand with your birthday boo between each room. This one is specifically for the history and/or art buff in your life, BTW. And for the outdoorsy types, a b-day camping trip may be just the thing. You don't have to go for several nights, a one-night stay will do. But make sure to pick somewhere safe and pack the marshmallows for s'mores, because duh. If you love the idea of camping more than the actual, uh, camping of camping, might we suggest a little glamping trip? There are several Airbnbs out there that offer this amazing and luxurious experience. All you'll need to do is pack your clothes, toiletries, food, and some entertainment, and you'll be good to go. Whether you pack the basket yourself or buy it from a restaurant, make sure to get things you know they love—like their favorite cheese, wine, and desserts. (And don't forget to throw in some special birthday treats!) Nothing says happy birthday like renting a super fancy car that you know you can't afford in reality. Visit the nearest town/city on your bucket list, walk around, see the sights, do the things, and remember to bring back a souvenir. Instead of going to a stuffy restaurant, spice it up by going to a food truck yard and trying a little bit of everything. It'll most likely be less spensy, and you'll get to try new things you probs wouldn't normally find on the menu at your go-to restaurants. IDK who needs to hear this, but a birthday is the perfect excuse to go day drinking. Take the day off, sip some vino, and enjoy the open skies with a little buzz. If your partner is the spontaneous type, treat them to something that's going to get their adrenaline going. And if you're in a city that doesn't provide these experiences, you can opt for a helicopter ride or a small plane ride to a neighboring island. Beer, baseball, and hot dogs—is there any better way to spend a chill birthday? But if your partner prefers something a little more fast-paced, treat them to a basketball or hockey game instead. No matter what age they're turning this year, nothing will bring out their inner child like eating cotton candy and riding roller coasters all afternoon. For another outdoorsy idea, plan a fun hike. You could either pick one of their favorite trails or go out of state to try a new one. Make sure to pack accordingly, and have a picnic once you've reached your destination. Sometimes birthdays can be a lot of pressure. If you still want to make it special without all the fuss, treat your person to their favorite movie or guilty-pleasure TV show at home while ordering from your favorite restaurant. Chinese food and Real Housewives? Sounds like the perfect b-day to me! If you and your partner are one of those couples who celebrate Thanksgiving with a turkey trot (not that I'm judging or anything), this one's for you. Spend a Saturday or Sunday running a 5K or 10K together—and then treat yourself to some much deserved birthday sweets. I've only been to an escape room one time, but let me tell you, it brought out a whole new level of competitiveness I did not know I possessed. If you and your partner love to work together to complete puzzles, this might be the perfect birthday date. Or if they love all music, hit up a local jazz bar or whatever other live music offerings your city might be serving up on their special day. Start prepping for your next adventure together by brainstorming your couple's bucket list. Want to go on an international trip together? Or how about adopting a senior dog from your local shelter? Spend some time together planning your next steps. Get one slice from each of your city's famous pizza places and rank them on a scale of 1 to 10. You're basically role-playing as sexy food critics. And once you've had your fill of pie, make one last stop for a bite of birthday cake. Don't forget to make a wish!
